The reliability of electromechanical conversion is the key index that affects the quality of the direct-reading electronic remote transmission water meter. Aiming at the problems of low automation level and low detection efficiency of current detection methods, a set of electromechanical conversion reliability detection device for electronic remote water meter based on machine vision technology is designed. The device adopts the non-real flow automatic detection method, simulates the test flow through the servo motor control system, and automatically obtains the mechanical reading of the water meter through the machine vision technology, thus realizing the automatic detection of the electromechanical conversion performance. The experimental results show that the designed device has high degree of automation, high detection efficiency, and accurate and reliable results. © 2023 IEEE.

Ventilators are widely needed when the COVID-19 is a global outbreak, and they are used to provide mechanical ventilation for patients who are physically unable to breathe, or breathe insufficiently. A ventilator tester is an instrument used to verify and calibrate ventilation parameters of ventilators like gas flow, tidal volume, frequency. As a measuring device, the ventilator tester also needs to be calibrated periodically. And different parameters are usually calibrated with different devices. In order to improve calibration efficiency and accuracy, a novel multi-parameter calibrator for ventilator tester based on reciprocating plunger is proposed in this work. Engineering atomic Rb-N configurations to tune radical pathways for highly selective photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2) synthesis coupled with biomass valorization

Photocatalytic oxygen reduction for hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))synthesis presents a green and costeffective production ***,achieving highly selective H_(2)O_(2)synthesis remains challenging,necessitating precise control over free radical reaction pathways and minimizing undesirable oxidative ***,we report for the visible light-driven simultaneous co-photocatalytic reduction of O2to H_(2)O_(2)and oxidation of biomass using the atomic rubidium-nitride modified carbon nitride(CNRb).The optimized CNRb catalyst demonstrates a record photoreduction rate of 8.01 mM h^(-1)for H_(2)O_(2)generation and photooxidation rate of 3.75 mM h^(-1)for furfuryl alcohol to furoic acid,achieving a remarkable solar-to-chemical conversion(SCC)efficiency of up to 2.27%.Experimental characterizations and DFT calculation disclosed that the introducing atomic Rb–N configurations allows for the high-selective generation of superoxide radicals while suppressing hydroxyl free radical *** is because the Rb–N serves as the new alternative site to perceive a stronger connection position for O2adsorption and reinforce the capability to extract protons,thereby triggering a high selective redox product *** study holds great potential in precisely regulating reactive radical processes at the atomic level,thereby paving the way for efficient synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)coupled with biomass valorization.

In NMOR magnetometers, we choose the linear polarized light to pump atoms, and the polarization state is the key factor affecting the evolution of alkali metal atoms. However, polarization errors are introduced due to the refraction of the glass surfaces of the cell and the imperfection of optical devices, which causes the actual laser light to be elliptically polarized. In this paper, the optical ellipticity for this system is accurately measured by the πtransition principle first. Then, the magnetic resonance signals under different ellipticity are investigated theoretically and experimentally, and the atomic polarization state is visualized. The results show that the optical ellipticity error introduced by the system will reduce the measurement accuracy and sensitivity of the system, and it is meaningful to use high extinction ratio optical devices and introduce the quarter-wave plate to offset the circularly polarized components. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

We experimentally study the dynamic characteristics of a miniaturized spin-exchange relaxation-free(SERF) magnetometer based on uniform light field. The ceramic ferrule is used to expand the Gaussian beam to improve light intensity uniformity, while the volume of the sensor is also reduced. This scheme makes the magnetometer have better sensitivity when the detected light intensity is less than 3.16 m W/cm^(2) at 120℃. When the temperature rises to 150℃ the sensitivity under the action of uniform light field is 18.5 f T/Hz^(1/2). The bandwidth of the sensor remains at the original level and meets application needs. The proposed structure improves transverse polarization uniformity within the miniaturized sensor, which is ideal for the magnetoencephalography and magnetocardiography imaging systems.

Atomic gravimeter can be used for absolute gravity measurement and has the advantages of low drift, high accuracy and good long-term stability. It can be combined with traditional gravimeter to realize long period and high precision dynamic measurement of gravity field at sea. With the development of relevant technologies and the increasing demand of the application market, mobile and miniaturized atomic gravimeters at home and abroad have stepped out of the laboratory and gradually tried to measure absolute gravity in dynamic environments on platforms such as vehicle, ship and airborne. Based on the Marine atomic gravity measurement system of zhejiang University of technology, this paper introduces the system composition, measurement principle and existing difficulties. Based on this system, the first Marine absolute gravity network measurement in China is carried out, and the accuracy of repeated internal check is better than 1mGal. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

As an important link in the industry chain of hydrogen energy, liquid hydrogen has great potential in civil aviation, shipping, and urban public transportation, and is a also key component in the future large-scale industrialization of hydrogen energy. The accuracy of liquid hydrogen flow measurement is crucial in its preparation, storage, transportation, application, and trade settlement during the whole industry chain running. The liquid hydrogen flow standard device is the core equipment to check and calibrate the liquid hydrogen flowmeter, which is the key link to ensure the reliable flow measurement of liquid hydrogen. As a low-temperature fluid with ultra-low viscosity and low density, the non-negligible error would be introduced when the flowmeter is calibrated using other fluids instead such as water, especially in the tiny flow range. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a flow standard device for actual-flow calibration of the liquid hydrogen flowmeters. In this paper, based on the existing research of cryogenic fluid standard devices at home and abroad, a liquid hydrogen flow standard device based on the bi-directional dynamic mass method is designed, using helium to drive the liquid hydrogen in the tank, which can provide the standard flow rate in the small flow range for the calibration and verification of the flowmeter under test. The system is designed to take into account the cryogenic temperature, low viscosity, high flammability and explosivity of the liquid hydrogen, as well as the measurement accuracy. Compared with the cryogenic pump, the high-pressure helium source can provide a more stable and smaller flow rate to achieve the higher accuracy and robustness of the calibration and verification of the flowmeters under the small flow rate of the device. flow measurement is of great importance in many industries, such as the chemical industry, energy and urban drainage. Electromagnetic flowmeter is widely used due to its wide range, high response and suitability for multiphase flow detection. To meet the needs of a wider range of installation scenarios, this paper proposes a new insertion-type right-angled bent electromagnetic flowmeter. The measurement signal of the electromagnetic flowmeter and its internal fluid flow state are closely related, thus Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method is used to optimize the electrode shape and contraction section shape of the electromagnetic flowmeter. Through comparison experiments of flat electrodes and cone electrodes, a better model is obtained. Furthermore, three new models of the contraction section are proposed: the sharp contraction type, the gradual contraction type, and the Widosinski curve contraction section. The experimental data is in good agreement with the results of the large eddy simulation, and the results show that the measurement performance of the cone electrode is better than that of the flat electrode and that the Widosinski curve contraction section is easier to stabilize the flow field inside the flowmeter. The findings of this study provide a new idea for the development and optimization of the measurement performance of the right-angled electromagnetic flowmeters. © 2023, The Authors. High-precision data on absolute gravity have a wide range of applications, including basic science, resource exploration, national defense infrastructure, seismic studies, and inertial navigation, among others. The atomic gravimeter, known for its high sampling rate, accuracy and long-term stability, is particularly well suited for high-precision measurements of absolute gravity in oceanic and deep-sea environments. However, the challenging conditions found in the ocean introduce significant noise into the gravity data obtained from atomic gravimeters. This noise adversely affects the accuracy of gravity measurements, which in turn affects the interpretation of geological structures. Consequently, the analysis and processing of noise in atomic gravimeter data has become a focal point in the research of high-precision absolute oceanic gravity dynamic measurements. In this study, we conducted absolute gravity measurement experiments using the shipboard atomic absolute gravity measurement system developed at zhejiang University of technology. To filter the collected gravity data, we used the Savitzky-Golay (SG) filtering algorithm. This algorithm not only preserves essential measurement information, but also provides superior accuracy compared to conventional filtering methods. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Study on flowrate measurement method based on laminar flow element with curved gap

A curved-gap-type LFM (Laminar flowmeter) is proposed and investigated experimentally. The standard gas LFM and test piece are tested using the same gas flow standard device. The experimental results show that at the same flow point, the differential pressure measured by the curved-gap-type LFM is greater than that measured by the standard meter. This means that the design of the curved gap structure can effectively increase the length of the flow channel and save the space of the flow channel. In the flow range of (0.066–10) L/min, the overall deviation of the curved gap LFM is less than 1 %. This shows that the design of curved gap structure can effectively broaden the measuring range. © 2024
