With fast development of Cyber Physical System, the variety and volume of data generated from different edge servers are fairly considerable. Mining and exploiting the data would definitely bring huge advantages. However, there are two major issues exposed in the process. First, utilizing the data with high efficiency is challenging in edge computing environment. Second, data from multiple edge servers often contain sensitive information such as user preferences, which will give rise to privacy breach risks when using the data. Locality-Sensitive Hashing and amplified technology are utilized for dealing with two problems. In this paper, we propose a novel privacy-protection approach named SRchain-LSH in edge computing environment which is based on amplified Locality-Sensitive Hashing technique. In order to verify high accuracy and efficiency of our proposal, large sets of experiments are conducted. According to experimental results, our proposal shows better performance than those of comparative methods in terms of MAE , RMSE and time costs. For our method, the best value of MAE is about 0.41 and time cost is about 0.1 seconds, which are more accurate and efficient than comparative methods. © 2022 IEEE.

Traffic speed prediction is vital for intelligent transportation systems. However, most existing methods focus on costly static sensors. In contrast, utilizing GPS devices from vehicles as mobile sensors offers a cost-effective means to gather dynamic traffic data. Despite the presence of historical trajectory data, mobile sensor-based traffic prediction remains under-explored. Existing methods often treat trajectories as substitutes for static sensors, missing the full utilization of the spatial-temporal signals within the complete trajectory set. To address this, we propose TrajHGT, a novel trajectory set empowered hypergraph transformer model that captures trafficrelated spatial-temporal features through adaptive attention and fusion mechanisms in both the trajectory hypergraph space and the road graph space. Real dataset experiments demonstrate the superiority of TrajHGT.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a proven approach for addressing the irrational thought patterns associated with mental health disorders, but its effectiveness relies on accurately identifying cognitive pathways to provide targeted treatment. In today's digital age, individuals often express negative emotions on social media, where they may reveal cognitive distortions, and in severe cases, exhibit suicidal tendencies. However, there is a significant gap in methodologies designed to analyze these cognitive pathways, which could be critical for psychotherapists aiming to deliver timely and effective interventions in online environments. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework leveraging acceptance, commitment and data augmentation to categorize and address both textual and visual content as positive or negative. Specifically, the system employs BERT, RoBERTa for Sentiment Analysis and T5, PEGASUS for Text Summarization, mT5 for Text Translation in Multiple Languages focusing on detecting negative emotions and cognitive distortions within social media data. While existing models are primarily designed to identify negative thoughts, the proposed system goes beyond this by predicting additional negative side effects and other potential mental health disorders likes Phobias, Eating Disorders. This enhancement allows for a more comprehensive understanding and intervention strategy, offering psychotherapists a powerful tool for early detection and treatment of various psychological issues.

Integrated Non-Terrestrial and Terrestrial Networks (NTN-TN) have been emerging as a promising architecture to facilitate state sensing, computation migration, and privacy protection for terrestrial users, where both low, medium and geostationary orbit satellites collaboratively support various tasks and allocate resources effectively. Nevertheless, an integration of sensing, computation, and artificial intelligence (AI) in dynamic NTN-TNs has certain challenges in achieving high-efficient task offloading and guaranteeing robust privacy protection. To address these issues, we introduce an intelligent NTN-TN framework, focusing on sensing, computation migration, and privacy protection. Furthermore, we develop a versatile and scalable experimental platform for NTN-TNs to validate related network functions. Simulation results show that the proposed framework reduces network latency compared with advanced benchmarks. Finally, we present potential research directions and innovative solutions in future NTN-TNs. © 2024 IEEE.

Due to the rapid propagation characteristic of the Coronavirus(COVID-19)disease,manual diagnostic methods cannot handle the large number of infected individuals to prevent the spread of ***,new automated diagnostic methods have been brought on board,particularly methods based on artificial intelligence using different medical data such as X-ray *** imaging,for example,produces several image types that can be processed and analyzed by machine and deep learning methods.X-ray imaging materials widely exist in most hospitals and health institutes since they are affordable compared to other imaging *** this paper,we propose a novel Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)model(COV2Net)that can detect COVID-19 virus by analyzing the X-ray images of suspected *** model is trained on a dataset containing thousands of X-ray images collected from different *** model was tested and evaluated on an independent *** order to approve the performance of the proposed model,three CNN models namely Mobile-Net,Residential Energy Services Network(Res-Net),and Visual Geometry Group 16(VGG-16)have been implemented using transfer learning *** experiment consists of a multi-label classification task based on X-ray images for normal patients,patients infected by COVID-19 virus and other patients infected with *** proposed model is empowered with Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM)and Grad-Cam++techniques for a visual explanation and methodology debugging *** finding results show that the proposed model COV2Net outperforms the state-of-the-art methods.

Chord prediction plays a key role in the advancement of musical technological innovations, such as automatic music transcription, real-time music tutoring, and intelligent composition tools. Accurate chord prediction can assist musicians, educators, and developers in constructing tools that help in learning, playing, and composing music. Background noise and audio distortions may have an impact on chord prediction accuracy, particularly in real-world situations. Chords can have distinct voicings or finger positions on the guitar, resulting in slight variations in audio representation. This study focuses on the classification of guitar chords using techniques of deep learning. There are eight major and minor guitar chords in the dataset. They have been turned into spectrograms, chromagrams, and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) so that features can be extracted. Various deep learning architectures, including CNN, ResNet50, AlexNet, and VGG, were employed to classify the chords. Experimental results demonstrated that the spectrogram-based AlexNet model outperforms others, achieving good accuracy and robustness in chord classification. The proposed study demonstrates the efficiency of spectrograms and advanced deep learning models for audio signal processing in music applications. By automating chord detection, this study provides beneficial resources for music learners as well as educators, enabling more efficient learning and real-time feedback during practice sessions. © (2025), (science and information Organization). Any-Angle Routing Algorithm for Microfluidic Biochips Driven by Flow Path

Continuous-flow microfluidic biochips (CFMBs) have become a hot research topic in recent years due to their ability to perform biochemical assays automatically and efficiently. For the first time, PathDriver+ takes the requirements of the actual fluid transportation into account in the design process of CFMBs and implements the actual fluid transport and removal, and plans separate flow paths for each transport task, which have been neglected in previous work. However, PathDriver+ does not take full advantage of the flexibility of CFMBs routing because it only considers the optimization of flow channel length for the global routing in the mesh model, except for the detailed routing. In addition, PathDriver+ only considers the X architecture, while the existing work shows that the any-angle routing can utilize the routing resources more efficiently and shorten the flow channel length. To address the above issues, we propose a flow path-driven arbitrary angle routing algorithm, which can improve the utilization of routing resources and reduce the flow channel length while considering the actual fluid transportation requirements. The proposed algorithm constructs a search graph based on constrained Delaunay triangulation to improve the search efficiency of routing solutions while ensuring the routing quality. Then, a Dijkstra-based flow path routing method is used on the constructed search graph to generate a routing result with a short channel length quickly. In addition, in the routing process, channel reuse strategy and intersection optimization strategy are proposed for the flow path reuse and intersection number optimization problems, respectively, to further improve the quality of routing results. The experimental results show that compared with the latest work PathDriver+, the length of channels, the number of ports used, and the number of channel intersections are significantly reduced by 33.21%, 11.04%, and 44.79%, respectively, and the channel reuse rate is i

Control Logic Routing for Continuous-Flow Microfluidic Biochips Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning

With the advancement of electronic design automation, continuous-flow microfluidic biochips have become one of the most promising platforms for biochemical experiments. This chip manipulates fluid samples in milliliters or nanoliters by utilizing internal microvalves and microchannels, and thus automatically performs basic biochemical experiments, such as mixing and detection. To achieve the correct bioassay function, the microvalves deployed inside the chip are usually managed by a multiplexer-based control logic, and valves receive control signals from a core input through the control channel for accurate switching. Since biochemical reactions typically require high sensitivity, the length of control paths connecting each valve needs to be reduced to ensure immediate signal propagation, and thus to reduce the signal propagation delay. In addition, to reduce the fabrication cost of chips, a vital issue to be addressed in the logic architecture design is how to effectively reduce the total channel length within the control logic. To address the above issues, we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based control logic routing algorithm to minimize the signal propagation delay and total control channel length, thereby automatically constructing an efficient control channel network. The algorithm employs the dueling deep Q-network architecture as the agent of the deep reinforcement learning framework to evaluate the tradeoff between signal propagation delay and total channel length. Besides, the diagonal channel routing is implemented for the first time for control logic, thus fundamentally improving the efficiency of valve switching operations and reducing the fabrication cost of the chip. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively construct a high-performance and low-cost control logic architecture. © 2025 science Press. All rights reserved.

Aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) performs fine-grained analysis on text to determine a specific aspect category and a sentiment polarity. Recently, machine learning models have played a key role in ABSA tasks. In particular, transformer-based pre-trained models have achieved promising results in natural language processing tasks. Therefore, we propose a permutation based XLNet fine-tuning model for aspect category detection and sentiment polarity detection. Our model learns bidirectional contexts via positional encoding and factorization order. We evaluate the proposed permutation language model on three ABSA datasets, namely, SentiHood, SemEval 2015, and SemEval 2016. Specifically, we studied the ABSA tasks in a constrained system with a multi-class environment. Our result indicates that the proposed permutation language model achieves a better result.

Phishing attacks have emerged as a major problem in the digital world due to a rising trend in their frequency. While various approaches have been developed to detect and prevent phishing attacks, a definitive solution to the problem has yet to be discovered. This study discusses automated anti-phishing systems while analyzing and comparing various anti-phishing strategies using exploratory research. Traditional, machine learning, and deep learning-based anti-phishing systems are discussed in the article. The study highlights the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based systems, particularly utilizing methods such as Convolutional Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and Recurrent Neural Networks. These AI-based approaches dominate the current trend in the field. This study could potentially be helpful for researchers who wish to delve deeper into the topic of automated phishing detection and prevention systems with a comprehensive review. It is advised to carry out further research to investigate the strengths and limitations of different methods and algorithms used in automated anti-phishing systems to understand their performance and effectiveness better. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
