Benefitting from the breakthrough of wireless power transfer technology, the lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) can be significantly prolonged by scheduling a mobile charger (MC) to charge sensors. Compared with omnidirectional charging, the MC equipped with directional antenna can concentrate energy in the intended direction, making charging more efficient. However, all prior arts ignore the considerable energy leakage behind the directional antenna (i.e., back lobe), resulting in energy wasted in vain. To address this issue, we study a fundamental problem of how to utilize the neglected back lobe and schedule the directional MC efficiently. Towards this end, we first build and verify a directional charging model considering both main and back lobes. Then, we focus on jointly optimizing the number of dead sensors and energy usage effectiveness. We achieve these by introducing a scheduling scheme that utilizes both main and back lobes to charge multiple sensors simultaneously. Finally, extensive simulations and field experiments demonstrate that our scheme reduces the number of dead sensors by 49.5% and increases the energy usage effectiveness by 10.2% on average as compared with existing algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

With emergence of online virtual reality applications, the 3D data of virtual scenes are available to heterogeneous end user devices with relatively limited computing power, resolution and transmission rate. Still, many virtual scenes created by expert developers are composed of complex 3D data models with huge number of geometry primitives and appearence elements. This complexity can cause a lot of problems when the scenes are deployed on the limited access devices. To address this issue, we propose a virtual scene adaptation framework which is able to perform the transformation of given complex 3D model into new forms with less geometric and appearance data. Through the framework, complex virtual scenes are connected with real-world semantics and are preprocessed with selected optimization strategies based on the semantic features matching client devices' capabilities before deployment.

The aim of this paper is to compare the safety and quality among farm product cold chain companies. Equipment and facility, logistics environment, personnel quality and process are used to establish the comprehensive index system. Then, because of the uncertainty and fuzziness, a risk prioritization model of farm product cold chain quality and safety based on intuitionistic triangular fuzzy TOPSIS was constructed. A case example was presented to demonstrate the practicality of proposed approach.

The rich Web information makes the Web users to be drowned in the huge Web data. This paper proposes a new navigation approach termed WUMVPRSM (Web Usage Mining based on Variable Precision Rough Set Model) for Web users browsing a website. First, Log training data sets are reduced using attribute reduction module by rough set. And then, a reduced Log data set is trained to create a rough classifier. The final classification result for identifying Web user is obtained according to rough decision rules. Simulation results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed approaches. © 2011 IEEE.

When unlabeled data is selected for updating classifier, it is easy to introduce noise or unreliable data. In this paper, a semi-supervised collaboration-training based on genetic algorithm (SCGA) is proposed. This algorithm uses optimization function of genetic algorithm to help collaboration-training algorithm to select valuable unlabeled data. Experiments on UCI datasets prove that the algorithm is useful for updating classifiers effectively and can prevent the introduction of noise.

This paper studies a Markovian queue with multiple working vacations and controlled vacation interruption. If there are at least N customers waiting upon completion of a service at a lower rate, the vacation is interrupted and the server returns to the system to resume the normal working level. Otherwise, the server continues the vacation until the system is non-empty after a vacation ends or there are at least N customers after a service ends. Moreover, the variable arrival rate of the customers is taken into account. Under such assumptions, by using the quasi-birth-and-death process, the matrix-geometric method and the difference equation theory, the steady-state queue length distribution along with various performance measures are derived. Additionally, under a certain cost structure, the optimal threshold N∗ that minimizes the long-run expected cost function per unit time is numerically determined. © 2015, Association for Scientific Research. In the domain of conventional image style transfer, remarkable progress has been achieved; nonetheless, certain issues persist. A large grayscale image with only one channel of brightness information lacks diverse color and texture features. This limits the variety in style transformation, resulting in unsatisfactory diversity of effects. To overcome this challenge, the present study introduces an enhanced multi-style transfer approach founded upon the VGG network. To achieve a greater variety of style transfers for single-channel grayscale images. This is accomplished by introducing a dual VGG network architecture coupled with the incorporation of the Gram matrix concept. Additionally, a multi-style fusion module is introduced to merge various style transfers for single-channel grayscale images. The experimental outcomes unequivocally demonstrate that the proposed approach effectively accomplishes manifold style transfers within single-channel grayscale images. Furthermore, apart from retaining the inherent content attributes, it bestows images with fresh visual allure. In comparison to conventional methods, the approach showcased in this study achieves significant advancements in both the quality and diversity of style transfer. Consequently, this innovative approach not only expands the scope of image style transfer applications but also paves the way for a novel potential in the realm of style transformation for single-channel grayscale images.

In this paper, we present a novel method for activity analysis in outdoor environment. Difficulties, such as low resolution, shadows, long distances, and segmentation problems, usually exist in outdoor environment. To deal with these difficulties, the activity width sequence image which maintains 3D features using 2D representation is exploited to represent the silhouette structure information of each frame and dynamic properties of activity. The activity width vectors are converted to the gray value successively according to the order in activity sequence and the gray image is formed in spatio-temporal space. We regard the activity width sequence image as the texture and choose Local Binary Patterns which is a powerful texture extraction operator to analyze the spatio-temporal pattern. The method is simple and effective. We test our method based on the outdoor database and the results are encouraging.

Immersive Experience of Movie Scenes Based on Convolutional Neural Network

This paper discusses how to use virtual reality (VR) and computer aided design (CAD) technology to enhance the immersive experience of movie scenes. Firstly, DL technology, especially the model of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), is used to classify and identify the interactive objects in the virtual movie scene. Then, the deep reinforcement learning algorithm is used to simulate and experiment these objects to determine the best interaction mode. Finally, the best interactive effect is generated by combining the input information of the audience and the results of the deep reinforcement learning algorithm. CNN is obviously superior to the 3D modeling algorithm based on wavelet neural network (WNN) model in accuracy and recall. This improvement shows that CNN can more accurately identify the key elements and details in VR movie scenes, and has better scene layout optimization ability. The focus of the research is to create a highly realistic virtual movie scene by combining deep learning (DL) technology and computer graphics, so that the audience can interact with the VR scene more naturally. This interactive design can improve the immersive experience of the movie scene and enhance the audience's viewing experience. © 2024 U-turn Press LLC.

With the rapid development of modern economy, which regards satisfying customer demands as its basis, enterprises urgently need to operate effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to gain their market and increase their profit or competitive power. To provide enterprises managers with valuable views on customer management, in this paper we discussed on operation design of CRM, and proposed six operation tactics of CRM, including "senior enterprise leaders support CRM application", "integrate CRM strategies with corporate culture", "customer-oriented management system", "train staff to learn CRM knowledge", "enhance data quality of CRM system" and "protect customer information privacy". The proposed tactics will be helpful for practical operation of customer management system effectively.
