The electrical and electronic waste or e-waste is the collection of used electrical and electronic components that are assigned for reuse or disposal through proper way without any hazardous consequences. The improper decomposition of the electrical and electronic waste leads to various constraints that leads to disturbances in the ecosystem. The highly toxic substances such as mercury and lead that are released from the electronic components may tend to penetrate in the ground which leads to degrade the soil fertility. This electrical and electronic components contain numerous nonrenewable resources such as silver, cobalt, copper and aluminum alloys and tend to destroy if they are not properly maintained and decomposed. This decomposition of electrical and electronic components are done with artificial intelligence technique to obtain with higher precision. This is accompanied through image processing with optimization techniques.

Rapid industrialization, increased industrial wastes, higher agricultural inputs, and mining have elevated heavy metal (HM) contamination. Authorized nuclear waste discharge, nuclear weapon testing, etc., led to dissipation of radionuclides (RNs), into the geo-environment. Thus, unregulated utilization of such detrimental toxic substances needs proper attention. Without adequate management, the risk of mobilisation of HMs and RNs to the food web through crops and animals channel results into biomagnifications. Worldwide Researchers have been attracted towards phytoremediation techniques to clean up the contaminated environment without causing further ecological disturbances. Consequently, we have reviewed the environmental concerns of HMs and RNs owing to their physical and chemical behavior in the environment. We have also discussed various phytoremediation techniques and post-phytoremediation methods for sustainable remediation of targeted contaminants. In addition to that, the review comprises essential aspects of enhancing phytoremediation strategy by applying various soil amendments such as biochar, organic matters, organic acid exudates, humic substances, and factors for selecting hyperaccumulator plants. Deliberation regarding the management of biomass generated during phytoremediation process is also highlighted. Therefore, we focus on assessing various post-phytoremediation management strategies, including proper disposal of contaminated biomass, preparation of bio sorbent, bio fuel, biogas, nanoparticles, and bio fortification of essential nutritionally important HMs into various foods. Besides this, future implications of such an enhanced plant mediated remediation process are also suggested. © 2021

As the pandemic Covid-19 erupted worldwide in 2020, the entire world rapidly adopted online education as a means of sustaining the education system in universities and schools. However, the majority of students were unfamiliar with these methods, as they were accustomed to traditional classrooms. Some students may prefer online education over traditional education, but online education stress remains a persistent issue. This study investigated the stress encountered by students during online learning sessions. 220 university students participated in this quantitative correlational study. On the basis of 11 items developed and tested using Confirmatory Factor Analysis, a questionnaire consisting of three constructs of online learning stress, financial capacity, and positive perception of online learning was developed and administered. The data were subsequently evaluated using the Structural Model in order to comprehend the relationships between the variables. The model was discovered to have a high level of fitness and validity. Positive perceptions of online learning were discovered to predict student stress negatively. The financial capacity of students to purchase the necessary devices for online learning sessions had no effect on their stress levels. However, financial capacity is the antecedent of how positively students viewed online learning for themselves. This suggests that for online education to be successful, it is crucial to consider the students' perceptions by evaluating their access to all the devices and technologies associated with online learning.

The remote forcing from land surface changes in the Sahara is hypothesized to play a pivotal role in modulating the intensity of the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM)through ocean-atmospheric *** modulation has far-reaching consequences,particularly in facilitating societal shifts documented in northern ***,we present a well-dated lake-level record from the Daihai Lake Basin in northern China,providing quantitative assessments of Holocene monsoonal precipitation and the consequent migrations of the northern boundary of the *** reconstruction,informed by a water-and-energy balance model,indicates that annual precipitation reached700 mm during 8–5 ka,followed by a rapid decline to tween 5 and 4 *** shift coherently aligns with a signi550 mm be-ficant300 km northwestward movement of the EASM northern boundary during the Middle Holocene(MH),in contrast to its current *** findings underscore that these changes cannot be entirely attributed to orbital forcing,as corroborated by simulation *** model simulations deployed in our study suggest that the presence of the Green Sahara during the MH significantly strengthened the EASM and led to a northward shift of the monsoon rainfall ***,the Sahara’s reversion to a desert landscape in the late Holocene was accompanied by a corresponding southward retraction of monsoon *** dramatic hydroclimate changes during5–4 ka likely triggered or at least contributed to a shift in Neolithic cultures and societal transformation in northern *** decreasing agricultural productivity,communities transitioned from millet farming to a mixed rainfed agriculture and animal husbandry ***,our findings elucidate not only the variability of the EASM but also the profound implications of a remote forcing,such as surface transformations of the Sahara,on climatic changes and cultural evolution in northern China.

The transition from in-person to online classes, accelerated by the global impact of Covid-19, has brought both accessibility and disengagement challenges. While online platforms facilitate learning for distant and international students, the loss of interactive elements diminishes the overall educational experience. This article proposes a novel solution inspired by MIT Professor Dr. Patrick Winston's concept of using “props” to enhance learning. Leveraging augmented reality (AR) technology, an application can be developed to introduce tangible AR elements into the online learning environment. The design and methodology outline the use of Python libraries, including OpenCV and Mediapipe, along with the Intel RealSense D435 depth camera. By employing hand-tracking techniques, real-world coordinates are deduced, allowing the creation of interactive AR objects. Trigonometry is utilized to convert 3D coordinates into 2D projections on the video screen, ensuring accurate representation. The visual perception of depth is achieved by subdividing lines, allowing for the dynamic interaction of virtual objects and real hands. The results and analysis section showcases the functionality of the developed application. A 3D cube or prism appears on-screen, responding to touch and rotation gestures. The collision detection algorithm, assuming a spherical bounding box, determines whether the cube is touched, altering its color and position accordingly. Limitations, such as the imprecise collision area for elongated shapes and potential aliasing issues, are discussed as sources of error. Looking forward, the discussion section explores future enhancements and applications. Incorporating advanced modeling tools like OpenGL or Wavefront could introduce more complex 3D models. Interactive features such as hand gestures for rotation or grabbing could further enrich the online learning experience. In recent years, the Internet Celebrities (ICs) have emerged as the most influential factor on adolescents. Although ICs are simply other users uploading their user-generated content (UGC), they attract followers through their unique combination of similarity, sociability, and a sense of being different from the audience. While ICs were widely discussed in fields like marketing and youth culture, few researches studied their education value. Our study utilize Uses and Gratifications Theory to extract students’ perceptive motivation to learn from ICs’ videos. We surveyed 101 high school students about their motivations to use ICs’ video to learn enterprise finance. These students considered Entertainment, Convenience, and Information were major gratifications they would get by learning from ICs’ videos. We also found past experience with ICs’ videos did influence student’s perceptive Escapism gratification. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

The purpose of the study was to explore the direct effects of vocational students’ study stress and social support on physical and mental health as well as to evaluate the moderating role of social support between study stress and physical and mental health. Data was collected from 232 vocational Data Processing department students in Taiwan and was analyzed using hierarchical regression. The results show that vocational students’ study stress had a negative effect on physical and mental health, and parental support had positive influences on physical and mental health. In addition to the direct effect, partial support for teachers’ support can reduce the negative impact of academic stress on physical health. Partial support for classmate support can reduce the negative impact of academic stress on mental and physical health. Through these empirical findings, practical implications and suggestions for further research were discussed. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

Geographic simulation models can be used to explore and better understand the geographical environment. Recent advances in geographic and socio-environmental research have led to a dramatic increase in the number of models used for this purpose. Some model repositories provide opportunities for users to explore and apply models,but few provide a general evaluation method for assessing the applicability and recognition of models. In this study,an academic impact evaluation method for models is proposed. Five indices are designed based on their pertinence. The analytical hierarchy process is used to calculate the index weights,and the academic impacts of models are quantified with the weighted sum method. The time range is controlled to evaluate the life-term and annual academic impacts of the models. Some models that met the evaluation criteria from different domains are then evaluated. The results show that the academic impact of a model can be quantified with the proposed method,and the major research areas that models impact are identified.
