The purpose of this paper is to design a coherent feedback controller for a Markovian jump linear quantum system suffering from a fault signal. The control objective is to bound the effect of the disturbance input on the output for the time-varying quantum system. We prove the relation between the H ∞ control problem, the dissipation properties, and the solutions of Riccati differential equations, by which the H ∞ controller of the Markovian jump linear quantum system is given by the solutions of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs).

7.3: Compare Variation of User's EEG Owing to Parallax Cue

3D display has become increasingly popular in many fields. It can provide incredible immersion compared with 2D display. There are many researches referring to the change of user about no matter subjective experience or objective physiology signal while watching 3D content. Similarly, in this paper, we study the variation of user’s EEG when the user watched 3D content. However, we only focus on parallax cue and avoid other cues of 3D content by using Random Dot Stereogram(RDS) as visual stimulus. We designed an experiment which asked the subject to watch RDS with nine kinds of parallaxes(0,±0.5,±1.1,±1.3,±1.7). The users watched one RDS for 1 minute and then closed eyes and rest for 1 minute every time. During watching, EEG signal with 30-channel was recorded. The result suggests that significant variation of the user’s EEG data occurred in the Alpha (8–13Hz) and Beta(14–30Hz) frequency band by different parallax’s comparison. And we found not only parallax but also electrode position can impact the user’s EEG data significantly. Accurately, the EEG data has a significant change in six electrodes position in both frequency bands including CZ, PZ, OZ, O2 in international 10–20 system. It means those electrode positions we detect can be regarded as typical positions where we record EEG signal. It will simplify the process of EEG signal acquisition when we need to study the relationship between parallax cue of 3D display and the user further.

Shared control schemes allow a human driver to work with an automated driving agent in driver-vehicle systems while retaining the driver’s abilities to control. The human driver, as an essential agent in the driver-vehicle shared control systems, should be precisely modeled regarding their cognitive processes, control strategies, and decision-making processes. The interactive strategy design between drivers and automated driving agents brings an excellent challenge for human-centric driver assistance systems due to the inherent characteristics of humans. Many open-ended questions arise, such as what proper role of human drivers should act in a shared control scheme? How to make an intelligent decision capable of balancing the benefits of agents in shared control systems? Due to the advent of these attentions and questions, it is desirable to present a survey on the decision-making between human drivers and highly automated vehicles, to understand their architectures, human driver modeling, and interaction strategies under the driver-vehicle shared schemes. Finally, we give a further discussion on the key future challenges and opportunities. They are likely to shape new potential research directions. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

容错性能对于自推进仿生机器鱼在实际水下应用中的可操作性和生存能力至关重要。本文探讨了具有多个可活动关节和一个被卡住尾部关节的自由游动机器鱼的容错控制问题。提出的控制系统主要由两个部分组成:反馈控制器和前馈补偿器。具体而言,一方面,设计了基于生物启发中心模式发生器的反馈控制器用于使机器鱼对外部干扰具有鲁棒性;另一方面,引入了基于动力学模型的前馈补偿器来加速整个控制系统的收敛。在此基础上,开展了仿真实验来完成控制系统分析和故障机器鱼游动性能验证。最后,水下实验表明,所提出的容错控制方法能够有效调整故障机器鱼,使其能够在故障情况下完成所需运动,进而提高实际机器鱼系统的稳定性和寿命。

In this paper, we present a new framework for large scale online kernel learning, making kernel methods efficient and scalable for large-scale online learning applications. Unlike the regular budget online kernel learning scheme that usually uses some budget maintenance strategies to bound the number of support vectors, our framework explores a completely different approach of kernel functional approximation techniques to make the subsequent online learning task efficient and scalable. Specifically, we present two different online kernel machine learning algorithms: (i) Fourier Online Gradient Descent (FOGD) algorithm that applies the random Fourier features for approximating kernel functions; and (ii) Nyström Online Gradient Descent (NOGD) algorithm that applies the Nyström method to approximate large kernel matrices. We explore these two approaches to tackle three online learning tasks: binary classification, multi-class classification, and regression. The encouraging results of our experiments on large-scale datasets validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithms, making them potentially more practical than the family of existing budget online kernel learning approaches.

In terms of the difficulty of vehicle tracking in complex environment of the visual surveillance system, an object tracking algorithm is proposed for the applications in practical visual surveillance systems for intelligent traffic. A block-based Gaussian mixture background modeling method for object detection is presented to reduce the computational complexity of moving vehicle object abstraction. An adaptive tracking algorithm fused with color features and texture features is described to better adapt the traffic scene variation. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively deal with the complex urban traffic conditions and the tracking performance is better than the conventional particle filter method and single feature based non-adaptive object tracking method.

12.2: A 3D Display Parallel System: Light Field Re-rendering and Depth Sense Optimization

The main benefit of 3D display over 2D display is the obvious ability to create a more lifelike character with high depth sense. However, the limitation of human eye's visual mechanism, unartful 3D scene structure design, or bad viewing condition always emerges poor depth perception experience or even physiological discomfort during the watching time, which is often sub-optimal for mass high-quality 3D display productions. To solve this problem, we propose a novel 3D display parallel system for depth sense optimization and it empirically guides how the light field should be re-rendered. Structurally, the parallel system consists of an artificial perception measurement system, a display evaluation model and a light field display rendering system, which includes the display calibration, scene capture, light field data processing and display. Particularly, the system can systematically analyze and model various factors affecting the depth sense which learned through the measurement system, like scene structure, objects’ speeds in 3D video and so on. And those sense factors can be personally modified or increased according to the viewer's demands or technical improvement. Moreover, the light field could be real-time re-rendered, based on some image processing technology, optical flow analysis and object segmentation (or tracking) (especially the one-shot video segmentation). Theory and algorithms are developed and experimental validation results show a superior performance.

We report on the synthesis of Sr0.55-xLa0.45CaxCo0.3Fe10.9O19 by the ceramic method. Powder X-ray diffraction data of the samples show that the heterogeneous peaks in the spinel phase containing Co with Ca2+ substitution (0≤x≤0.10) gradually diminish. The lattice constants c decrease as the Ca2+ content increases. In addition, the lengths of Fe-O bonds at positions such as 2a, 2b and 4f2 in the crystal were shortened. Raman spectroscopy verified the occupancy of Co2+ in the presence of Ca2+. Magnetization measurements showed that Ms reached a maximum value of 77.85 emu/g when the Ca2+ content x=0.10. HA decreased from 32.20 kOe (x=0) to 27.60 kOe (x=0.20) and K1 obtained a maximum value of 6.50☓106 erg/cm3 at x=0.05. The results of the research on these samples are useful for low Fe content ions in place of M-type strontium ferrite is of great significance. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Open source intelligence, with rich content and sophisticated collection and analytical techniques, is an alternative data source in many anti-terrorism studies and has manifested significant applicable prospects. In this paper, we take the "East Turkistan" separatist activities as the research objects and collect the data from the world wide web by utilizing web crawlers. We adopt text analysis techniques to extract the information of four fundamental elements of "East Turkistan" separatist activities, including person, organization, time and place, and then construct multi-mode networks according to the relations between concepts. To analyze the characteristics of these networks, we first apply the approach of dimensional decomposition to separate the multimode networks into single vertex sub-networks and bipartite sub-networks, distinguish the importances of different types of nodes by measuring the centrality of each sub-network, and synthesize the centrality index of each sub-network to form an importance composite index (ICI). To further identify the core nodes of the four types of nodes in the network, we adopt the k-shell decomposition method to directly decompose the multi-mode network. We find that the results produced by these approaches presented above can be in accord with the actual ones. ©, 2014, Acta Automatica Sinica. All rights reserved.

The changes in the physical phase, microscopic morphology and magnetic properties of the magnetic powders obtained at different calcination temperatures with different Fe and Ca contents were investigated. Strontium ferrite Sr0.55-yLa0.45CayCo0.3FexO19 (y=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15;x=9.4, 9.9, 10.4, 10.9) was prepared by the solid-phase reaction method, and the calcination temperatures ranged from 1175°C to 1250°C during the experiments. It was found that when the calcination temperature was decreased, the magnetic powder particles became smaller, but the Fe2O3 heterogeneous phase appeared in the magnetic powder. And reducing the Fe content can eliminate the Fe2O3 heterogeneous phase, but it will lead to the increase of grain size. Adjusting the Ca content can ensure the constant Co content into the lattice, but it will also increase the grain size. Finally, by magnetic analysis, the calcination temperature was decreased from 1250°C to 1225°C, and the coercivity of the magnetic powder was increased by about 1000 Oe, and the saturation magnetization intensity did not change significantly. Therefore, it is inferred that the effect of decreasing the calcination temperature on improving the coercivity is greater than that of decreasing the iron content and increasing the calcium content on decreasing the coercivity. The coercivity Hc can be increased without changing the saturation magnetization strength Ms. Ultimately, the magnetic properties of La-Ca-Co substituted M-type strontium ferrite can be further improved by this method. © 2022, The Authors.
