As a kind of renewable and clean energy, wind energy has been widespread concerned by countries around the world. However, it is shown that wind turbines will have a serious impact on Air Traffic Control (ATC) communication, navigation and surveillance systems due to the complex electromagnetic scattering properties. Therefore, analysis of the wind turbine Radar Cross Section (RCS) and micro-Doppler feature are of great significance. FEKO is a suit of professional electromagnetic analysis tool which has a large advantage of calculating the RCS of wind turbines and other electrically large objects. The RCS of wind turbines is calculated by FEKO, and the variability of wind turbine RCS with azimuth and elevation angles is analyzed in the paper. Meanwhile, in order to further present the micro-Doppler features of wind turbine echo, wind turbine echo is simulated based on FEKO and the characteristics of wind turbine echo in time domain, frequency domain and time-frequency domain are also analyzed, by which we reveal the micro-Doppler features of wind turbine caused by the rotation of wind turbine blades. The great agreement between simulation and real data confirms the validity of the FEKO simulation results in the paper.

Wind turbines could have a serious impact on Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar system because of the complex electromagnetic scattering properties. In this paper, matching pursuit technology is studied to mitigate the wind turbines interference. Due to the large amount of calculation in the conventional MP algorithm, rotation rate of wind turbine and radar azimuth are firstly estimated based on the priori information, then matching pursuit algorithm is applied to mitigate the wind turbine clutter. Effectiveness of the proposed method is verified via simulation experiments.

The weakness of ADS-B signals makes it vulnerable to jamming. In order to suppress jamming, the paper proposes an ADS-B anti-jamming approach with low-complexity based on a cross-antenna array. First, down-sampling the digital IF signals received by array, and estimating the covariance matrix using the down-sampled snapshots. Because of the different duration and different features of DOAs between ADS-B 1090ES signals and jamming, the larger eigenvalues of the estimated covariance matrix mainly consist of jamming. Then the array weight vector could be conducted by power inversion algorithm based on the covariance matrix obtained from the first step. Finally, jamming can be nulled by the array weight vector. Thus the proposed method would almost only suppress jamming and the output SINR would be improved sharply. Down-sampling reduces the complexity of the algorithm. Simulation and experiments results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

A multi-target track generation method based on the statistical analysis of large amounts ADS-B data is proposed in this paper, a lot of valuable charts and statistical results are obtained, and compared with conventional track generation algorithms this research can improve greatly the authenticity of the virtual tracks. The complete data processing procedure is presented in this article, including data decoding and data statistics. Data decoding is to extract the effective ADS-B data to establish databases. Data statistics is to provide important reference for system initialization and continuous track generation. Finally, multi-target track data which is very close to real ADS-B data are generated, and an additional track for conflict detection is added based on conflict models.

The integrality of moving objects is the basis for video-based object tracking and action analysis. But it often becomes unreliable as a result of shadow elimination when the object has similar properties with real shadow. The proposed methods manage to improve the integrality of detected moving objects as much as possible, by image matting operated on candidate shadow regions. Existing approaches for image matting require manual labeling of foreground and background. Considering the moving feature points in shadow may cause classification errors, we propose automatic scribbling methods based on Scale invariant feature transform(SIFT) and Speeded-up robust feature(SURF) respectively. Experiments demonstrate that our methods eliminate real shadow effectively and improve object segmentation in the case of object parts and shadows presenting similar characteristics.

This paper studies GPS receiver anti-spoofing jamming problems. Unlike blanket jamming, spoofing jamming is hidden because its power level below noise floor. Besides, spoofing jamming has the same format with satellite signals. A designed spoofing jamming can guide GPS receiver positioning errors occurred and change its navigation line. The existing jamming suppression methods of satellite navigation systems are more suitable for blanket jamming suppression, while for spoofing jamming suppression, these methods are almost invalid. The current published literature make the spoofing jamming detection technology as the major research direction, and rarely involve how to suppress spoofing jamming. This paper analyzes the characteristics of repeater spoofing jamming. For one and multiple of repeater spoofing jamming scenarios, beam forming and RELAX algorithm are proposed to estimate the DOA (Direction of Arrival) of spoofing jamming respectively. After detecting the DOA of spoofing jamming, GPS receiver can steer nulling to the direction of spoofing jamming and suppress spoofing jamming by constructing the projection matrix of spoofing jamming. Simulation experiments prove the correctness and the effectiveness of the two methods.

Multipath effect of signals is one of the main causes of the global positioning system positioning error. Although the differential technology can improve the positioning accuracy of navigation system. However, due to the reference station and the user's geographical location is different;Differential GPS (DGPS) system still does not eliminate multipath effects of the satellite signal. The conventional narrow correlator method can reduce positioning error. But it assumes that the bandwidth of channel is unlimited. It can not be met in practice. That is its limitations. In this paper, we consider the characteristics of GPS signal model and the multipath effect In GPS system. We introduce a least-squares iterative multipath super-resolution (LIMS) delay estimation algorithm and propose a multipath signal delay estimation algorithm based on correlation model on this basis. The algorithm takes the correlation output of received signal correlates and the local C /A code as the model, estimates the direct signal and the multipath signal delay accurately in the condition of signal delay is unknown. As can be seen from the simulation results, the multipath interference suppression algorithm we propose outperforms the traditional narrow correlator method and LIMS algorithms.
