Mount Rinjani National Park on Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara, has become a popular ecotourism destination. However, the management of this ecotourism is still not optimal, especially in terms of online marketing efforts. The positive response from tourists to this effort shows great potential for further development. The community needs a separate information system to overcome these problems. This research aims to develop an API for an application called Rinjani Visitor. This API development will use the REST architecture due to its flexibility and scalability, with JSON as the data communication format. The extreme programming method was chosen for system development because it is flexible and adaptive to changing needs. The developed REST API has successfully passed testing with the black box method to test the functionality of each endpoint and obtained satisfactory results for performance testing. This REST API was deployed to Google Cloud, integrated into web and mobile applications, and then released to the public. With an information system like this, it is hoped that the management of the ecotourism business in the Mount Rinjani area can be optimized. © 2024 IEEE.

Fast fashion presents products with designs that change quickly according to trends but at lower prices. This condition forces fast fashion business actors to update their stock quickly. However, uncertain public demand often results in piles of stock in the warehouse. One way to overcome this is to provide discounts through bundling product sales. In order for bundling product recommendations to be right on target, it is necessary to consider the level of complementarity of product combinations with public interest. The complementarity level of product combinations by public interest can be obtained by analyzing sales data. In this study, a bundling product recommendation system was developed and integrated with the purchasing and sales information system. Bundling product recommendations are carried out using the apriori algorithm. The recommendation system was applied using sales data from the information system between December 27, 2023 and January 2, 2024. The minimum support used was 0.1, and the minimum confidence used was 0.4. The system produces three bundling product recommendations within 30 seconds and showing that most consumers are inclined to buy a cloth set (tops and pants) and prefer neutral colors, namely white and black. The time required by the system to generate recommendations is 97.6% faster than if done manually. In addition, four fashion store owners validated the developed information system and the recommendation results. The validation results stated that the system facilitates business administration, monitors stock, analyzes consumer behavior, and develops marketing strategies with bundling promos. Finally, integrating the information and recommendation systems can increase data consistency and reduce data input time by 50% compared to systems developed separately. © 2024 IEEE.

The research focuses on the process of creating a data warehouse to meet the decision-making needs of a Greek beverage company. The data cover the period from 2018 to 2022. The developed data warehouse schema follows the star schema, with one fact table and five-dimension tables. Based on this structure, a web application was developed in PHP, which displays reports, charts, and analyses on the company's performance through interactive queries. Additionally, prediction functions tailored to the company's data were developed in Python. The process followed, the queries for creating the data warehouse, as well as the commands for creating analyses and predictions, serve as a useful guide for other companies that wish to upgrade the capabilities of their ERP systems. © 2024 IEEE.

In this research study, we present a novel design of a four-fingered robotic hand for T-FLoW 4.0 humanoid robot along with its experiments to validate its grasping performance. Our proposed robotic hand designed with four fingers and five Degree-of-Freedom (DoF), with a configuration of a thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers to remain within the criteria of an anthropomorphic type robot hand. Our hand is built with a modular design on each finger and its mechanism, allowing for easy assembly and achieving a compact hand result. Main controller Arduino Mega implement the system for grasping movement, and then PCA9685 PWM controller get the hand movement instructions from it and generates the required PWM signal for the servo motors. The process of manufacturing the hand involves 3D printing technology to produce hands with a realistic appearance, and use PLA filament material achieve lightweight, affordable, and easy-To-maintain outcomes. The grasping experimental results show that our proposed robotic hand could perform basic grasping movements on household objects. With the use of Cini's taxonomy of grasp as the hand functionality standard, we achieved a success rate of 8 out of 14 tests conducted. © 2023 IEEE.

Diabetes is a pervasive global health issue, affecting millions of individuals worldwide. Early detection is critical for effective management and preventing severe complications. However, the invasiveness of conventional blood-based testing methods often discourages regular screening, leading to delayed diagnosis and intervention. Traditional diagnostic methods for diabetes typically involve invasive procedures, such as blood sampling, which can be uncomfortable and inconvenient for patients. This impediment to regular screening can result in delayed diagnosis and less effective disease management. This article proposes a non-invasive, machine-learning-driven diagnostic tool that can detect diabetes by analyzing tongue images. This solution is based on the hypothesis that the tongue exhibits physiological changes associated with diabetes, such as alterations in color and texture. The article trains the models on a large set of labeled tongue images using two main machine-learning algorithms: support vector machines (SVM) and k-nearest neighbors (KNN). This allows the models to correctly identify diabetic patients. The classification process showed that both SVM and KNN demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach. The SVM model's performance metrics and accuracy were precision 98%, recall 87%, F1_score 92%, and accuracy 91.9%, whereas the KNN classification report provides similar insights for the KNN model with precision 96%, recall 94%, F1_score 95%, and accuracy 94.9%. Our findings underscore the potential of this non-invasive diagnostic tool to transform diabetes detection, making it more accessible and less burdensome for patients. This innovative work seeks to transform diabetes diagnosis by providing a practical and comfortable alternative that improves early detection and, in turn, improves patient safety and satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.

Electric vehicles, or EVs, have drawn a lot of attention lately as an eco-friendly way to cut carbon emissions and lessen reliance on fossil fuels. This work uses a neural network model called Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), which is effective at processing sequential input, to analyze user attitudes toward electric vehicles. Opinion data were gathered from the social media network Twitter between March 1st and March 31st, 2023, using the keyword "electric vehicles". Based on the obtained opinion data, the LSTM approach is utilized to categorize sentiments as positive or negative. Implementation of the random oversampling technique is important to be applied in increasing the accuracy of the n recall model for the specified class. The study's conclusions show that the LSTM model performs admirably when it comes to sentiment analysis using the test dataset. The model evaluation yields a precision of 99.65% and an accuracy rating of 97.79%. The modeling process is carried out with variance splitting data where the highest accuracy is obtained from a comparison of training testing data of 90%: 10%. © 2024 IEEE.

The tourism industry in the West Southeast Nusa Province (NTB), especially destinations such as Lombok Island, is facing severe challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused a decline in tourist visits and hindered the recovery of the tourism sector. To restore this sector, the promotion of halal tourism services became the main focus, backed by the branding of Lombok Island as the 'Isle of a Thousand Mosques,' which potentially attracts the interest of Muslim tourists seeking tourism experiences by the principles of Syariah. So, it requires an application that is easy to use and accessible anywhere by tourists. The application design process adopts the Design Thinking method through the stages of empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. Exploring the needs and perspectives of halal tourism industry experts and tourism users is done to understand the challenges and opportunities in creating innovative and high-quality prototypes. The User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 80.5 with a grade of 'A.' The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) was used to assess the utility and performance of the application, and it obtained a 99.7% score in the category 'very good.' The test results concluded that the UI/UX design, with the experts' involvement, can produce a practical solution and meet users' needs, thus improving the quality of services for tourists. © 2024 IEEE.

Assessing the behavior and welfare of chickens is crucial for successful chicken rearing and product quality. Recent research has focused on using advanced cameras and computer vision technologies to analyze chicken behavior. This camera-based approach captures high-resolution video footage, which is then processed using computer vision algorithms to extract insights on movement patterns, feeding behavior, and social interactions. While this approach has advanced our understanding, there is a need for studies employing a frame-by-frame analysis to obtain fine-grained details of chicken behavior. This method allows for precise measurements and real-Time analysis, facilitating informed decision-making in chicken farming. To expedite the assessment process, a bandpass filter 470 nm lens is incorporated into the camera setup, optimizing image segmentation and reducing processing time. The proposed system combines this specialized camera with frame-by-frame calculations to track and measure the velocity, acceleration, and position of chickens within a flock. The integration of these technologies holds the potential for improving our understanding of chicken behavior, enhancing welfare, and driving data-driven decision-making in chicken farming practices. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a comparative study of two control methods aimed at enhancing the motion smoothness of Dynamixel XL320 servo motors, which are widely used in small-scale robotics applications. We evaluate the performance of traditional Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control against a novel approach using sinusoidal motion profiles. The study employs a custom experimental setup, utilizing an U2D2 and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for real-Time motion analysis. Performance metrics include jerk analysis, spectral analysis of position data, and IMU-based g-force measurements. Our experiments encompass various load conditions and movement patterns to assess the robustness of each control method. Results indicate that the sinusoidal motion profile approach achieves 36% improvement compared to optimized PID control. These findings suggest that sinusoidal motion profiles offer significant advantages in applications requiring smooth and precise movements, such as robotic arms and delicate manipulation tasks. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to improve motion control in compact servo systems, with potential implications for enhancing the overall performance and efficiency of small-scale robotic applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Tourism, including West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is crucial in regional economic development. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a drastic decline in tourists, impacting hotel occupancy and demand for tour packages. Strategies to increase tourist visits are needed to address these challenges, focusing on the halal tourism market, which holds significant potential in NTB. The halal tourism market segment is highly significant in terms of visitor number and expenditure during travel. Digital promotion through technology is considered key to achieving this target. Therefore, developing a halal tourism application using the Scrum method will facilitate effective tourism promotion and services. Scrum is chosen for its advantages in effective team coordination, quick adaptation to changes, and active stakeholder involvement. This study examines the role of the hotel industry and travel agents in the Scrum team for the development of an integrated halal tourism application, aiming to produce an application that meets the expectations and needs of tourism stakeholders, increases tourist visits, and supports the recovery of the tourism sector in NTB. Final testing using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method scored 4.85, indicating that the application was well-received by potential users and met their needs. These positive results highlight the important role of stakeholders, particularly from the hotel and travel agent industries, in the development process, where their involvement and feedback significantly contribute to shaping the application to meet user expectations and needs, demonstrating that active stakeholder participation is one of the keys to successful application development. © 2024 IEEE.
