Atmospheric oxidizing capacity(AOC)is an essential driving force of troposphere chemistry and self-cleaning,but the definition of AOC and its quantitative representation remain *** by national demand for air pollution control in recent years,Chinese scholars have carried out studies on theories of atmospheric chemistry and have made considerable progress in AOC *** paper will give a brief review of these ***,AOC indexes were established that represent apparent atmospheric oxidizing ability(AOIe)and potential atmospheric oxidizing ability(AOIp)based on aspects of macrothermodynamics and microdynamics,respectively.A closed study refined the quantitative contributions of heterogeneous chemistry to AOC in Beijing,and these AOC methods were further applied in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and key areas across the *** addition,the detection of ground or vertical profiles for atmospheric OH·,HO_(2)·,NO_(3)·radicals and reservoir molecules can now be obtained with domestic instruments in diverse ***,laboratory smoke chamber simulations revealed heterogeneous processes involving reactions of O_(3)and NO_(2),which are typical oxidants in the surface/interface atmosphere,and the evolutionary and budgetary implications of atmospheric oxidants reacting under multispecies,multiphase and multi-interface conditions were ***,based on the GRAPES-CUACE adjoint model improved by Chinese scholars,simulations of key substances affecting atmospheric oxidation and secondary organic and inorganic aerosol formation have been *** numerical simulations of AOIe and AOIp were performed,and regional coordination of AOC was *** optimized plan for controlling O_(3)and PM2.5was analyzed by scenario simulation.

Preserving details and avoiding high computational costs are the two main challenges for the High-Resolution Salient Object Detection (HRSOD) task. In this paper, we propose a two-stage HRSOD model from the perspective of evolution and succession, including an evolution stage with Low-resolution Location Model (LrLM) and a succession stage with High-resolution Refinement Model (HrRM). The evolution stage achieves detail-preserving salient objects localization on the low-resolution image through the evolution mechanisms on supervision and feature; the succession stage utilizes the shallow high-resolution features to complement and enhance the features inherited from the first stage in a lightweight manner and generate the final high-resolution saliency prediction. Besides, a new metric named Boundary-Detail-aware Mean Absolute Error (MAEBD) is designed to evaluate the ability to detect details in high-resolution scenes. Extensive experiments on five datasets demonstrate that our network achieves superior performance at real-time speed (49 FPS) compared to state-of-the-art methods. This study investigates the impact of multi-bit function perturbations (MFPs) on the steady-state distribution of Boolean networks (BNs), with a focus on robust stability. First, the algebraic formulation of BNs under MFPs is introduced. Then, a novel stability criterion is proposed, demonstrating that monotonically decreasing perturbations can effectively ensure the stability of BNs against MFPs. A significant advantage of this approach is that it enables robust stability assessment without remodeling the perturbed BNs. Applying this methodology to a simplified Boolean model of the lactose operon in Escherichia coli reveals that MFPs can serve as strategic tools to promote stability within BNs, rather than being merely disruptive.

A SAR Deceptive Jamming Suppression Method Based on PRI Variation Design and Multi-Channel Principle

The synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can be affected by various types of jamming during operation. Among them, the deceptive jamming generated by digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) jammers poses a serious threat to SAR imaging by creating highly realistic false targets. Moreover, with advancements in deceptive jamming technology, the generation speed of deceptive jamming has increased, rendering existing methods less effective. To address this issue, an anti-deceptive jamming method based on pulse repetition interval (PRI) variation design and multi-channel principle is proposed to mitigate the effects of deceptive jamming. First, a PRI variation strategy that will not cause the loss of echo signals in the imaging area is designed. By utilizing this strategy for imaging, deceptive jamming signals are dispersed across different ranges, resulting in preliminary suppression of the jamming. Subsequently, after azimuth non-uniform sampling reconstruction and range processing, most of the jamming signals are suppressed due to the azimuth timing differences between SAR and jamming signals. However, when the jammer uses specific retransmission intervals, such as the average PRI of the PRI sequence, the jamming signals may be concentrated at certain ranges, retaining some coherence and posing a threat to SAR imaging. To overcome this challenge, a residual jamming detection and suppression algorithm based on multi-channel principle is proposed, which can detect and filter out the channels affected by jamming. Finally, an azimuth sparse reconstruction is introduced for azimuth processing. Since the anti-jamming principle of this method relies on the differences in azimuth timing between SAR and jamming, it can suppress deceptive jamming even when the generation speed of deceptive jamming is rapid, which some other anti-deceptive jamming methods cannot achieve. Infrastructure-based vehicle localization, in comparison to single-agent approaches, offers several advantages including reduced system cost, extended perception range, enhanced data fusion capabilities, and energy savings. Many conventional approaches impose limitations on the types of objects due to the need for specific object-end modifications, such as applying perceptual markers like color-labeled plates and reflective balls. LiDAR presents a solution in terms of object arbitrariness, as it addresses the challenges of feature-free object modeling and continuous registration. However, achieving complete environmental coverage with LiDAR remains prohibitively expensive, particularly in extensive areas. Hence, this study proposes a cross-modal localization approach using adaptive modeling, employing LiDAR for object modeling and cost-effective sensor cameras for object tracking through image-point-cloud registration. Accurate correspondence between the model and observation can be estimated in real-time. The experiments are conducted in a typical scenario that requires adaptive modeling: Autonomous Valet Parking (AVP). Results demonstrate that the proposed system achieves comparable performance with significantly reduced system costs, highlighting its potential for large-scale deployment.

Maintaining low modulus while endowing the wide-range linear stretchability to wearable or implantable devices is crucial for these devices to reduce the mechanical mismatch between the devices and human skin/tissue ***,improving linear stretchability often results in an increased modulus of stretchable electronic materials,which hinders their conformability in long-term quantifiable monitoring of ***,we develop a hybrid structure involving interlocking low-modulus porous elastomers(Ecoflex-0030)and MXene-based hydrogels with crosslinking networks of polyvinyl alcohol,sodium alginate,and *** hydrogel–elastomer structure exhibits superior performance compared with previous reports,with a wide linear stretchability strain range from 0 to 1000%and maintaining a low modulus of 6.4 ***,the hydrogel–elastomer hybrids can be utilized as highly sensitive strain sensors with remarkable characteristics,including high sensitivity(gauge factor~3.52),a linear correlation between the resistance and strain(0–200%),rapid response(0.18 s)and recovery times(0.21 s),and excellent electrical reproducibility(1000 loading–unloading cycles).Those electrical and mechanical properties allow the sensor to act as a suitable quantifiable equipment in organ monitoring,human activities detecting,and human–machine interactions.

When tracking densely distributed targets such as insects, the traditional trajectory association algorithm exhibits poor correlation performance, leading to a decline in multi-target tracking efficiency. In this paper, based on the behavioral characteristics of insects gathering and co-orienting during aerial flight, a motion dynamic feature-assisted multi-target tracking method is proposed. Firstly, a three-dimensional biological distribution state matrix is constructed through spatial gridization. Then, a three-dimensional circular convolution is employed to estimate the target's motion dynamic feature, assisting in multi-target trajectory initialization. Finally, the improvement effect of the method on trajectory tracking accuracy is validated through simulations and migration insect data. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023.

Open Grounded Planning: Challenges and Benchmark Construction

The emergence of large language models (LLMs) has increasingly drawn attention to the use of LLMs for human-like planning. Existing work on LLM-based planning either focuses on leveraging the inherent language generation capabilities of LLMs to produce free-style plans or employs reinforcement learning approaches to learn decision-making for a limited set of actions within restricted environments. However, both approaches exhibit significant discrepancies between the open and executable requirements in real-world planning. In this paper, we propose a new planning task—open grounded planning. The primary objective of open grounded planning is to ask the model to generate an executable plan based on a variable action set, thereby ensuring the executability of the produced plan. To this end, we establish a benchmark for open grounded planning spanning a wide range of domains. Then we test current state-of-the-art LLMs along with five planning approaches, revealing that existing LLMs and methods still struggle to address the challenges posed by grounded planning in open domains. The outcomes of this paper define and establish a foundational dataset for open grounded planning, and shed light on the potential challenges and future directions of LLM-based planning. In indoor environments where the Global Navigation Satellite system (GNSS) isn’t available, the infrastructure-based LiDAR-camera joint array can provide high-precision localization for mobile robots, such as Autonomous Valet Parking (AVP). The primary challenge in employing the infrastructure-based LiDAR-camera joint array is the extrinsic calibration between the LiDAR and the camera. Moreover, to handle interference deviation caused by vibrations or inadequate mounting stiffness during operation, the calibration’s extrinsic parameters must be automatically updated online, presenting higher demands for infrastructure-based LiDAR-camera extrinsic calibration. This paper proposes an infrastructure LiDAR-camera online automatic calibration method based on prior knowledge of cross-modal target registration. This method requires no manual targets and initial pose guesses and can achieve extrinsic calibration. The object-prior model based on a lightweight object detection algorithm can rapidly detect scenes favorable for extrinsic calibration in sub-images of camera images. This creates favorable conditions for the registration of cross-modal networks and poses optimization of the LiDAR camera. Additionally, because a lightweight algorithm is used, the process does not compromise efficiency or consume excessive computational resources. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed calibration method is suitable for calibrating infrastructure-based LiDAR-camera, with comparable accuracy and the ability to perform online calibration. Comparative experiments also show that the object-prior model can indeed select better scenes for LiDAR-camera extrinsic calibration, thus improving the accuracy and stability of extrinsic calibration to some extent.
