The progress from intelligent interactions requires electronic skin(E-skin)to shift from single-functional perception to multisensory ***,the intuitive and interference-free reading of multiple sensory signals without involving complex algorithms is a critical ***,we propose a flexible multisensory E-skin by developing a highly homogeneous dispersion of BaTiO_(3)nanoparticles in polydimethylsiloxane dielectric *** E-skin is sensitive to externally applied pressure as well as temperature and can distinguish dual synergetic stimuli by the time decoupling *** pressure and temperature perception was achieved in an individual device,which greatly reduced the structural complexity compared with multifunctional integrated *** sensitivity of E-skin for pressure detection is as high as 0.0724 kPa^(−1)and the detection range reaches as wide as 15.625-10 *** sensitivity to temperature detection is as high as−1.34℃^(−1)and the detection range reaches 20-200℃.More importantly,by equipping with a multilayer neural network,the evolution from tactile perception to advanced intelligent tactile cognition is demonstrated.

This paper presents a novel single-loop narrow-band force rebalance control method with temperature self-compensation for a MEMS gyroscope. The narrow-bandwidth force rebalance control for the sense mode is achieved using a simple bandpass filter (BPF) and without modulation or demodulation. The center frequency of the BPF is adjusted automatically to match the resonant frequency of the sense mode. Meanwhile, its gain is tuned based on the real-time quality factor of the sense mode. Experimental results demonstrate that the bias drift of the gyroscope with self-compensation is reduced from 1320 deg/h to 16 deg/h, while the scale factor drift is reduced from 0.616 mV/deg/s to 0.075 mV/deg/s. © 2025 IEEE.

Permissioned blockchains play a significant role in various application scenarios. applications built on heterogeneous permissioned blockchains need to migrate data from one chain to another, aiming to keep their competitiveness and security. Thus, data migration across heterogeneous chains is a building block of permissioned blockchains. However, existing data migration protocols across heterogeneous chains are rarely used in practice since data migration technologies are insecure. To this end, we propose a data migration protocol across permissioned blockchains, named DataFly. We design a peg consensus mechanism, which provides consistent data-migration functionality between any two permissioned blockchains. To preserve the confidentiality of data, we invoke two classical cryptographic methods, i.e., i) ECDSA feature and ii) the integrated signature and public key encryption scheme. Through combining those two methods, data can be securely migrated from one permissioned blockchain to another without exposing the migrated data to anyone except associated parties. To demonstrate the practicality of DataFly, we implement a prototype of DataFly using existing popular permissioned blockchains, i.e., Hyperledger Fabric and private enterprise Ethereum. Measurement results demonstrate that DataFly outperforms related works in terms of transaction latency and gas costs. © 1968-2012 IEEE.

Lightweight 6-bit S-boxes with DPA Resistance

Lightweight S-boxes have a significant impact on cryptographic algorithms for resource-constrained devices in the Internet of Things (IoT). Previous research on such S-oxes has focused on low area and good cryptographic properties, which neglects the resistance to side-channel analysis, especially differential power analysis (DPA). The reVisited transparency order (VTO) is one of the best indicators for evaluating S-boxes against DPA attacks so far. Therefore, this paper presents a scheme for designing 6-bit S-boxes. The designed S-boxes are suitable for lightweight block ciphers and have a certain ability to resist DPA attacks. Specifically, we first identify 23 3-bit S-boxes with the optimal cryptographic properties and the smallest hardware area through systematic screening. Then, the paper investigates the constructions of lightweight 6-bit S-boxes based on traditional algorithm structures. Finally, a novel structure named F-LM-F is proposed for designing lightweight 6-bit S-boxes by combining Feistel structure and Lai-Massey structure. It has been proven through comparison that the S-boxes under F-LM-F structure achieve fewer fixed points and lower VTO than the 6-bit S-box of BipBip cipher, with a 17.61% reduction in hardware area and a 13.58% decrease in CPU cycles © 2013 IEEE.

A Blockchain-Assisted Hierarchical Data Aggregation Framework for IIoT With Computing First Networks

With an increasing number of sensor devices connected to industrial systems, the efficient and reliable aggregation of sensor data has become a key topic in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Computing First Networks (CFN) are emerging as a promising technology for aggregating vast quantities of IIoT data. However, existing CFN data collection frameworks are usually centralized, which overly rely on third-party trusted authorities and fail to fully schedule and utilize limited computing resources. More critically, that is prone to trust and security issues. In this paper, considering the heterogeneity and data security in complex industrial scenarios, we propose a blockchain-based and multi-edge CFN collaborative IIoT data hierarchical collection framework (ME-CIDC) to collect massive IIoT data securely and efficiently. In ME-CIDC, a blockchain-driven resource allocation algorithm is proposed for inter-domain CFN, which achieves distributed and efficient task scheduling and data collection by constructing multiple blockchains. A self-incentive mechanism is designed to encourage inter-domain nodes to contribute resources and support the operation of the inter-domain CFN. We also propose an efficient double-layered data aggregation algorithm, which distributes computational tasks across two layers to ensure the efficient collection and aggregation of IIoT data. Extensive simulation and numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed scheme. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Recently, a new concept called multiplicative differential was introduced by Ellingsen et al. [7]. As an extension of the differential uniformity, it is theoretically appealing to determine the properties of c-differential uniformity and the corresponding c-differential spectrum. In this paper, based on certain quadratic character sums and two special elliptic curves over $$\mathbb {F}_p$$ , the $$(-1)$$ -differential spectra of the following two classes of power functions over $$\mathbb {F}_{p^n}$$ is completely determined: (1) $$f_1(x)=x^{\frac{p^n+3}{2}}$$ , where $$p>3$$ and $$p\equiv 3\pmod 4$$ ; (2) $$f_2(x)=x^{p^n-3}$$ , where $$p>3$$ . The obtained result shows that the $$(-1)$$ -differential spectra of $$f_1(x)$$ and $$f_2(x)$$ can be expressed explicitly in terms of n. Moreover, an upper bound of the c-differential uniformity of $$f_2(x)$$ is given.

Multiplexing technology serves as an effective approach to increase both information storage and transmission capability. However, when exploring multiplexing methods across various dimensions, the polarization dimension encounters limitations stemming from the finite orthogonal combinations. Given that only two mutually orthogonal polarizations are identifiable on the basic Poincaré sphere, this poses a hindrance to polarization modulation. To overcome this challenge, we propose a construction method for the optical polarized orthogonal matrix(OPOM), which is not constrained by the number of orthogonal combinations. Furthermore, we experimentally validate its application in high-dimensional multiplexing of polarization holography. We explore polarization holography technology, capable of recording amplitude, phase, and polarization, for the purpose of recording and selective reconstruction of polarization multi-channels. Our research reveals that, despite identical polarization states, multiple images can be independently manipulated within distinct polarization channels through orthogonal polarization combinations, owing to the orthogonal selectivity among information.

RISE-Based Prescribed Performance Control for Multimotor Driving Systems

In this article, a novel approximation free control method was developed for multimotor driving systems with prescribed performance. The developed controller includes multimotor synchronization controller and the load tracking controller. First, the synchronous controller was designed by using the robust integral of the sign of the error to guarantee that all the motors states can converge their average value. Second, to achieve the load tracking control, an approximation free controller was developed based on the prescribed performance function. This method can avoid the function approximators and reduce the reduced computational burden and complexity. With the developed control strategy, the tracking error remains in a prescribed boundary, and the multimotor synchronous error achieves the asymptotic convergence. Finally, comparative experiments are conducted on a four-motor drive system to test the enhanced performance and robustness of the designed controller. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

Alkynyl-containing molecules hold significant importance in organic synthesis, drug discovery, and materials science. Herein, we report an efficient protocol for the C(sp)-C(sp3) cross-coupling of bromoalkynes with primary, secondary, and tertiary alkylboronic acids. Mechanistic experiments suggest that silver and base enable the generation of an alkyl radical intermediate from the alkylboronic acid and then undergo a cascade of α-addition and β-elimination with alkynyl bromides, leading to the construction of C(sp)-C(sp3) bonds. This strategy features readily available starting materials, diverse substrates, and mild and easily handled reaction conditions. © 2025 American Chemical Society.

Customized priors for enhanced multispectral and hyperspectral image sharpening

In recent years, deep unfolding (DU) models have gained significant traction in multi-source image fusion applications, including remote sensing pansharpening and the integration of multispectral and hyperspectral images, owing to their enhanced interpretability. However, despite embedding physical degradation models, these DU models still rely on implicit learning for their priors, which can impede interpretability. In this paper, we present a novel image fusion model based on maximum a posterior (MAP) framework. This model enhances interpretability and fusion performance by incorporating two innovative prior modules. The first module employs codebook to capture the spectral traits of the target image, subsequently integrating these insights within our DU framework. The second module specializes in uncovering the intrinsic correlations between multi-source images, ensuring that the fusion process effectively leverages the rich, diverse information encoded within each modality. Specifically, we have effectively combined the self-similarity and cross-modal similarity paradigms into a unified cross image prior module. To counteract the redundancy present in images, we have integrated an agent mechanism that significantly simplifies the computational load of our prior module. Quantitative and qualitative experiments on multiple benchmark datasets demonstrate that the proposed method achieves more robustness and high-quality results than other state-of-the-art sharpening methods. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.
