This paper, the mechanism of valve electric actuator failures is analyzed, and the fault diagnosis method based on principle component analysis (PCA) and support vector machines (SVM) is put forward. In order to reduce the dimension of feature signals, the fault diagnosis method uses PCA to extract fault feature signals. And a multi-class Support Vector Machine classifier is constructed to develop the model of failure diagnosis. The model can identify and detect the actuator's constant gain fault, the constant deviation fault and the dead zone fault. The simulation experiment result verified its feasibility and validity. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.

The article proposed a new method for implementing linear phase FIR filter based on FPGA. For the key to implementing the FIR filter on FPGA-multiply-add operation, a parallel distributed algorithm was presented, which is based on LUT. The designed file was described with VHDL and realized on Altera's field programmable gate array (FPGA), giving the design method. The experimental results indicated that the system can run stably at 120MHz or more, which can meet the requirements of signal processing for real-time. © (2012) trans tech publications, switzerland.

Focusing on solving the problem that the traditional super-loops can not meet the requirement of Modern control systems no matter on resource management and system control, this paper introduces a way to construct an Embedded System Development Platform, combining the strength of the S3C2440A, a high-performance 32 bits ARM9 MCU and μC/OS-Π, a real time operation system(RTOS)[1]. The control strategy of grid-connected inverter has always been a core question of generating systems. This paper analyzed three kinds of ways pf inverter's output current based on the current control mode. Those are current hysteretic comparison control method, timing control of current instantaneous comparison method and the triangle wave comparison control method of timing tracking current. And all of three were simulated by MATLAB/Simulink. It turned out to be that the three methods for grid-connected inverter have good grid effect. Each of them has their advantages and disadvantages in grid control strategy. All of them will provide theoretical basis for further research.

The main purpose of the Joint Detection (JD) techniques is an accurately estimating the user's signal, the difficulty lies in the system matrix inversion, so to find the fast inversion algorithms is the main key to make better the JD algorithms. This paper, it studies the new improved MMSE-BLE algorithm based block FFT, and through simulation that test and verify the algorithm's performance. The improved fast algorithm higher operational efficiency, the improved fast algorithm reduces the computing magnitude and the computational complexity and better improving the system performances. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.

Interference analysis of TD-SCDMA system and CDMA2000 system

In this paper, the feasibility of co-channel coexistence of Time Division- Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) and Code Division Multiple Access 2000 (CDMA2000) systems operating in a macro cell environment is investigated. The deterministic analysis and simulation method are used to evaluate the performance compromising of both systems. Based on a more efficient calculation scheme, a novel deterministic equation is proposed and used to provide a better interpretation of the relationship between aggressor and victim in the interference system. The evaluation and simulation results show consistency with the corresponding experiment results. Furthermore, the interference characteristics of Omni-antenna and smart antenna in TD-SCDMA and CDMA2000 are compared, providing an important guideline to reduce the interference of two systems. © 2012 Academy Publisher.

The boiler's drum water level is a material balance indicator between which are the output of steam and water supply. It is a parameter of both the security and the quality. Some questions in the existing automatic control system of the boiler of water level are the low-control accuracy, the poor dynamic characteristics, the weak anti-interference ability and the high energy expenditure, etc. This article describes a new way of boiler of water level of automatic control system for the robustness. We design a new measuring devices of drum water level measuring devices and constitute a single closed-loop control system combined with the technology of frequency conversion. We also give a practical example to illustrate the its actual effect. © 2011 IEEE.

According to the problem of the large calculated quantity and unavailable of multiple sources tracking in real time in the traditional DOA estimation algorithm which is disabled when locating sources that are greater than the number of array elements number, a new direction of arrival estimation algorithm based on the radial basis function neural networks in smart antenna is proposed in this paper to solve the problem. The proposed neural multiple-source tracking (N-MUST) algorithm is based on architecture of a family of radial basis function neural networks (RBFNN) to perform both detection and direction of arrival estimation. The model of neural network in direction of arrival estimation is created and trained in this paper. Simulation results which compared the traditional algorithm and the new one are indicated that the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm based on the radial basis function neural networks implement multiple-source tracking exactly and fast. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
