Under the current blended learning mode, students' ability to process, organize, and integrate knowledge is insufficient, and the ability to construct a complete knowledge system for autonomous learning is slightly weak. Taking the national first-class undergraduate course “Engineering Drawing” at tianjin University of Technology as an example, this study explores and practices the teaching of online and offline hybrid courses based on knowledge graphs, and conducts a comprehensive effectiveness analysis. Practice has proven that the hybrid teaching empowered by knowledge graphs enables visualization of knowledge points and analysis of learning situations, allows for planned learning paths, intelligent resource recommendations, and can achieve targeted integration of data and teaching of key and difficult issues. It has reference significance for the construction of an open, personalized, and precise intelligent education system.

Road damage detection is particularly essential for improving road traffic safety. Existing methods do not perform well due to complex road conditions and sparse features contained in road damage. Therefore, we propose a new road damage detection network - YPLNet, which could obtain more refined multi-scale contextual features. Specifically, the network proposed in this paper is based on YOLOv5, by adding the PSA module to the backbone network, the spatial information of the feature map at multi-scale is obtained to enrich the feature space, and the long-term information dependence between channels is further constructed. In addition, in the feature fusion stage, the LCFI module is utilized to obtain contextual features under the multi-scale receptive fields, and these contextual features include rich low-level and high-level information. Our proposed network achieves a Mean-F1 Score of 0.635 in the competition. The source code and model are publicly available at https://***/hehualin-tut/YPLNet © 2022 IEEE.

As an advanced technology that integrates virtuality and reality, digital twin technology has shown a wide range of application prospects in various fields. This paper aims to explore the potential application of digital twin technology in the teaching of engineering drawing courses, to improve students' theoretical knowledge and practical ability. By combining digital twin technology with traditional engineering drawing teaching, students can carry out practical operations and simulations in a virtual environment to better understand and apply drawing concepts and principles. Besides, taking the assembly drawing of thread connection as an actual teaching case, the specific application of digital twin technology in theoretical and experimental teaching is explained, respectively. The results show that digital twin technology is conducive to improving students' interest in engineering drawing courses and training students' spatial imagination ability, which is of great significance to reforming drawing courses. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to study the internal flow state of the mixed-flow turbine, this paper takes the modified HLTZ60-LJ-233 model turbine as the research object, combines with the modeling software UG, uses the grid division software ICEM, and then imports the flow field analysis software Fluent, and the turbine full-flow flow field analysis based on the k- ω turbulence model.

Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology provides a convenient and efficient power supply solution for mobile devices. The utilization of constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) control in WPT systems proves valuable for charging battery applications. This paper presents a novel WPT system with CC and CV output characteristics, employing a switching topology. Specifically, the LCC-S and LCC-P topologies are applied and rigorously simulated. The proposed MCR-WPT system’s output characteristics in both CC and CV modes are meticulously validated using Saber software. The simulation results distinctly demonstrate the system’s capability to achieve CC and CV outputs within a varying load resistance range of 5Ω to 30Ω, thus conclusively establishing the efficacy of the topology switching technology.

With lighter weight, lower power consumption, and higher flexibility, flexible manipulators have been widely used in industrial fields. However, it is easy to produce elastic deformation, resulting in vibration. In this paper, an improved radial basis function (RBF) neural network (NN) for adaptive boundary control is proposed. The partial differential equation (PDE) model of the flexible manipulator is established, and the asymptotic stability of the system is proved by the first Lyapunov method. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed control method can eliminate the low-amplitude angular fluctuation and the high-amplitude angular velocity fluctuation. © 2024, Politechnica University of Bucharest. The eccentric effect of rotor has seriously affected on the stability and precision of the mechanism at high speed for light and flexible mechanism in industrial application. The analysis of nonlinear vibration mechanism must be completed to realize precision and stable control of elastic beam in a large overall rotation. Firstly, the slender flexible rod is assumed as Euler-Bernoulli beam. We apply the deformation theory of elastic beam to establish its kinematic constraint relationship. Its dynamic model is built with Galerkin method and Hamilton principle. Then the Lagrange method is used to establish the rotor dynamics model based on the Jeffcott rotor. The coupling part between the motor and the elastic beam is assumed to be rigidly connected, and the dynamic model of the motor-elastic beam system can be obtained. Lastly, we analyze the nonlinear vibration mechanism of the elastic beam with rotor eccentricity effect through applying the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method and the superposition principle of traveling wave. It provides an important theoretical basis for making an effective vibration suppression strategy for elastic beam. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In recent years, with the continuous development of China's hydropower projects, Pelton turbines are gradually being valued, and the focus of development has shifted from plain areas to plateau areas. Environmental impacts such as high altitude, water temperature, and high sediment content in the plateau area have caused serious interference to equipment that originally worked in a stable environment, for example, the failure of the cooperation between the parts of the turbine and the mutual seizure, the increased wear of the nozzle needle, the decrease of the flow rate and the water outlet speed of the nozzle, and the decrease of the air pressure in the plateau environment lead to the change of the flow state of the nozzle. In view of the above problems, this paper puts forward the design scheme of impulse turbine test-bed, using the method of changing specific speed to determine the basic parameters of impulse turbine unit, so as to eliminate the influence of plateau environment on the normal operation of turbine, obtain the efficiency condition of model experiment under low ambient pressure, and improve the operation efficiency and reliability of turbine unit. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing.
