One of the fundamental tasks for security and economical operation of smart grid is to accommodate every kinds of renewable green *** future wind speed prediction by spatial correlation is a new approach to improve the reliability and accuracy of wind power *** the future local wind speed prediction,it is theoretically deduced by the causes of wind in dynamic meteorology and characteristics of binary linear regression in mathematical statistics:although the pressure gradient force is the primary force of wind,the existence of measurement errors makes that the upstream wind speed is the primary influencing factor where the spatial distance is short;both the pressure gradient force and the upstream wind speed are used where the spatial distance becomes *** a case study,to improve the reliability and accuracy of wind power forecasting during monsoons in east and southeast coastal region of China,the correlation numerical analyses and regression predictions show that about 600 km is the distance to change influencing *** partial least squares regression,support vector regression,long short-term memory,and deep belief network are employed to the regression predictions.A regional spatial correlation prediction network is suggested to be establish in this *** for the wind speed predictions of monsoons within lead timelO hours,one hour lead time increasing makes about 0.15 m/s increasing of the root mean square error.

Coexisting fast–slow dendritic traveling waves in a 3D-array electric field coupled neuronal network

Coexistence of fast and slow traveling waves without synaptic transmission has been found in hhhippocampal tissues,which is closely related to both normal brain activity and abnormal neural activity such as epileptic discharge. However, the propagation mechanism behind this coexistence phenomenon remains unclear. In this paper, a three-dimensional electric field coupled hippocampal neural network is established to investigate generation of coexisting spontaneous fast and slow traveling waves. This model captures two types of dendritic traveling waves propagating in both transverse and longitude directions: the N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA)-dependent wave with a speed of about 0.1 m/s and the Ca-dependent wave with a speed of about 0.009 m/s. These traveling waves are synaptic-independent and could be conducted only by the electric fields generated by neighboring neurons, which are basically consistent with the in vitro data measured experiments. It is also found that the slow Ca wave could trigger generation of fast NMDA waves in the propagation path of slow waves whereas fast NMDA waves cannot affect the propagation of slow Ca waves. These results suggest that dendritic Ca waves could acted as the source of the coexistence fast and slow waves. Furthermore, we also confirm the impact of cellular spacing heterogeneity on the onset of coexisting fast and slow waves. The local region with decreasing distances among neighbor neurons is more liable to promote the onset of spontaneous slow waves which, as sources, excite propagation of fast waves. These modeling studies provide possible biophysical mechanisms underlying the neural dynamics of spontaneous traveling waves in brain tissues.

The flow measurement under the conditions of gas-liquid two-phase flow is an urgent problem to be solved. Coriolis mass flowmeters are introduced into the two-phase flow measurement due to its superior performance in single-phase flow measurement. Due to the large error in the two-phase flow measurement using Coriolis mass flowmeters, this paper uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) based on the PSO-grid search method and Back Propagation - Artificial Neural Network (BP-ANN) based on PSO algorithm to model the liquid mass flowrate correction and the gas volume fraction (GVF) prediction respectively. Besides, this paper employs the backward stepwise selection method combined with the correlation analysis to select the appropriate input variables. Two indicators, accuracy and generalization ability, are used to evaluate the quality of the model. According to the experimental results, the appropriate model is selected, and the effectiveness of the model is verified. Finally based on the Baker flow regime map, the reason why a better model can be obtained from the training set after excluding some flow points is analyzed. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Simultaneous quantification of trace heavy metals in mushrooms using a three-dimensional highly reduced graphene oxide/Fe3O4 nanocomposite-based electrochemical sensor

The accumulation of heavy metals in mushrooms has presented a significant risk to human health， underscoring the importance of devising a portable and cost-effective method for detecting heavy metals. Thus， we have developed an electrochemical sensor based on 3-dimensional highly reduced graphene oxide （3D-HRGO） in conjunction with Fe3O4nanoparticles， enabling the simultaneous quantification of Cd2+， Pb2+， Cu2+， and Hg2+. The 3D-HRGO/Fe3O4nano-particles material prepared in this study was characterized and confirmed by multiple techniques， then dispersed in a simple and environmental dispersant， consist of 75% ethanol and 0.1% Nafion， and coating on a glass carbon electrode （GCE） to preparing a 3D-HRGO/Fe3O4/GCE sensor. The limit of detection （LOD） of 3D-HRGO/Fe3O4/GCE sensor for Cd2+， Pb2+， Cu2+， and Hg2+in simultaneous detection were 0.2 μg/L， 0.6 μg/L， 0.6 μg/L， and 0.9 μg/L， respectively. The sensor demonstrates exceptional stability， reproducibility， anti-interference， and recovery rate. Furthermore， the electrochemical sensor was employed to detect heavy metals in actual mushrooms and validated through conventional methodologies. This study represents the pioneering utilization of 3D-HRGO/Fe3O4as a foundational material for an electrochemical sensor capable of simultaneous detection of multiple metals， thereby advancing the progress of on-site and expeditious detection techniques.

Identification of the type of combustion-supporting agents (CSAs) by an electronic nose (e-nose) is severely limited due to the absence of untested gas concentration in the e-nose training set. In order to solve this problem, this study designs an e-nose for classifying four CSAs (Diesel, Gasoline, Ethanol and Thinner), and builds cross-concentrations data set. This study uses Gramian Angular Field method that converts one-dimensional time series data to two-dimensional data, and proposes an algorithm named the Multi-Branch Feature Fusion Network (M-BFFNet). This algorithm passes the one-dimensional and two-dimensional data through two different networks and obtains two types of features. First, the algorithm can strength the one-dimensional raw data, integrate the advantages of different networks, and fuse the characteristics of different networks. Second, it can learn the characteristics of volatile gas with specific concentrations to identify the unknown concentrations. Last, a feature fusion module is designed to improve the algorithm ability of learning odor fingerprint. In order to verify the superiority of the algorithm, this study tests the recognition performance of the e-nose based systems and compares the proposed M-BFFNet with traditional algorithms. The results show that the proposed M-BFFNet improves the identification accuracy compared to other algorithms. According to the analysis of this work, the M-BFFNet can be used to identify CSAs with unknown concentrations. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this paper various runaway criteria for batch reactors (BRs) and semi-batch reactors (SBRs) have been used and compared to study the boundaries of different thermal behaviors for the acetic anhydride hydrolysis reaction with the solvent of acetic acid carried out in BRs and SBRs. It is shown that the majority of criteria for BRs could give relatively precise results, but the remaining minority are less accurate due to they all have some specific assumptions. Besides, the simulated results indicated that all the criteria for SBRs could accurately identify the transition point from TR to QFS behaviors in spite of that they give slight different results of transition point corresponding to NI and TR behaviors. The results can give an effective instruction for selection and usage of runaway criteria, especially in terms of effectiveness and applicability, to easily identify thermal behaviors in chemical industry. © 2022 The Institution of Chemical Engineers
