To the high-precision adjustment of the source of electromagnetic radiation in the geostationary orbit

The paper studies a multivariate nonlinear regression-tensor model in the substantiation of necessary and sufficient conditions of the optimal multifactorial process of precision calibration of the parameters of the electromagnetic radiation source in the geostationary orbit (for example, satellite of system GLONASS). The paper proposes a robust-adaptive strategy of a posteriori formation of the target functional of the electromagnetic observability of weighted distribution signal in a fixed unit of fixed ground points on the basis of observations of this signal, executed with an error. © 2018 by Begell House Inc.

Investigation of the influence of control forces on the stability of a satellite with a gravitational stabilizer by means of computer algebra

The problem of the influence of forces on stability with respect to equilibrium of satellite with a controlled gravitational stabilizer on the circular orbit is researched. In space of the entered parameters the domains with various degrees of instability by Poincare are found. Assuming that the potential system is unstable, the issues of the possibility of its stabilization up to asymptotic stability are considered. The parametric analysis of the obtained inequalities is carried out with the help of mathematica built-in tools for symbolic-numerical modelling. © 2018 by Begell House Inc.

Inversion Formulas by the Use of Bessel Beams of Integer and Fractional Orders

A major application of the inversion methods is imaging all types of structural, physical, chemical and biological features of matter. The term vortex beam refers to a beam of electromagnetic radiation, electrons, photons or otherwise - whose phase changes in corkscrew-like manner along the direction of propagation. The paper is devoted to the use of scalar Bessel beams of integer and fractional modes for the reconstruction of scattering potential. In practical applications one naturally deals with Bessel beams truncated in the radial direction. The inversion formula for truncated Bessel beams is also obtained. Instead of the conventional Fourier diffraction theorem (Kak in Principles of computerized tomographic imaging, SIAm, New York, 2001), the relations connecting the scattering field and the scattering potential in the Fourier space are obtained in the explicit form. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature India Private Limited 2024.

Abstract: The paper considers the use of the graphical formalism of event trees when creating prototypes of knowledge bases for intelligent systems. Here, the knowledge is represented in a declarative form as logical rules describing the relationship between external signs of a malfunction, possible causes, and operations for their localization and elimination. The previously developed technology of prototyping the rule-based expert systems, implementing the principles of visual programming and model transformations, is used as a methodological basis. Its application is described in the creation of knowledge bases for aviation diagnostics, including the main models and stages, an example is given. Algorithms and software were developed in the form of a specialized event tree editor and an extension module for Personal Knowledge Base Designer. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2023.

Currently, the processing of scientific data in astroparticle physics is based on various distributed technologies, the most common of which are Grid and cloud computing. The most frequently discussed approaches are focused on large and even very arge scientific experiments, such as Cherenkov Telescope Array. We, by contrast, offer a solution designed for small to medium experiments such as TAIGA. In such experiments, as a rule, historically developed specific data processing methods and specialized software are used. We have specifically designed a distributed (cloud) data storage for astroparticle physics data collaboration in medium-sized experiments. In this article, we discuss the current state of our work using the example of the TAIGA and CASCADE experiments. A feature of our approach is that we provide our users with scientific data in the form to which they are accustomed to in everyday work on local resources. © 2020 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

We present a cloud storage for collaborations of small and medium-sized experiments in the field of particle astrophysics. This storage provides a unified interface for accessing data from different experiments. In this article, we will focus on the capabilities of the storage for processing user requests for data, as well as on some technical details of the implementation of data selection. We have deployed a working prototype of the storage. Currently the prototype integrates data from such astrophysical experiments as TAIGA and KASCADE. As a result, users of the respective collaborations have the opportunity to collect scientific data from different experiments seamlessly within one request to conduct joint data analysis. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Currently, a number of experimental facilities for astrophysics of cosmic rays are being built and are already operating in the world. These installations produce large amounts of data that need to be collected, processed, and analyzed. Since many organizations around the world are involved in experimental collaboration, it is necessary to organize distributed data management and processing. moreover, the widespread use of multi-messenger approach based on the coordinated observation, interpretation and analysis of disparate signals created by different astrophysical processes makes this problem much more urgent and complex. To meet a similar challenge in high energy physics, a WLCG grid was deployed as part of the LHC project. This solution, on the one hand, showed high efficiency, and, on the other hand, it turned out to be a rather heavy solution that requires high administrative costs, highly qualified staff and a very homogeneous environment on which applications operate. The paper considers a distributed data storage, called AstroDS, which was developed for middle-size astrophysical experiments. The storage currently integrates the data of the KASCADE and TAIGA experiments;in the future, the number of supported experiments will be increased. The main ideas and approaches used in the development of this storage are as follows: unification of access to local storages without changing their internal structure;data transfer only at the moment of actual access to them;search for the requested data using metadata and aggregation of the search results into a new collection available to the user. A distinguishing feature of the system is its focus on storing of both raw data and primary processed data, for example, data after calibration, using the Write-One-Read-many method.
