By sharing model parameters instead of raw data to train machine models, Federated Learning (FL) can protect End equipment Workers (EWs)’ data privacy. However, due to energy constraints and selfishness, EWs may not be willing to participate or train slowly, which affects the performance of global FL model. To address these issues, we propose a three-stage Stackelberg game-based wireless powered FL framework to incentivize all players to participate in the system while ensuring the successful completion of FL tasks. Specifically, Base Station (BS) publishes the FL task and wants to obtain a better FL model at a lower cost. EWs train local FL models, and want to get more payment with less energy consumption. When EWs train and upload their local models, Charging Service Provider (CSP) transmits energy to them via Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) while charging fees. In order to obtain the optimal strategy for all participants, we analyze the proposed game problem using the backward induction method. Meanwhile, we prove that the unique Stackelberg equilibrium and Nash equilibrium can be obtained, and we obtain the approximate optimal solution of BS using the subgradient method. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed method in different scenarios. The results show that the proposed method improves the utility of three parties by an average of 19.09% - 51.86% compared with the benchmark methods.

In real-world scenarios, networks (graphs) and their tasks possess unique characteristics, requiring the development of a versatile graph augmentation (GA) to meet the varied demands of network analysis. Unfortunately, most Graph Contrastive Learning (GCL) frameworks are hampered by the specificity, complexity, and incompleteness of their GA techniques. Firstly, GAs designed for specific scenarios may compromise the universality of models if mishandled. Secondly, the process of identifying and generating optimal augmentations generally involves substantial computational overhead. Thirdly, the effectiveness of the GCL, even the learnable ones, is constrained by the finite selection of GAs available. To overcome the above limitations, this paper introduces a novel unified GA module dubbed UGA after reinterpreting the mechanism of GAs in GCLs from a message-passing perspective. Theoretically, this module is capable of unifying any explicit GAs, including node, edge, attribute, and subgraph augmentations. Based on the proposed UGA, a novel generalized GCL framework dubbed Graph cOntrastive UnifieD Augmentations (GOUDA) is proposed. It seamlessly integrates widely adopted contrastive losses and an introduced independence loss to fulfill the common requirements of consistency and diversity of augmentation across diverse scenarios. Evaluations across various datasets and tasks demonstrate the generality and efficiency of the proposed GOUDA over existing state-of-the-art GCLs.

Landmark recognition stands as a prominent classification challenge within the domain of vision and perception, involving the identification and localization of landmarks in images. However, existing landmark recognition methods often fall short in delivering satisfactory performance. A critical issue lies in the lack of simultaneous exploration of local, regional, and global modeling. Intuitively, the local details, regional features, and global structure within an image, especially of a building, significantly contribute to landmark recognition. To address this issue, we propose a novel approach, termed Hierarchical Context Modeling Network (HCMNet), for landmark recognition. In our methodology, we introduce a Hierarchical Context Modeling Block (HCMB) designed with a triplet-branch structure to model image context in a hierarchical manner. These branches consist of the local branch, which leverages a convolutional layer to capture local details, the regional branch focused on extracting regional features through large-kernel asymmetrical convolutional layers, and the global branch aims at encompassing the broader context by incorporating channel attention. To enhance the modeling capacity, we assemble multiple HCMBs into the HCMNet, creating a hierarchical structure. Comprehensive experiments validate the efficacy of the proposed HCMNet for landmark recognition, showcasing its superior performance compared to current methods. The proposed hierarchical context modeling approach proves instrumental in capturing the intricate features essential for accurate landmark recognition.

The rapid advancement of photorealistic generators has reached a critical juncture where the discrepancy between authentic and manipulated images is increasingly indistinguishable. Thus, benchmarking and advancing techniques detecting digital manipulation become an urgent issue. Although there have been a number of publicly available face forgery datasets, the forgery faces are mostly generated using GAN-based synthesis technology, which does not involve the most recent technologies like diffusion. The diversity and quality of images generated by diffusion models have been significantly improved and thus a much more challenging face forgery dataset shall be used to evaluate SOTA forgery detection literature. In this paper, we propose a large-scale, diverse, and fine-grained high-fidelity dataset, namely GenFace, to facilitate the advancement of deepfake detection, which contains a large number of forgery faces generated by advanced generators such as the diffusion-based model and more detailed labels about the manipulation approaches and adopted generators. In addition to evaluating SOTA approaches on our benchmark, we design an innovative Cross Appearance-Edge Learning (CAEL) detector to capture multi-grained appearance and edge global representations, and detect discriminative and general forgery traces. Moreover, we devise an Appearance-Edge Cross-Attention (AECA) module to explore the various integrations across two domains. Extensive experiment results and visualizations show that our detection model outperforms the state of the arts on different settings like cross-generator, cross-forgery, and cross-dataset evaluations. The complementary benefits from visible and thermal infrared data are widely utilized in various computer vision task, such as visual tracking, semantic segmentation and object detection, but rarely explored in Multiple Object Tracking (MOT). In this work, we contribute a large-scale Visible-Thermal video benchmark for MOT, called VT-MOT. VT-MOT has the following main advantages. 1) The data is large scale and high diversity. VT-MOT includes 582 video sequence pairs, 401k frame pairs from surveillance, drone, and handheld platforms. 2) The cross-modal alignment is highly accurate. We invite several professionals to perform both spatial and temporal alignment frame by frame. 3) The annotation is dense and high-quality. VT-MOT has 3.99 million annotation boxes annotated and double-checked by professionals, including heavy occlusion and object re-acquisition (object disappear and reappear) challenges. To provide a strong baseline, we design a simple yet effective tracking framework, which effectively fuses temporal information and complementary information of two modalities in a progressive manner, for robust visible-thermal MOT. A comprehensive experiment are conducted on VT-MOT and the results prove the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed method compared with state-of-the-art methods. Counterfactual data Augmentation with Denoising Diffusion for Graph Anomaly Detection

A critical aspect of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) is to enhance the node representations by aggregating node neighborhood information. However, when detecting anomalies, the representations of abnormal nodes are prone to be averaged by normal neighbors, making the learned anomaly representations less distinguishable. To tackle this issue, we propose CAGAD - an unsupervised Counterfactual data Augmentation method for Graph Anomaly Detection - which introduces a graph pointer neural network as the heterophilic node detector to identify potential anomalies whose neighborhoods are normal-node-dominant. For each identified potential anomaly, we design a graph-specific diffusion model to translate a part of its neighbors, which are probably normal, into anomalous ones. At last, we involve these translated neighbors in GNN neighborhood aggregation to produce counterfactual representations of anomalies. Through aggregating the translated anomalous neighbors, counterfactual representations become more distinguishable and further advocate detection performance. The experimental results on four datasets demonstrate that CAGAD significantly outperforms strong baselines, with an average improvement of 2.35% on F1, 2.53% on AUC-ROC, and 2.79% on AUC-PR. In order to solve the impact of the temporal and spatial characteristics of traffic on network routing optimization, this paper proposes convolution long-short memory neural network deep reinforcement learning (CLSDRL) model for routing optimization. The CLSDRL model consists of deep deterministic policy gradients (DDPG) deep couple with convolution neural network (CNN) and long-short memory neural network (LSTM). After extracting the spatial and temporal characteristics of network traffic with CNN and LSTM, routing decisions are made with DDPG algorithm. Experiments are conducted under different load intensities, and the network performance is evaluated by the average network delay and packet loss rate, experimental results show that this method can improve significantly network performance.

In gastroenteroscopy image analysis, numerous CADs demonstrate that deep learning aids doctors' diagnosis. The shapes and sizes of the lesions are varied. And in the clinic, the dataset appears to be data imbalanced. However, existing methods directly classify by texture and ignore lesions with various shapes and sizes. To address the issue above, we propose a deep neural network, which consists of multi-scale feature extraction, contrastive feature learning and a multi-scale feature fusion module. We train the contrastive feature learning module and multi-scale feature fusion module simultaneously to alleviate the issue of data distribution differences. Thus, the proposed network can better identify various categories. Extensive experiments on the Hyper Kvasir dataset show that the proposed Hybrid-M2CL outperforms the benchmark proposed by the dataset with 5.0% Macro Precision, 3.3% Macro Recall, 3.4% Macro F1-score, 3.3% Micro Precision, 3.6% MCC. In addition, it outperforms the SOTA by 1.1% Macro F1-score, 2.6% MCC, and 2.0% B-ACC.

In practical applications of deep learning, as the demand for the modeling capability increases, the network size may need to be massively enlarged in response. This may form a significant challenge in practice, especially when facing the dilemma of limited computational resources, making model compression indispensable. It can be time-consuming and interminable to obtain an appropriate network architecture through manual compression. In this paper, we propose an automated method for searching decomposed network architectures, named DNAS (standing for Decomposed Neural Architecture Search). It integrates both tasks of neural architecture search and tensor decomposition based model compression within a unified framework. The method is able to efficiently find a compact network with high performance for image denoising, with respect to memory and runtime. Particularly, using one single V100 GPU, it only takes about 1.5 h to obtain a denoising network on the BSD500 dataset. Experimental results demonstrate that compared with models developed using existing methods, DNAS consumes significantly less inference time and employs much fewer trainable parameters, outperforming existing approaches on both synthetic and real-world denoising datasets. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.
