We consider an energy-efficient reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided multi-antenna decode-and-forward (DF) relay cooperative multiple input multiple output (MIMO). Although RIS and relay share some similarities in common, they have fundamental differences and can indeed complement each other. Due to the passive characteristic of RIS, it is much challenging to obtain the perfect channel state information (CSI) and the channel estimation error (CEE) is inevitable. Aiming to the robust energy efficiency (EE) optimization of the considered system with the norm-bounded CEE, we formulate the robust EE optimization problem where the precoding matrices at source and relay as well as the phase shifts of RIS are jointly optimized with the worst-case minimum-rate and total transmit power constraints. The original problem is firstly transformed into a deterministic problem with the help of S-procedure, then an alternating optimization (AO)-based Dinkelbach algorithm is applied to solve it. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the superiorities of the robust EE optimization compared with the non-robust scheme, and also show the validity and good convergency of the proposed algorithm. Furthermore, the results also illustrate the effects of various factors on the performance.

Target tracking is currently a hot research topic in Computer Vision and has a wide range of use in many research fields. However, due to factors such as occlusion, fast motion, blur and scale variation, tracking method still needs to be deeply studied. In this paper, we propose a block target tracking method based on multi-convolutional layer features and Kernel correlation filter. Our method divides the tracking process into two parts: target position estimation and target scale estimation. First, we block the target frame based on the condition number. Second, we extract the features by the convolutional layer and apply it to the kernel correlation filter to get the center position of different block targets. With the reliability of different blocks measured by the Barker coefficient, the overall target position center is obtained. Then, the affine transformation is adopted to achieve the scale adaptation. The algorithm in this paper is evaluated by the public video sequences in OTB-2013. Numerous experimental results demonstrate that the proposed tracking method can achieve target scale adaptation and effectively improve the tracking accuracy. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. This paper presents a joint parallel loop filtering algorithm based on multi-thread load balancing in HEVC decoding, which implements the parallel processing of deblocking filtering (DBF) and sample adaptive compensation (SAO). Because of the diversity of video, the texture of different regions in an image is also different, which leads to various CTU partition methods. Therefore, the number of the boundary to be filtered is greatly different, resulting the computation load among multiple threads unbalanced in parallel processing. To solve this problem, an area division scheme is proposed, which divides the image into multiple areas, and the number of boundaries to be filtered in each area is similar. Then, the mapping relationship table is used to allocate these areas to multiple threads for parallel processing, so as to achieve the load balancing among the filtering threads. Finally, the cache technology is used to combine DBF and SAO to reduce the delay between them and improve the overall parallelism of the loop filter. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed load balancing joint filtering algorithm is 8.15% higher than the previous scheme. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Non-Hermitian topological phases can produce some remarkable properties, compared with their Hermitian counterpart, such as the breakdown of conventional bulk-boundary correspondence and the non-Hermitian topological edge mode. Here, we introduce several algorithms with multilayer perceptron (MLP), and convolutional neural network (CNN) in the field of deep learning, to predict the winding of eigenvalue non-Hermitian Hamiltonians. Subsequently, we use the smallest module of the periodic circuit as one unit to construct high-dimensional circuit data features. Further, we use the Dense Convolutional network (DenseNet), a type of convolutional neural network that utilizes dense connections between layers to design a non-Hermitian topolectrical Chern circuit, as the DenseNet algorithm is more suitable for processing high-dimensional data. Our results demonstrate the effectiveness of the deep learning network in capturing the global topological characteristics of a non-Hermitian system based on training data.

We present a simple method for the complete analysis of maximally hyperentangled state in polarization and spatial-mode degrees of freedom assisted by the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity. Our method not only can be used for two-photon hyperentangled Bell state analysis and three-photon hyperentangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state analysis, but also is suitable for N-photon hyperentangled GHZ state analysis. In our protocols, the bit information of hyperentanglement is read out via the nonlinear interaction, and the phase information is obtained by using linear optical element and single photon detector. This approach is achievable with the current technology, and will be useful for the practical high-capacity quantum communication schemes. © 2022, CC BY.

Logistics vehicle and cargo matching problem is a typical combination optimization problem,which has important theoretical and application value in the field of logistics *** proved particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is one of the most extensive optimization methods studied in recent years,with excellent global search ability and convergence *** on the IPSO algorithm,this paper proposes an effective IPSO algorithm model for the matching problem of logistics vehicles and goods,and conducts the corresponding comparative *** final experimental results show that the algorithm has good results in practical application and can provide a feasible optimization method for solving the problem of logistics vehicles and goods.

Proposal for the complete high-dimensional Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state measurement

A theoretical proposal for the complete analysis of high-dimensional Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state is presented in this Letter. We first demonstrate the approach for the complete three-photon GHZ state measurement in three dimensions, and then generalize it to the situation of N-photon system in d dimensions. In our approach, the photonic hyperentanglement and quantum Fourier transform are both utilized. The presented proposal will be useful for the high-dimensional multi-photon quantum computation and quantum communication. © 2022, CC BY.

This paper studies the downlink spectral efficiency of a two-way cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output system with few-bit analog-to-digital converts (ADCs). By utilizing minimum mean squared error channel estimation method and maximal-ratio transmission precoder, we derive a closed-form expression for the effective downlink signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), which applies to any number of access point (AP) antennas M and distortion factors of ADCs in both AP and user pair sides. Additionally, the obtained analytical expression specializes to the conventional one when the ideal ADCs are adopted. Moreover, the asymptotic performance and power scaling law of the effective SINR in high M regime are studied. The corresponding analysis indicates that increasing M can provide considerable gains to compensate the rate loss caused by non-ideal ADCs and also, appropriately cutting down the pilot power and transmission power will not affect the SINR performance in high M region. Finally, all the theoretical results are verified via simulations.

With the rapid development of mobile internet cloud computing, the traditional network structure becomes non-suitable for advanced network traffic requirements. A service migration decision algorithm is proposed in the Software Defined network(SDN) to satisfy differential Quality of Service(QoS) requirements. We divide services into real-time ones and non-real-time ones due to their different requirements on time delay and transmission rates, and construct the revenue function on two QoS attributes i.e. time delay and available transmission rates. We use the Markov decision process to maximize the overall benefits of users and network system to achieve the best user experience. The simulation results show that our proposed algorithm achieves better performance in terms of overall benefits than the exiting algorithms only considering single service and single QoS attribute. © 2021, CC BY.

This work delves into the energy localization in non-Hermitian systems, particularly focusing on the effects of topological defects in spherical models. We analyze the mode distribution changes in non-Hermitian Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) chains impacted by defects, utilizing the Maximum Skin Corner Weight (MaxWSC). By introducing an innovative spherical model, conceptualized through bisecting spheres into one-dimensional chain structures, we investigate the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE) in a new dimensional context, venturing into the realm of non-Euclidean geometry. Our experimental validations on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) confirm the theoretical findings. Collectively, these results not only validate our theoretical framework but also demonstrate the potential of engineered circuit systems to emulate complex non-Hermitian phenomena, showcasing the applicability of non-Euclidean geometries in studying NHSE and topological phenomena in non-Hermitian systems. © 2024, CC BY.
