A supertwisting sliding mode repetitive control method is proposed in this paper. It mainly focus on how to improve the system performance of supertwisting sliding mode control under periodic disturbance. By utilizing the advantages of both supertwisting sliding mode control and repetitive control, a method that combines them is presented. The system stability is proved. Simulation results in a hydraulic system demonstrate that the proposed method realize an accurate position tracking. At the same time, the gains in controller only need to be some small constants. Compare with adaptive-gain supertwisting sliding mode method, the gains would not need to increase continuously to deal with the disturbance, which make the proposed method have more applicability in practice.

Solar Photovoltaic(PV) energy conversion system has drawn the tremendous attention of researchers in the past recent years. The concern related to global energy crisis and climate change threats from conventional sources of energy leads to look for alternate sources of energy. Solar energy is seen as a potential alternate source of energy as it is available globally in abundant. To develop an efficient and stable solar PV energy conversion various analysis are done by the researchers. It is analyzed at various facets like PV module characteristic, Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT) algorithm, Islanding Detection methods, Inverter etc. This paper present an overview of the research going on in this area, focused on aspects mentioned above. This overview may be useful for further investigation to improve the system.
