To solve the multi-platform user association problem of complex trajectory matching process and high time cost in cross-platform association positioning of instant messaging users, and at the same time make full use of the information in user trajectories, this paper proposes a supervised learning-based cross-platform instant messaging user association positioning method. The algorithm firstly places probes in the area where the target may appear to obtain user information;then gets user trajectories through the obtained user distance information and time information;selects user features through the classification algorithm of supervised learning, and designs a cross-platform instant messaging user association localization method based on supervised learning, so as to increase the association efficiency and accuracy of cross-platform instant messaging user association. The method conducts specific experiments for the most commonly used instant messaging tools in China, WeChat and Stranger users, and the results show that the method can achieve efficient and reliable association for these two types of instant messaging users. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Assessment of hydraulic performance changes of Dongting Lake after the Three Gorges Reservoir impoundment by a novel semi-empirical approach

Floodplain lakes are important water storage areas in lowland regions that often undergo geomorphologic evolution,and timely topographic data are generally *** this study,to assess the impacts of lakebed deformation on hydraulic performance in Dongting Lake,a set of semi-empirical methods was proposed to establish performance graphs(PGs)using only hydrological *** methods were used to evaluate the changes in water level,storage capacity,and flood detention ability in Dongting Lake caused by topographic adjustment after the Three Gorges Reservoir *** methods showed that PGs can effectively simulate the water level and outflow processes of Dongting Lake with Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency coefficients(NSEs)above 0.9.A comparison of the estimated water level and discharge using PGs from different periods suggested that bed erosion in Dongting Lake caused water level decreases of 0.18 m and 0.32 m during the flood and dry seasons,*** the magnitude of erosion at high elevations in the lake is small,the impacts of bed adjustment on the storage capacity and flood detention ability are not currently *** study showed that the hydraulic performance of a floodplain lake can be evaluated independently of topographic data under the condition of no reverse flows or negative watersurface slopes.

Numerical study on the wave pattern characteristic of air layer in cavity and the effects of multiple influence factors

Air-layer drag reduction (ALDR) technology for ship energy saving is getting more and more attention in recent years because of the outstanding drag reduction effect. In order to promote practical application, it is necessary to fully understand the two phase flow characteristics of the air layer. Recent experimental studies have shown that the surface of the air layer presents wave pattern, which has an important influence on its damage risk. However, it is difficult to measure the wave pattern quantificationally due to the interference of equipment. The main goal of the present paper is to investigate the wave pattern characteristic of air layer in cavity using numerical simulation method. On this basis, the effect of flow and geometric influence factors are discussed to understand the key control conditions. A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) numerical method based on Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations and volume of fluid (VOF) interface capturing method is established, and has been successfully applied in the simulation of air layer wave pattern. Both 2-D and 3-D simulations are carried out, aiming at analyzing air-water interface flow and vortex flow directly. Based on the simulation results, several important conclusions about the mechanism of air layer wave pattern can be obtained. Firstly, it is found to be an inherent characteristic that the wave height of the upstream air layer is higher than that of the downstream. The extremely high wave peak is easy to contact with the flat plate, leading to the breakup of air layer and a “central blank area” phenomenon. With the help of flow analysis, it is found that this characteristic is mainly caused by the strong counterclockwise vortex behind the bow wedge block. Secondly, the air layer stability is reduced with the increase of water flow velocity by affecting the wave height. Most of the images on the Internet are color images, and steganalysis of color images is a very critical issue in the field of steganalysis. The current proposed color image steganalysis features mainly rely on manual design, and the steganalysis features do not fully consider the internal connections between the three channels of color images. Most steganalyzers based on deep learning are also designed for grayscale images. In recent years, the continuous introduction of advanced steganography techniques for color images has also brought more severe challenges to the steganography analysis of color images. Quaternions are a tool that can effectively represent color images, and utilizing quaternion transformations can fully exploit the correlation between color image channels. Combining quaternion theory with convolutional neural networks, this paper proposed a color image steganalysis algorithm based on quaternion convolutional neural networks. Firstly, the image is represented by quaternion, and then input into the quaternion convolutional neural network. The convolution kernel in the network is composed of quaternions, and then perform convolution and pooling. To better understand the aerodynamic reasons for highly organized movements of flying organisms,the three-flapping wing system in tandem formation was studied numerically in this *** from previous relevant studies on the multiple flapping wings that are equally spaced,this study emphasizes the impact of unequal spacing between individuals on the aerodynamics of each individual wing as well as the whole *** is found that swapping the distance between the first and second wing with the distance between the second wing and the rearmost wing does not affect the overall aerodynamic performance,but significantly changes the distribution of aerodynamic benefits across each *** the whole flapping cycle,three effects are at *** narrow channel effect and the downwash effect can promote and weaken the wing lift,respectively,while the wake capture effect can boost the *** also shows that these effects could be manipulated by changing the spacing between adjacent *** findings provide a novel way for flow control in tandem formation flight and are also inspiring for designing the formation flight of bionic aircraft.

The steel catenary riser (SCR), being a crucial component that connects subsea oil and gas resources to surface storage and transportation facilities, can result in significant losses when damaged. Traditional risk assessment methods typically focus solely on the reliability of the riser system. However, the recoverability from a failure is of equally importance due to the economics and environmental concerns. To assess both the reliability and recoverability of the riser, the resilience assessment methodology is proposed. The resilience assessment process is divided into two parts, namely degradation process and recovery process, both of which are calculated through Dynamic Bayesian Networks (DBN). © 2024 by the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE).

With the proliferation of data-intensive industrial applications, the collaboration of computing powers among standalone edge servers is vital to provision such services for smart devices. In this paper, we propose an edge-driven industrial computing power network (CPN) by orchestrating the computing and network resources of edge servers through the centralized resource scheduling and decentralized task computing. However, efficient task offloading and collaborative processing is challenging, which requires higher degrees of network automation and intelligence. Therefore, we incorporate digital twins (DTs) into the edge-driven CPN architecture, where the DTs are created as the digital replicas to assist both the computation offloading and collaborative processing. A joint optimization problem of the computing power assignment, service association, task partition, and transmit power control is formulated for maximizing the system average weighted utility. Due to the temporal-spatial variability of tasks and the resulted dynamic environment, we transform the original problem as a Markov decision process aiming at maximizing the long-term average weighted utility. To efficiently handle the high-dimensional discrete-continuous action space, a hybrid soft actor-critic based deep reinforcement learning algorithm is developed for optimizing the joint design. Simulation results validate the superiority of our proposed algorithm over the benchmarks, showing the significant gains obtained by integrating DTs into the edge-driven CPN. © 1967-2012 IEEE.
