Hopf bifurcation frequently leads to periodic oscillations and even instability in nonlinear power systems. For Hopf bifurcation at equilibrium point in wind power systems, From the view of the structural stability, the static var compensator control effect on the Hopf bifurcation is analyzed, By tracking Hopf bifurcation point and two-parameter Hopf bifurcation boundary, The influence of the reactive power parameters of wind farms and the static var compensator parameters on dynamic voltage stability is analyzed. The study shows that static var compensator improves bus voltage stability and strengthens the power system equilibrium point stability by adjusting the local system's structural parameters, which can delay the Hopf bifurcation and improve the dynamic voltage stability of the nonlinear power system, this result is available for reference to voltage stability control of wind power systems.

Much research has been done on analyzing relationship between ERP (Event Related Potential) and linguistic, but did little job on Chinese. Here, participants were equally divided into two groups. Group A was in a cold environment, and group B was in tired condition. Recording ERP signal when participants were repeated Chinese sentence. From the work, we found that the amplitude of ERP components (N200, N400, P600) had a big change when participants were repeated different Chinese sentence of feeling. Using MATLAB to set a specific digital filter to remove the artifacts, then analyzing the effective EEG signals by EEGLAB.

The kernel of stereo vision system is stereo matching. In this paper proposed, an efficient image matching algorithm based on Speed Up Robust Features (SURF). Compared with traditional methods, this approach has enormous advantages of less computations and short time-consuming. The approach uses SURF algorithm to extract feature points. The feature descriptor of the approach is determined by Haar wavelet. The RANdom SAmple Consensus (RANSAC) algorithm is used to eliminate the false matches and wrong match point. The experimental results show that the approach is robust and has fast matching speed. That makes an important application field of 3D reconstruction.

In this work, a coupled Jansen and Rit neural mass model with two neuron populations were proposed, which was studied further by using the two-parameter bifurcation analysis. The numerical analysis shows that the coupled Jansen and Rit neural mass model can generate a type of multi-frequency rhythms, which are closer proximity to real EEG rhythms. Furthermore, due to the combined effect of two parameters bifurcations, more codimension two bifurcations behaviours on equilibriums and cycles were discovered, which can generate more complex dynamics behaviours. Finally, the validity of the proposed modelling method was verified by the comparative analysis between the simulation EEG rhythms and real EEG rhythms, verified the validity of this system.

Robotisation of forestry harvesting in China has the potential to achieve great productivity benefits. The paper presents a method which is to recognize tree trunks based on BP neural network. Firstly, the color marks and the training sample data of neutral network have been extracted. Then, the neutral network model is set up. The collecting sample data is used to train the neutral network and get feasible network weighted value. At last, the outline of the trunk is identified by Hough Transforms. We evaluate the method can satisfy the need to recognize the trunk properly by the simulating image based on the BP neutral network. This method lays a strong foundation for further research on autonomous operation of forestry harvesting robots in steep terrain.

In this paper, a novel over-constrained three degree-of-freedom (DOF) spatial parallel manipulator (SPM) is proposed. The architecture of the SPM is comprised of a moving platform attached to a base through two revolute- prismatic-universal jointed serial linkages and one spherical-prismatic-revolute jointed serial linkage. The prismatic joints are considered to be actively actuated. Kinematics and dynamics of the SPM are studied systematically. Firstly, both of the inverse and forward displacements are derived by analytic formulae. Then, the velocities and the accelerations of the moving platform and each limb are obtained. Finally, dynamics of the mechanism is derived based on the principal of the virtual work. The results are illustrated by numerical examples.

An Active Disturbance Rejection based solution is proposed for the position control of a standard inverted pendulum system, demonstrating a largely model independent design that is distinctly different from existing model-based designs from classical as well as modern controltheory. The quality of the control loop is further improved with a unique double disturbance observer design, which rejects independently the disturbance and uncertainty in both the pendulum itself and the cart that carries it. This proposed approach offers a promising and practical solution because it's intuitive to understand and easy to tune, in addition to its strong performance and effectiveness shown in both simulation study and real time experimentation.
