A blockchain-based trustworthy collaborative power trading scheme for 5G-enabled social internet of vehicles

Social Internet of Vehicles(SIoV)falls under the umbrella of social Internet of Things(IoT),where vehicles are socially connected to other vehicles and roadside units that can reliably share information and services with other social entities by leveraging the capabilities of 5G technology,which brings new opportunities and challenges,e.g.,collaborative power trading can address the mileage anxiety of electric ***,it relies on a trusted central party for scheduling,which introduces performance bottlenecks and cannot be set up in a distributed network,in addition,the lack of transparency in state-of-the-art Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V)power trading schemes can introduce further trust *** this paper,we propose a blockchain-based trustworthy collaborative power trading scheme for 5G-enabled social vehicular networks that uses a distributed market mechanism to introduce trusted power trading and avoids the dependence on a centralized dispatch *** on the game theory,we design the pricing and trading matching mechanism for V2V power trading to obtain maximum social *** use blockchain to record power trading data for trusted pricing and use smart contracts for transaction *** simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in improving social welfare and reducing the load on the grid.

This article introduces a comprehensive approach for designing and analyzing signal integrity in heterogeneous integrated systems that incorporate neuromorphic Darwin chips. The proposed integrated system architecture includes a neuromorphic Darwin chip, digital signal processing unit, microcontroller unit, field programmable gate arrays, and coding and decoding modules to encode and reconstruct analog spiking signals. The study evaluates the encoding module and the heterogeneous integration structure and conducts signal integrity analysis. To achieve optimal signal integrity performance, the article proposes a novel binocular eye diagram analysis technique. This innovative approach guides the encoding algorithm modification and improves the overall system performance. This research is the first to combine joint field-circuit simulation, heterogeneous integration modeling, and signal integrity analysis of the Darwin neuromorphic chip, and it is expected to serve as a valuable reference for future studies on similar systems. © 2022 IEEE.

Interactive dynamic influence diagrams (I-DIDs) are a general framework for multiagent sequential decision making under uncertainty. Due to the model complexity, a significant amount of research has been invested into solving the model through various types of either exact or approximate algorithms. However, there is no tool that allows users to specify the algorithm parameters and visualise the model solutions. In this demo, we develop an interactive I-DID system that implements most of the state-of-art I-DID algorithms and develops a new type of algorithms based on evolutionary computation. In particular, we propose a multi-population genetic algorithm for solving the I-DID models and automate the generation of behavioural models in the solutions. This demo will facilitate the I-DID research development and practical applications, and elicit a new wave of I-DID solutions based on evolutionary algorithms. © 2022 International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (***). Split Learning (SL) is a distributed learning framework renowned for its privacy-preserving features and minimal computational requirements. Previous research consistently highlights the potential privacy breaches in SL systems by server adversaries reconstructing training data. However, these studies often rely on strong assumptions or compromise system utility to enhance attack performance. This paper introduces a new semi-honest Data Reconstruction Attack on SL, named Feature-Oriented Reconstruction Attack (FORA). In contrast to prior works, FORA relies on limited prior knowledge, specifically that the server utilizes auxiliary samples from the public without knowing any client's private information. This allows FORA to conduct the attack stealthily and achieve robust performance. The key vulnerability exploited by FORA is the revelation of the model representation preference in the smashed data output by victim client. FORA constructs a substitute client through feature-level transfer learning, aiming to closely mimic the victim client's representation preference. Leveraging this substitute client, the server trains the attack model to effectively reconstruct private data. Extensive experiments showcase FORA's superior performance compared to state-of-the-art methods. Furthermore, the paper systematically evaluates the proposed method's applicability across diverse settings and advanced defense strategies.

Blockchain technology has piqued the interest of businesses of all types, while consistently improving and adapting to business requirements. Several blockchain platforms have emerged, making it challenging to select a suitable one for a specific type of business. This paper presents a classification of over one hundred blockchain platforms. We develop smart contracts for detecting healthcare insurance frauds using the top two blockchain platforms selected based on our proposed decision-making map approach which selects the top suitable platforms for healthcare insurance frauds detection application. Our classification shows that the largest percentage of platforms can be used for all types of application domains, the second biggest percentage for financial services, and a small number is to develop applications in specific domains. Our decision-making map and performance evaluations reveal that Hyperledger Fabric surpassed Neo in all metrics for detecting healthcare insurance frauds. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

Increasing global energy consumption has become an urgent problem as natural energy sources such as oil,gas,and uranium are rapidly running *** into renewable energy sources such as solar energy is being pursued to counter *** energy is one of the most promising renewable energy sources,as it has the potential to meet the world’s energy needs *** study aims to develop and evaluate artificial intelligence(AI)models for predicting hourly global *** hyperparameters were optimized using the Broyden-FletcherGoldfarb-Shanno(BFGS)quasi-Newton training algorithm and STATISTICA *** from two stations in Algeria with different climatic zones were used to develop the *** error measurements were used to determine the accuracy of the prediction models,including the correlation coefficient,the mean absolute error,and the root mean square error(RMSE).The optimal support vector machine(SVM)model showed exceptional efficiency during the training phase,with a high correlation coefficient(R=0.99)and a low mean absolute error(MAE=26.5741 Wh/m^(2)),as well as an RMSE of 38.7045 Wh/m^(2) across all ***,this study highlights the importance of accurate prediction models in the renewable energy,which can contribute to better energy management and planning.

Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,significantly impairing motor and cognitive *** rehabilitation is often hindered by the heterogeneity of stroke lesions,variability in recovery patterns,and the complexity of electroencephalography(EEG)signals,which are often contaminated by *** classification of motor imagery(MI)tasks,involving the mental simulation of movements,is crucial for assessing rehabilitation strategies but is challenged by overlapping neural signatures and patient-specific *** address these challenges,this study introduces a graph-attentive convolutional long short-term memory(LSTM)network(GACL-Net),a novel hybrid deep learning model designed to improve MI classification accuracy and ***-Net incorporates multi-scale convolutional blocks for spatial feature extraction,attention fusion layers for adaptive feature prioritization,graph convolutional layers to model inter-channel dependencies,and bidi-rectional LSTM layers with attention to capture temporal *** on an open-source EEG dataset of 50 acute stroke patients performing left and right MI tasks,GACL-Net achieved 99.52%classification accuracy and 97.43%generalization accuracy under leave-one-subject-out cross-validation,outperforming existing state-of-the-art ***,its real-time processing capability,with prediction times of 33–56 ms on a T4 GPU,underscores its clinical potential for real-time neurofeedback and adaptive *** findings highlight the model’s potential for clinical applications in assessing rehabilitation effectiveness and optimizing therapy plans through precise MI classification.

Plants affect economy, agriculture industry and climate of any country. Therefore it is very important to take care of plants. Like human being, plants are also infected by various disease that are resulted from virus, bacteria, and fungi. It is necessary to identify these diseases in time and cure them immediately to counteract the destruction of whole plant. In recent times, deep learning networks have attained tremendous improvement in classifying image and detecting object. Therefore, in our research, some pre-trained Convolution Neural Networks (AlexNet, VGG16, VGG19) have been utilised along with transfer learning for detecting plant diseases. First of all, pre-processing technique has been applied to improve image quality and increase the accuracy. After the training process, testing has been done for validating the results. To train these models, PlantVillage dataset has been used which contains both diseased and healthy leaves. 80% data has been utilised in training step and other 20% has been used in testing. In this research, precision, recall and f1-score are also computed besides the accuracy. Using AlexNet, VGG16, and VGG19 96.63%, 95.05%, and 95.22% testing accuracy have been achieved respectively. As we can see that among all models the modified AlexNet performed best and got 96.63% as accuracy, 92 % as precision, 91 % as recall, and 91 % as f1-score.

Several millions of people suffer from Parkinson’s disease ***’s affects about 1%of people over 60 and its symptoms increase with *** voice may be affected and patients experience abnormalities in speech that might not be noticed by listeners,but which could be analyzed using recorded speech *** the huge advancements of technology,the medical data has increased dramatically,and therefore,there is a need to apply data mining and machine learning methods to extract new knowledge from this *** classification methods were used to analyze medical data sets and diagnostic problems,such as Parkinson’s Disease(PD).In addition,to improve the performance of classification,feature selection methods have been extensively used in many *** paper aims to propose a comprehensive approach to enhance the prediction of PD using several machine learning methods with different feature selection methods such as filter-based and *** dataset includes 240 recodes with 46 acoustic features extracted from3 voice recording replications for 80 *** experimental results showed improvements when wrapper-based features selection method was used with K-NN classifier with accuracy of 88.33%.The best obtained results were compared with other studies and it was found that this study provides comparable and superior results.

In recent years,with the rapid development of deep learning technologies,some neural network models have been applied to generate fake ***,a deep learning based forgery technology,can tamper with the face easily and generate fake videos that are difficult to be distinguished by human *** spread of face manipulation videos is very easy to bring fake ***,it is important to develop effective detection methods to verify the authenticity of the *** to that it is still challenging for current forgery technologies to generate all facial details and the blending operations are used in the forgery process,the texture details of the fake face are ***,in this paper,a new method is proposed to detect DeepFake ***,the texture features are constructed,which are based on the gradient domain,standard deviation,gray level co-occurrence matrix and wavelet transform of the face ***,the features are processed by the feature selection method to form a discriminant feature vector,which is finally employed to SVM for classification at the frame *** experimental results on the mainstream DeepFake datasets demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve ideal performance,proving the effectiveness of the proposed method for DeepFake videos detection.
