Artificial immune algorithm has rapid and random overall search ability, but cannot utilize system feedback information sufficiently, which results in redundancy and iteration as well as low solving efficiency. Ant colony algorithm has distributed parallel overall search ability, and can be converged on optimal path by the accumulation and update of information pheromone, but there is a lack of early stage pheromone, and the solving speed is low. This thesis put forth a hybrid algorithm based on artificial immune algorithm and ant colony algorithm, which applies artificial immune algorithm to generate pheromone distribution, and ant colony algorithm for optimal solving. When this algorithm is applied to make computer simulation to solve TSP, it turned out that this algorithm is an optimal method with preferable converging speed and search ability. ©2009 IEEE.

In this thesis, memory principle and ant colony algorithm are fused and applied in intrusion detection system. The method of controlling pheromone used in ant colony algorithm is applied to simulate the memory process of human brain, and the concept of pheromone is put forth. The processes of memorizing and forgetting are reasonably interpreted through the increase and decrease of pheromone, and in the algorithm, new memory algorithm is formed to finish the processes of memorizing and forgetting after considering the impact of abnormal characteristics weight value on pheromone. Examples show that the algorithm is capable of realizing memorizing and forgetting processes and increasing the robustness and self adaptability of IDS. ©2009 IEEE.

The application of computer technology in digitalization protection and exhibition of cultural relics has made much achievement; however, most of the related researches focus on such technology stage as digital repairing, restituting, and exhibiting. Taking the Lacquer chest of the Tomb of Macaques Yi of the Zeng State as an example, researches have been done on the thoughts and methods of conforming animation and game technology in deep digitalization protection and exhibition of relics. 3D modeling technology has been put into practice in the reconstruction and restitution of the lacquer chests and the astronomic paintings described on the chests; image processing, 3D and 2D animation and game developing technology have been taken into account in the creation of digital content stage, thoroughly exhibiting the lacquer chests and the living scenes and cultural integrants described on them, bringing to a new stage the exhibition of relics and protection of culture.

An improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) method for detecting feature points of large-scale point-based models is presented in this paper. By redefining the particle, fitness, initial and ending conditions, local optimum and global optimum, iterative equations of PSO, this method can search multi-regions for the feature points in an adaptive random and parallel manner. The fitness is defined as local surface variation. The global search and two different local search methods are combined to detect the feature points quickly. This method can realize the fast displaying of the characteristic of large-scale models. The effectiveness of the algorithm has been proved by the experiments.

This paper presents a real-time robust algorithm to automatically detect and classify round road signs on Chinese highways. As most of road signs on Chinese highways have circular borders, the detection system first takes advantage of a real-time circle detection algorithm to extract the regions of interest (ROI). Then the color and texture pattern in each ROI is analyzed and compared with sample signs to both validate the candidate road sign and identify their types. The algorithm is implemented in Visual C++ and tested on a laptop powered by an Intel Centrino Duo CPU at 1.8 GHz. The experiment shows the algorithm's speed is fast, 83 ms/images on average for image size of 640 × 480, and its false negative (failure to detect) is 21 signs or 4% (failure to detect) for a pool of 530 different road signs in a pool of 1000 pictures. And there are 3 non-road-sign objects incorrectly recognized as valid road signs.

Traditional English text chunking approach is to identify phrases using only one model and same features. It is shown that one model could not consider each phrasepsilas characteristics, and same features are not suitable to all phrases. In this paper, a multi-agent text chunking model is proposed. This model uses individual sensitive features of each phrase to identify different phrases. Through testing on the public training and test corpus, this multi-agent model is effective because F score of English chunking using this multi-agent model achieves to 95.70%, which is higher than the best result that has been reported.

Generally, every website provides its own resource upload and download modules for users to share resources. However, the resources uploaded to websites' servers are often lack of unified and professional management. Whatpsilas more, when the amount of user using the upload and download modules increases, it will put a big pressure on the websitepsilas server in term of bandwidth. To solve these problems, this paper designed and implemented a web resource supporting platform-WFMS (web File Management System) which can provide a unified interface for multiple Wbsites to upload, download and manage resources professionally, and decrease the developing costs and bandwidth pressure as well.

When conducting operations in urban environments, military units often have to deal with ongoing civilian activity, including vehicle and pedestrian traffic, pedestrian congregations and crowds. Despite the important role played by civilian activity in the conduct of military operations, simulations used for military training often fail to represent civilian entities appropriately, both in terms of density and behaviours. This paper introduces a new tool (CAMiCS) that simulates vehicle traffic and pedestrian behaviour on the scale of a whole town, for training and experimentation at the operational level. CAMiCS is implemented as a multi-agent simulation that represents basic human behaviour and urban traffic. It can be used by itself or in combination with existing simulations on a DIS/HLA network. Terrain representation in CAMiCS is done using a geographical information system (GIS), and is thus especially well-suited for experimentation with GIS-based command and control systems. This paper presents the concepts used for behaviour representation and traffic simulation, as well as the CAMiCS architecture. The benefits for training at the operational level are discussed. Finally, an example is presented where CAMiCS has been integrated to a scenario in JCATS (Joint Conflict And Tactical Simulation).

One activity performed by developers during regression testing is test-suite augmentation, which consists of assessing the adequacy of a test suite after a program is modified and identifying new or modified behaviors that are not adequately exercised by the existing test suite and, thus, require additional test cases. In previous work, we proposed MATRIX, a technique for test-suite augmentation based on dependence analysis and partial symbolic execution. In this paper, we present the next step of our work, where we (1) improve the effectiveness of our technique by identifying all relevant change-propagation paths, (2) extend the technique to handle multiple and more complex changes, (3) introduce the first tool that fully implements the technique, and (4) present an empirical evaluation performed on real software. Our results show that our technique is practical and more effective than existing test-suite augmentation approaches in identifying test cases with high fault-detection capabilities. © 2008 IEEE.

Greatly progress has been made in embedded system product recent years. With widely application of embedded system, measures must be taken to assure its quality and accelerate its development time. A static analysis test platform for embedded systems is constructed in this paper with two static analysis tools, PolySpace and Pclint. Since embedded software and ordinary software are not the same, these tools can be useful after complicated configuration. By comparing the differences between embedded software and ordinary software, a set of steps are introduced, which are concluded and verified by authors' practice in recent two years. In order to present organized configuration processes, analysis result of 5 source files are shown to illustrate the effect of this platform. This analysis test platform should be used as early as possible during embedded system development cycle.
