The safety assessment of stage performing arts equipment for the temporary site is an urgent task to be solved. In this paper, the lifting equipment is chosen for risk analysis, safety circuit identification and safety integrity level (SIL) calculation. The Hazard and Operability Study(HAZOP) and Layer Of Protection Analysis(LOPA)-based method is studied to get the expected SIL level of the related safety loops. In addition, the fault tree and Markov model methods are used to verify the actual SIL level under the existing loop structure respectively. This study provides the theory and data basis for the development of safety requirements and evaluation standards for the temporary theater of stage machinery, which has certain theoretical significance and application value. © 2023 IEEE.

Semi-supervised Speech Lie Detection Algorithm Based on Multiple Features and Adaptive Threshold

The limited number of labeled samples can significantly affect the accuracy of speech lie detection systems. However, semi-supervised algorithms have been shown to effectively improve detection performance under such constraints. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a semi-supervised speech lie detection algorithm that utilizes multiple features and adaptive thresholds. First, through comparative analysis, this paper identifies 312-dimensional acoustic features and 768-dimensional self-supervised features as the key elements of lie detection. Then, these acoustic features are processed using a bidirectional long short-term memory network (Bi-LSTM), which obtains comprehensive information by analyzing acoustic statistical features in both forward and backward directions. Subsequently, this paper develops a semi-supervised feature fusion module (BSFM) to extract deeper insights from basic features and achieves adaptive feature fusion through targeted training. In addition, based on a detailed analysis of the distribution characteristics of lie detection samples, this paper proposes an improved Freematch algorithm to better utilize unlabeled data. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms most existing methods on the self-built H-Wolf dataset and the Columbia/SRI/Colorado Corpus (CSC). © (2025), (International Association of Engineers). With the rapid advancement of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors, it has become more important to extract change information between high-resolution SAR images. Considering the efficacy and robustness of segmentation-based strategy in solving fine-resolution images, as well as the excellent performance of deep learning in feature extraction, therefore, in this paper, we propose an unsupervised region-level graph convolutional network (URGCN) for SAR change detection. Firstly, we propose a multi-temporal joint segmentation method to generate multi-level regions. This method can simultaneously segment bi-temporal SAR images and automatically align bi-temporal regions during segmentation process. We then perform pre-classification on difference images generated by neighborhood ratio detector. The high confidence training samples are selected through hierarchical clustering. Thirdly, we encode the segmented regions are as a graph structure and construct GCN model. The graph can capture the spatial and temporal structure information. Finally, the GCN model parameters are optimized by labeled samples and inferring unlabeled regions. Experimental results on two VHR SAR change detection datasets demonstrated that the proposed method can extract complete change information with high accuracy compared to alternative approaches. © 2024 SPIE.

Federated learning (FL) is a popular distributed paradigm where enormous clients collaboratively train a machine learning (ML) model under the orchestration of a central server without knowing the clients' private raw data. The development of effective FL algorithms faces multiple practical challenges including data heterogeneity and clients' privacy protection. Despite that numerous attempts have been made to deal with data heterogeneity or rigorous privacy protection, none have effectively tackled both issues simultaneously. In this article, we propose a differentially private and heterogeneity-robust FL algorithm, named DP-FedCVR to mitigate the data heterogeneity by following the client-variance-reduction strategy. Besides, it adopts a sophisticated differential privacy (DP) mechanism where the privacy-amplified strategy is applied, to achieve a rigorous privacy protection guarantee. We show that the proposed DP-FedCVR algorithm maintains its heterogeneity-robustness though DP noises are incorporated, while achieving a sublinear convergence rate for a nonconvex FL problem. Numerical experiments based on image classification tasks are presented to demonstrate that DP-FedCVR provides superior performance over the benchmark algorithms in the presence of data heterogeneity and various DP privacy budgets. © 2020 IEEE.

The binary defocusing technique is sensitive to the defocusing degree. The defocusing projection mechanism will introduce high-frequency harmonics at the inappropriate defocused level, leading to limitations in measurement accuracy and depth range. In this paper, a binary-focusing projection technique combining generative adversarial networks is proposed. First, the focusing binary patterns based on error diffusion are projected on the measured surface, and then the captured fringe patterns are input to generative adversarial networks, which achieves sinusoidal correction and optimization for both the focused region and the low-quality defocused region due to its strong image translation ability. Finally, 3D measurement is realized by a phase-shifting algorithm. Compared with the traditional binary defocusing technique, the proposed method is not limited by the defocusing degree and maintains the advantages of high-speed projection, so it can achieve a larger measured depth range and improve measurement accuracy. Simulation and experiments verify the performance of the proposed method. © 2023 SPIE.

This article addresses an adaptive tracking control problem for uncertain high-order fully actuated (HOFA) systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. Under the framework of backstepping, the unknown parameter is estimated and the external disturbance is handled by using adaptive control and H8 technique, respectively. Moreover, the Levant differentiator is employed to reduce the computation burden. Additionally, the boundedness of signals in the closed-loop system is proven using the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is validated through the simulation study. © 2024 IEEE.

An improved adaptive variational Bayesian (VB) nonlinear filter is proposed. Through Cubature sampling, inverse Wishart distribution is introduced to jointly estimate system states and inaccurate measurement noise for nonlinear systems. Furthermore, to avoid non-positive definite problem of the state covariance matrix in joint estimation, Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is introduced to VBCKF, based on which SVD-VBCKF is designed. Besides, computational complexity of proposed filter is analyzed theoretically. With the increasing number of satellites being launched in China,the demand for Telemetry,Tracking,and Command(TT&C)resources is also *** of the global coverage and resource requirements of TT&C management,this paper proposes a TT&C scheme based on the Global Short-Message Communication system(GSMCS)of the BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite system(BDS-3).The system composition,workflow,and functions of satellite TT&C are analyzed using the GSMCS of *** the coverage analysis of the Medium Earth Orbit(MEO)constellation of BDS-3,scheme’s applicability is pointed out,and the correctness of the analysis results is verified via *** value range of the link distance is derived by calculating the range of the distance variation between any 2 satellites in the BDS-3 MEO constellation and combining the intersatellite routing *** calculation results show that the response time range of the autonomous request management application of in-orbit satellites based on the GSMCS of BDS-3 is 1.407 to 2.448 *** can meet the requirements of TT&C service.

Multi-agent consensus equilibrium(MACE) mechanism is a generalization of popular used PnP-ADMM method in computational imaging. We propose a novel SAR processing framework based on MACE mechanism, named by MACE-SAR. The proposed framework offers the possibility to unify various SAR processing agents of both data-driven learned priors and physics-based regularization priors, enabling the integration of diverse functions and enhance the image reconstruction quality. We exemplifies how the MACE-SAR framework can be customized to combine SAR image formation, feature enhancement, image denoising, target detection, etc. The effectiveness of the framework is demonstrated through experiments conducted on simulated and Gaofen-3 satellite real data. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.
