Some sprinklers in underground mines spray water mist to lessen the amount of dust in the air. But water mist causes LiDAR to provide inaccurate point measurements, which are referred to as water mist noise that undermines the effectiveness of LiDAR-based localization and object recognition. Therefore, in order to reduce water mist noise, we have developed a new noise segmentation network that can operate on a CPU in real time-differential stability noise removal network (DSNRNet). This network consists of two sub-networks. The first sub-network is aimed at extracting differential stability features, so we named it the differential stability feature extraction network (sub-network 1). The second sub-network: a fully connected neural network (sub-network 2), is used to segment noise. To evaluate the DSNRNet's performance, we built a LiDAR semantic segmentation dataset of underground mines and run the DSNRNet in an Intel i7-11800H CPU. The experimental results demonstrate that this method is able to strike a better balance between speed (26.3 milliseconds) and accuracy (97.8 % ) compared with the other two most possible methods-DSOR (24.2 milliseconds, 3.2 % ) and WeatherNet (436.8ms, 98.5 % ).

Using multimodal technology to infer learners’ cognitive processes is an important means to support personalized learning. Previous cognitive process analysis is more about subjective reasoning, and less about combining physiological signals. With the rapid development of virtual reality technology, new requirements and more immersive schemes for learner’s cognitive process inferring have been proposed. Based on this, this paper proposes an immersive learning system with multimodal cognitive processes inference, which is composed of macro, mesoscopic and micro environments. The system analyzes learner’s actions, emotions and attention to infer learner’s cognitive process through more comprehensive and objective multimodal data. The system also combines eye movement, brainwaves and other data, and proposes a multimodal data acquisition and analysis scheme using HMD-based VR. This paper also provides an immersive learning cognitive processes inference scheme for individual online learning, offline classroom learning scenarios.

Introduction of virtual reality technology enriches the expression of traditional games and greatly improves the sense of substitution and interactive experience of users. Realization of virtual reality is inseparable from artificial intelligence technology. In order to improve immersion and interactivity of virtual reality games, it is necessary to propose more intelligent solutions to existing technologies. This paper aims to discuss some intelligent methods of virtual reality games. Firstly, it discusses artificial intelligence means to enhance the virtual reality experience, which can improve the tracking and force / tactile interaction system of existing virtual reality games from software and hardware aspects; Then it proposes the concept of human-machine hybrid enhanced intelligence: by introducing human cognitive model to improve perception and decision-making ability of virtual reality games, so as to make interaction of virtual reality games more friendly and more real.

Accurately predicting the trajectories of surrounding vehicles and assessing the collision risks are essential to avoid side and rear-end collisions caused by *** improve the safety of autonomous vehicles in the mixed traffic,this study proposes a cut-in prediction and risk assessment method with considering the interactions of multiple traffic *** integration of the support vector machine and Gaussian mixture model(SVM-GMM)is developed to simultaneously predict cut-in behavior and *** dimension of the input features is reduced through Chebyshev fitting to improve the training efficiency as well as the online inference *** on the predicted trajectory of the cut-in vehicle and the responsive actions of the autonomous vehicles,two risk measurements are introduced to formulate the comprehensive interaction risk through the combination of Sigmoid function and Softmax ***,the comparative analysis is performed to validate the proposed method using the naturalistic driving *** results show that the proposed method can predict the trajectory with higher precision and effectively evaluate the risk level of a cut-in maneuver compared to the methods without considering interaction.

Cyber-physical social systems (CPSS) include cyberspace, physical space, and social space. Since the introduction of CPSS, human relationships with machinery and the physical world have altered as a new paradigm. Recent estimates indicate that approximately 60 percent of the world's population will live in cities by 2030. Large, dense cities can be highly productive, innovative, and very green per capita, hence ideal for our future. However, the huge influx of new people poses enormous challenges to their administrations. Smart cities are becoming a reality, therefore, to achieve higher efficiency, optimum use of resources, management and to strengthen several features of modern towns, several elements of modern cities are automated and integrated into Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Cities and infrastructure are growing all over the world, in providing end-users with increased performance, comfort, visibility and convenience, the Smart Cities concept is critical. This paper will discuss smart cities and the CPSS concept intensively with some of its key technologies, challenges, and further development by using CPSS. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider a novel and efficient method to price equity-linked guaranteed minimumdeath benefits (GMDB) with European-style geometric Asian and arithmetic Asian payoffs. In thesituation of continuous transition of market economy, we assume that the underlying asset price processfollows regime-switching Ĺevy model and use complex Fourier series (CFS) expansion method to derivethe approximate value of GMDB products. The error analysis shows an exponential convergence rateunder geometric Asian and arithmetic Asian payoffs. Furthermore, the CFS approach is comparedwith other Fourier transform methods and Monte Carlo simulation, the numerical experiment resultsillustrate our method has a distinct advantage over other methods in both efficiency and accuracy. © 2022, The Authors. Aiming at limited communication and energy re-sources in wireless sensor networks (WSN s), this paper proposes an energy management scheme of WSNs via adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) based on event-triggered mecha-nism (ETM). The optimal control strategy obtained by iteration can schedule the sensor nodes and make the nodes switch between working and sleeping situations, thus improving the energy utilization and extending the service life of the energy-constrained WSNs. Firstly, the mathematical model of WSNs is established, and the state is estimated by extended Kalman filter (EKF) algorithm to improve the measurement accuracy. Then, ADP solves the designed value function to achieve the scheduling plan. On the premise of system stability, ETM is applied to activate the controller on demand, which can reduce communication burden and save WSNs energy consumption. Finally, the simulation experiment reveals that the proposed algorithm can reduce the unnecessary triggering times of the controller effectively while ensuring the requirements, and avoid data congestion and interaction resource waste.

The power grid is a kind of national critical infrastructure directly affiliated to human daily life. Because of the vital functions and potentially significant losses, the power grid becomes an excellent target for many malicious attacks. Due to the special nonlinear measurements, many detection methods do not match the grid very well. The extended Kalman filter based detection is one of the few methods suitable for nonlinear system detection, and therefore can be used in power system to spot malicious attacks. However, the reliability and effectiveness of the extended Kalman filter based detection have not been fully studied and adequately guaranteed. By proposing a two-step false data injection attack strategy, this paper gives a stealthy way to inject false data of increasing magnitude into the power grid, which can eventually cause a certain degree of deviation of the grid state without being detected. In the simulation, the method proposed in this paper caused a voltage deviation of more than 25% before being discovered in the power system. © 2021 IEEE.

Multilevel Heterogeneous Domain Adaptation Method for Remote Sensing Image Segmentation

Due to more abundant data sources, more various objects of interest, and more time-consuming annotations, there is a large amount of out-of-distribution (OOD) data in the remote sensing field, on which the performance of high-accuracy image segmentation models trained under ideal experimental conditions generally degrades dramatically. Domain adaptation (DA) consequently comes into being, which aims to learn the predictor for the label-scarce target domain of interest with the help of the label-sufficient source domain in the presence of the distribution difference, namely, domain shift, between the two domains. However, the off-the-shelf DA methods for image segmentation not only struggle to cope with the more complex domain shift problems in remote sensing imagery but also almost cannot process heterogeneous data directly without information loss. While the current heterogeneous DA methods mostly still rely on some supervision information from the target domain, which is typically inaccessible in the real world. To overcome these drawbacks, we propose the multilevel heterogeneous unsupervised DA (UDA) method, termed MHDA, which unifies the instance-level DA based on cycle consistency, the feature-level DA based on contrastive learning, and the decision-level DA based on task consistency into a framework to more effectively handle the complex domain shift and heterogeneous data. After that, extensive DA experiments are conducted on the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) dataset, the BigCity dataset constructed by ourselves, and the Wuhan University (WHU) dataset, to explore the effect of each module in MHDA, the necessity of heterogeneous DA, and the effectiveness of multilevel DA. And the results demonstrate that MHDA can achieve superior performance on the remote sensing image segmentation task, compared with several state-of-the-art DA methods.
