Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) have been gaining popularity in recent years due to their promise of realizing the decentralized Web 3.0. However, most DAOs rely heavily on token-centric value systems as well as allocate decision-making authority and yield-sharing rights according to the held tokens, which often lead to monopolization of power and rights. To address this issue, this paper contributes to propose a truly democratic organization model, named True Autonomous Organizations and Operations (TAOs), that does not count upon tokens and is guided by principles of contribution-based and on-demand allocation. We first discuss the design of TAOs, including their infrastructures, power structures, and value systems, and then provide a technical roadmap for implementing TAOs in the DeSci context. This research can provide a valuable guidance for the construction and application of TAOs. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents management-Oriented Operating systems (M2OS) that leverages the power of parallel intelligence theory, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) and foundation models to revolutionize the manner of management in Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS). The parallel architecture on M2OS is proposed, including the parallel interactive actual M2OS and artificial M2OS. Among them, the artificial M2OSs provide digital infrastructures for organizations to operate, collaborate, and make decisions in the virtual space, and conduct computational experiments to evaluate management decisions and predict future states of the actual M2OS. Through parallel execution and closed-loop feedback between the artificial and actual M2OSs, the management and control, experimentation and evaluation, as well as learning and training of the actual M2OS can be realized. Moreover, the functional layers of M2OS, including the infrastructure layer, data layer, scenario layer, modeling layer, decision layer, and application layer, are discussed. These layers work together to support the intelligent, autonomous, collaborative, and adaptive nature of the M2OS, and facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimize business operations, and empower managers with real-time actionable insights. The proposed M2OS paradigm has great potential to transform the management paradigm and opens up new possibilities for intelligent and collaborative decision-making. © 2023 IEEE.

Dear Editor,This letter develops a novel method to implement event-triggered optimal control(ETOC) for discrete-time nonlinear systems using parallel control and deep reinforcement learning(DRL), referred to as Deep-ETOC. The developed Deep-ETOC method introduces the communication cost into the performance index through parallel control, so that the developed method enables control systems to learn ETOC policies directly without triggering conditions.

With the collaboration of several intelligent services, a crowd intelligence service network has been formed, and a service ecosystem has gradually emerged. As a novel service organization model, the Service Ecosystem (SE) can provide more sophisticated, precise, and thorough services and has attracted widespread attention. However, it also brings negative effects such as involution, and information cocoon room. Thus, how to analyze the collaborative decision-making mechanism between the SE regulation algorithm and the crowd intelligence group, exploring the reasons behind the negative effects, and finding effective intervention strategies have become problems in this field. To solve the challenges, we propose a Computational Experiments-based method Decision-making processes Analysis model in SE, namely CEDA. The proposed CEDA model consists of three modules: the autonomous evolution mechanism module, the learning evolution mechanism module, and the collaborative decision-making analysis module. Among them, the computational experiments can provide a customized test environment for the analysis of collaborative decision-making processes and find out the appropriate intervention strategy. Finally, the validity of the CEDA model is verified through the case of academic ecosystem involution. Car-following is the most common driving scenario where a following vehicle follows a lead vehicle in the same lane. One crucial factor of car-following behavior is driving style which affects speed and gap selection, acceleration pattern, and fuel consumption. However, existing car-following research used limited categories of driving style through pre-defined patterns and failed to encode driving style into data-driven car-following models. To address these limitations, we propose the Aggressiveness Informed Car-Following (AICF) modeling approach, which embeds driving style as a dynamic input feature in data-driven car-following models. In detail, We design driving aggressiveness tokens using four physical quantities (jerk, acceleration, relative speed, and relative spacing) to capture the heterogeneity of driving aggressiveness. These tokens were then embedded into a physics-informed Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) based car-following model for trajectory prediction. To evaluate the effectiveness of our approach, we conducted extensive experiments based on 12,540 car-following events extracted from the HighD dataset and 24,093 events from the Lyft dataset. Compared to models devoid of considerations for driving aggressiveness levels, AICF exhibits superior efficacy in mitigating the Mean Square Error (MSE) of spacing and collision rate. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to directly incorporate real-time driving aggressiveness tokens as input features into data-driven car-following models, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of aggressiveness in car-following behavior. This paper introduces the Image-based Modeling for Transformative Traffic control (IMTRAC) framework, which revolutionizes urban traffic management by integrating image-based representations, foundation models, and dynamic signaling. It transitions from textual to visual data analysis, transforming complex traffic scenes into quantifiable insights. The image-based representation is then analyzed by foundation models to infer refined and effective traffic control policies. Our experimental results show marked improvements in traffic flow and reductions in waiting times, highlighting IMTRAC’s ability to outperform traditional control methods. The proposed IMTRAC promises a significant leap towards smarter, efficient urban traffic systems, leveraging the synergy of advanced imaging techniques and multi-modal foundation models to enhance control decisions.

Personal authentication means that the relevant system confirms whether the identity of the user is real,legal and unique.A safe and convenient personal authentication method is a core for guarantee the security of our information and *** Electromyography(sEMG),which exists on the surface of the skin,is a good signal to achieve personal authentication,for it is difficult to be extracted and *** this paper,a new personal authentication method using forearm sEMG is ***,8-channel sEMG signals are recorded by Myo armband that is placed on right forearm of 14 subjects who perform the same hand open ***,two different deep learning models are presented to classify the *** multi-layers Convolution Neural Network(ML-CNN) and two stages Long Short Term Memory(2 s-LSTM) Network can achieve accuracy of 97.50% and 93.60% respectively,shows it is feasible to achieve the goal of personal *** the time cost of ML-CNN is higher than the 2 s-LSTM,both are lower than human reaction *** the architecture of ML-CNN is more suitable to achieving the goal of personal authentication.

As social production and living spaces gradually expand from the physical and information domains to the cognitive and social domains, this article addresses the new changes brought about by these expansions. Starting from the new impact of era of intelligent connectivity on social cognitive management, it analyzes the urgent need to enhance social cognitive management capabilities centered on cognitive decision-making, identifying the core key as Adversarial Generated Intelligence (AGI). It delves into the conceptual characteristics, operating mechanisms, and winning strategies of AGI, identifies the new challenges it faces, and proposes a Parallel Intelligence empowering AGI (PiAGI) system architecture through the empowerment of parallel intelligence.
