In this paper,a numerical investigation into a spike-type rotating stall process is carried out considering a transonic compressor rotor(the NASA Rotor 37).Through solution of the Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)equations,the evolution process from an initially circumferentially-symmetric near-stall flow field to a stable stall condition is simulated without adding any artificial *** the near-stall operating point,periodic fluctuations are present in the overall flow of the ***,the blockage region in the channel periodically shifts from middle span to the *** fluctuating condition does not directly lead to stall,while the full-annulus calculation eventually evolves to ***,a kind of“early disturbance”feature appears in the dynamic signals,which propagates forward ahead of the rotor.

According to the requirements of ground test task of lunar sampling manipulator, a microgravity simulation system based on suspension method is designed and developed. The system is mainly composed of Position tracking system, Force compensation system, Suspension system, Posture measurement system and Integrated control system. The simulation system has completed the ground test and ground verification of lunar sampling manipulator, which has been successfully launched, and successfully completed the on-orbit mission. The microgravity simulation system of manipulator has good universality and expansibility, and can be applied to the ground test of other space manipulator products. © 2022 SPIE

Based on the theory of crystal plasticity, coupled with dislocation and lath hardening models, this paper establishes a crystal plasticity finite element model describing the high temperature creep of P92 steel. Open source software was used to generate lath models with an average size of 350nm, 650nm and 950nm to explore the effect of lath coarsening on the high-temperature creep behavior of P92 steel. The results show that the roughening of the slats increases the rate of creep deformation, resulting in a decrease in the service life of the material. Observing the slat model, it can be seen that the roughening of the slats enlarges the numerical gradient of stress and strain, and aggravates the overall plastic strain of the model. The coarsening of the slats accelerates the movement of dislocations, causing the density of movable dislocations to increase, and at the same time the shear strain amplitude of the slip system increases, thereby reducing the hardening behavior of the material. © Journal of Physics: Conference Series 2021.

Graduation project is an important integrated practice segment for undergraduate education, since the quality of undergraduate education can be directly evaluated by the quality of graduation project. Under the background of science collaborative education and engineering education accreditation, it is necessary to explore an intelligent and integrated graduation project system to train students by all sorts of engineering and research projects, thus improve students' practical ability and innovation ability. This paper first analyzed the problems of the graduation project in the major of process equipment and control engineering, then introduced a novel hierarchical graduation project system to adapt to the concept of science collaborative education and engineering education. By putting the novel graduation project system into effect, the quality of graduation project has significantly improved. © 2021 ACM.

Underwater Vehicles are very important underwater operation equipment, and a new underwater vehicle is designed in order to realize the measurement of the ship draft. The design is based on the ROV(Remote Operated Vehicle) structure, and the mobile power supply and the upper computer are mounted on the underwater vehicle body, aiming to accomplish the task of disconnecting the underwater vehicle from the cable under complex sea conditions. In this paper, the system communication and power supply scheme design, thruster arrangement, the center of gravity and floating center position design, and 3D model design are completed in turn to obtain a structural design scheme of the underwater vehicle based on the actual engineering background. Subsequently, the strength check of the overall frame was carried out based on ANSYS WORKBENCH, which proved that the material selection and structural design met the reliability requirements. Finally, the hydrodynamic characteristics of the robot were analyzed using ANSYS CFD.

Adversarial Learning Network for Recovering Rppg Signals from Low-Resolution Images for Remote Heart Rate Measurement

Remote Photoplethysmography (rPPG) is a non-contact method for measuring heart rate (HR) through facial video, which has significant research value and application potential. However, in long-distance vital sign measurement tasks, the low resolution of facial images and insufficient pixels in the facial region severely degrade the quality of the rPPG signals, leading to a sharp decline in HR accuracy. To address this issue, this paper proposes an adversarial learning network for recovering rPPG signals from low-resolution images (ALRSL-HR). First, arbitrary resolution face images are fed into multi-channel network to extract rPPG signal features capturing rich rPPG information, generating rPPG feature blocks, and temporally aggregating for richer feature representation. These features are then inputted into the backbone network to generate adversarial examples of rPPG signals of varying qualities. Finally, a two-stage adversarial loss function is employed to enable the low-quality rPPG signals to learn the periodic characteristics of high-quality rPPG signals, recover the low-quality signals, and narrow the quality gap between rPPG signals from low-resolution images. Extensive experiments were conducted in this paper to validate the effectiveness of our model on the public COHFACE, UBFC-Phys and UBFC-rPPG datasets. The results of the experiments demonstrate that the proposed ALRSL-HR model can effectively recover degraded rPPG signals from low-resolution images. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The capsule robot enters the patient’s intestinal system directly by swallowing and takes continuous images using the miniature camera unit it carries, but during its travel, its own gravity and the peristaltic movement of the intestine make the physician limited in obtaining images of the intestine and making a diagnosis. In order to solve this problem, a capsule endoscope with an embedded leg mechanism is proposed. Compared to commercially available capsule robot. This capsule robot can easily move through the intestine autonomously by means of the relationship between the leg, the screw nut and the linkage, enabling forward, backward and stationary functions. The capsule robot has a diameter of 14 mm, a length of 30 mm and a maximum diameter of 26.66 mm with the legs spread out. The hollow space is allocated to include basic endoscopic components such as a miniature camera and a rotating motor. A series of tests, including in vitro tests, were carried out to test the feasibility of the leg mechanism of this capsule robot. Based on the results of the experiments, the proposed leg mechanism can effectively act on the Micro-capsule endoscope, and is able to move effectively through the intestine.

This study presents a novel microwave humidity sensor that utilizes a complementary interdigital capacitor resonator (CIDCR), an advanced design derived from the traditional complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) structure. The CIDCR design enhances the sensor's performance by concentrating the electric field in a more compact region, leading to improved sensitivity and miniaturization. The sensor is coated with a composite film of chitosan (CS) and polyacrylamide-glycerol (PAMG), combining the high moisture sensitivity of PAMG with the stability of CS. The CIDCR-based sensor demonstrates superior performance, including high sensitivity, a broad detection range, rapid response/recovery times, and excellent long-term stability. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations further elucidate the moisture-sensitive mechanisms at the molecular level, highlighting the role of hydrogen bonding in the composite film. Application tests confirm the sensor's potential for use in respiratory monitoring, non-contact sensing, and health monitoring, showcasing the advantages of the CIDCR structure in achieving enhanced humidity sensing capabilities. © 2024, The Authors. Elucidating the Rate Limitation of Lithium-Ion Batteries Under Different Charging Conditions Through Polarization Analysis

The charging performance of lithium-ion batteries is significantly affected by the polarization effect, which leads to increased resistance and prolonged charging time. this paper combines experimental testing with numerical simulation to qualitatively and quantitatively investigate the polarization effects under different charging conditions. The results indicate that the proportions of positive and negative polarization to cell polarization are comparable and basically constant with variations in the charging rate. The polarization voltages of different categories within the electrode are positively correlated with the charging rate. At high charging rates, electrochemical polarization accounts for the majority, followed by solid-phase and liquid-phase concentration polarization, while solid-phase and liquid-phase ohmic polarization is relatively negligible. On the other hand, the cell polarization exhibits a non-linear trend with temperature. The lower the temperature, the greater the proportion of negative polarization, while positive polarization is insensitive to temperature. At low temperature charging, the solid-phase concentration polarization of the negative electrode accounts for the majority of electrode polarization, which can be attributed to the larger lithium ion concentration gradient induced by the sluggish diffusion of ions in the active material. In-depth investigation of the polarization effect will provide guidance for achieving more efficient charging under different operating conditions. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
