In smart factories, the wide application of a variety of intelligent manufacturing devices and advanced sensors leads to the increasing demand for data exchange between different devices. In order to realize the flexible forwarding of multi-source manufacturing data in heterogeneous networks and the optimal utilization of network resources, in this article, we combined smartphone manufacturing scenarios, referred to the data flow reconstruction algorithm in related documents, analyzed the high dynamics of the data flow and proposed a data flow reconstruction algorithm based on routing-protocol, according to the particularity of different data forwarding and processing procedures, redesigned and defined the data flow in the scene. Finally, the results of Mininet simulation experiments showed that our proposed algorithm reduces the average transmission delay. © 2022 IEEE

Semi-supervised graph domain adaptation, as a branch of graph transfer learning, aims to annotate unlabeled target graph nodes by utilizing transferable knowledge learned from a label-scarce source graph. However, most existing studies primarily concentrate on aligning feature distributions directly to extract domain-invariant features, while ignoring the utilization of the intrinsic structure information in graphs. Inspired by the significance of data structure information in enhancing models' generalization performance, this paper aims to investigate how to leverage the structure information to assist graph transfer learning. To this end, we propose an innovative framework called TFGDA. Specially, TFGDA employs a structure alignment strategy named STSA to encode graphs' topological structure information into the latent space, greatly facilitating the learning of transferable features. To achieve a stable alignment of feature distributions, we also introduce a SDA strategy to mitigate domain discrepancy on the sphere. Moreover, to address the overfitting issue caused by label scarcity, a simple but effective RNC strategy is devised to guide the discriminative clustering of unlabeled nodes. Experiments on various benchmarks demonstrate the superiority of TFGDA over SOTA methods.

To address the key challenge encountered in fake news detection, i.e., multimodal data is difficult to be effectively semantically represented due to its intrinsic heterogeneity, this paper proposes a multimodal knowledge representation method for fake news detection. First, visual feature extraction is performed for fake news image data, the relevant images are sliced into multiple blocks, and then visual modal features are obtained by linear projection layer mapping. This simplifies the feature extraction process and reduces the computational cost, which helps to improve the fake news recognition performance. Second, to meet the actual fake news detection needs, a long text representation method based on topic words is investigated for the text data in fake news. Finally, the multimodal representation of the same fake news data is optimized by establishing a connection between two different modalities, visual and text, and inputting it into a BiLSTM-Attention based network to achieve the fusion of multimodal features. The experiment selects the same fake news data of EANN model and uses four classical classification methods to verify the effect of knowledge representation and compare it with the fusion model ViLT which is not optimized for long text. The experiment proves that the accuracy rate of fake news detection using the multimodal representation proposed in this paper is improved by 7.4% compared to the EANN model, and by 9.3% compared to the ViLT representation.

Gb-Dbscan: A Fast Granular-Ball Based Dbscan Clustering Algorithm

DBSCAN algorithm identifies high-density connected areas as clusters, so that it has advantages in discovering arbitrary-shaped clusters. However, it has difficulty in adjusting parameters and its time complexity is O(n2). Granular-ball (GB) is a coarse grained representation of data. It is on the basis of the assumption that an object and its local neighbors have similar distribution and they have high possibility of belonging to the same class. Inspired by the idea of granular-ball, we introduce it into unsupervised learning and use it to improve the efficiency of DBSCAN, called GB-DBSCAN. Firstly, we use k-nearest neighbor (KNN) to generate granular-balls, which is a bottom-up strategy, and describe granular-balls according to their centers and radius. Then, the granular-balls are divided into Core-GB and Non-Core-GB according to their density. After that, the Core-GBs are merged into clusters according to the idea of DBSCAN and the Non-Core-GBs are assigned to appropriate clusters. Since the granular-balls' number is much smaller than the size of the objects in a data, the running time of DBSCAN is greatly reduced. By comparing with state-of-the-art clustering algorithms, the proposed algorithm can get similar or better clustering result in much less running time. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Convolutional Attention Fusion for RGBT Tracking

RGBT target tracking accomplishes the tracking task by fusing visible and thermal infrared information. The development of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Transformer has greatly advanced this field. Most existing transformer-based trackers focus on global modeling while neglecting the utilization of local information. In this paper, we propose a novel Convolutional Attention Fusion Module (CAFM) for RGBT target tracking. To be specific, this module continuously slides local windows on the image like convolution, and captures context features in each window like attention. Additionally, local position embedding is added to the window and works in conjunction with global position embedding to enhance the model's understanding of spatial information. Therefore, our CAFM enhances the extraction of local features by restricting the attention area and promotes multimodal fusion through cross-attention. We extend OSTrack to RGBT tracking and integrate the proposed CAFM into it. Experimental results show that our method performs well on the LasHeR, RGBT210, and RGBT234 datasets, and is superior to other advanced trackers. © 1994-2012 IEEE.

In the domain of facial recognition security, multimodal Face Anti-Spoofing (FAS) is essential for countering presentation attacks. However, existing technologies encounter challenges due to modality biases and imbalances, as well as domain shifts. Our research introduces a Mixture of Experts (MoE) model to address these issues effectively. We identified three limitations in traditional MoE approaches to multimodal FAS: (1) Coarse-grained experts’ inability to capture nuanced spoofing indicators; (2) Gated networks’ susceptibility to input noise affecting decision-making; (3) MoE’s sensitivity to prompt tokens leading to overfitting with conventional learning methods. To mitigate these, we propose the Bypass Isolated Gating MoE (big-MoE) framework, featuring: (1) Fine-grained experts for enhanced detection of subtle spoofing cues; (2) An isolation gating mechanism to counteract input noise; (3) A novel differential convolutional prompt bypass enriching the gating network with critical local features, thereby improving perceptual capabilities. Extensive experiments on four benchmark datasets demonstrate significant generalization performance improvement in multimodal FAS task. The code is released at https://***/murInJ/big-MoE.

Enhancing Perception Capabilities of Multimodal LLMs with Training-Free Fusion

Multimodal LLMs (MLLMs) equip language models with visual capabilities by aligning vision encoders with language models. Existing methods to enhance the visual perception of MLLMs often involve designing more powerful vision encoders, which requires exploring a vast design space and re-aligning each potential encoder with the language model, resulting in prohibitively high training costs. In this paper, we introduce VisionFuse, a novel integration framework that efficiently utilizes multiple vision encoders from off-the-shelf MLLMs to enhance visual perception without requiring additional training. Our approach is motivated by the observation that different MLLMs tend to focus on distinct regions given the same query and image. Moreover, we find that the feature distributions of vision encoders within an MLLM family, a group of MLLMs sharing the same pretrained LLM, are highly aligned. Building on these insights, VisionFuse enriches the visual context by concatenating the tokens generated by the vision encoders of selected MLLMs within a family. By merging the parameters of language models from these MLLMs, VisionFuse allows a single language model to align with various vision encoders, significantly reducing deployment overhead. We conduct comprehensive evaluations across multiple multimodal benchmarks using various MLLM combinations, demonstrating substantial improvements in multimodal tasks. Learning with Open-world Noisy data via Class-independent Margin in Dual Representation Space

Learning with Noisy Labels (LNL) aims to improve the model generalization when facing data with noisy labels, and existing methods generally assume that noisy labels come from known classes, called closed-set noise. However, in real-world scenarios, noisy labels from similar unknown classes, i.e., open-set noise, may occur during the training and inference stage. Such open-world noisy labels may significantly impact the performance of LNL methods. In this study, we propose a novel dual-space joint learning method to robustly handle the open-world noise. To mitigate model overfitting on closed-set and open-set noises, a dual representation space is constructed by two networks. One is a projection network that learns shared representations in the prototype space, while the other is a One-Vs-All (OVA) network that makes predictions using unique semantic representations in the class-independent space. Then, bi-level contrastive learning and consistency regularization are introduced in two spaces to enhance the detection capability for data with unknown classes. To benefit from the memorization effects across different types of samples, class-independent margin criteria are designed for sample identification, which selects clean samples, weights closed-set noise, and filters open-set noise effectively. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods and achieves an average accuracy improvement of 4.55% and an AUROC improvement of 6.17% on CIFAR80N. Targeted Pareto Optimization for Subset Selection With Monotone Objective Function and Cardinality Constraint

Subset selection, a fundamental problem in various domains, is to choose a subset of elements from a large candidate set under a given objective or multiple objectives. Pareto optimization for subset selection (POSS) has emerged as a powerful paradigm for addressing subset selection problems. Recently, some POSS variants have been proposed to further improve its performance. In this paper, we propose a new POSS variant, named Targeted Pareto Optimization for Subset Selection (TPOSS). TPOSS differs from POSS in four aspects: problem formulation, population initialization, mutation, and environmental selection. The main idea of TPOSS is to focus the search on the target region of subset selection with respect to the subset cardinality in order to improve the search efficiency. We conduct comprehensive experiments to compare TPOSS with six state-of-the-art algorithms on three subset selection tasks (i.e., sparse regression, unsupervised feature selection, and hypervolume subset selection) where the size of the candidate sets ranges from 20 to 400. Experimental results show that with respect to the objective value of the best feasible subset, TPOSS outperforms the other algorithms on all the three tasks, which suggests the potential of TPOSS to enhance subset selection in various domains. Before the charging behavior occurs, drivers often make charging decisions motivated by range anxiety. Traditional research on charging behavior mainly relies on psychological questionnaires and big data analysis, but these methods are subjective and limited. Therefore, this paper uses physiological signal studies as a supplement to provide objective and quantitative indicators. In this paper, by building an experimental platform and designing an experimental scheme, the electroencephalogram, electrocardiogram, electrodermal and electromyography signals of the subjects during simulated driving were collected. Through data processing and analysis, it is found that the EEG signal, ECG signal, EDA signal and EMG signal will change after the driver is stimulated by insufficient driving range. The experimental results show that there is a certain correlation between the driver's range anxiety state and physiological information, indicating that physiological signals can be used as an effective tool to evaluate and study range anxiety, and also provide a new solution for the driver's state detection before charging electric vehicles, which is of great significance for the popularization and promotion of electric vehicles. © 2023 IEEE.
