The polyester fiber production process includes three sub-processes of polymerization, melt conveying and spinning. Aiming at the prediction of melt performance indicators in the process of melt conveying, this work introduces a hybrid integration model by integrating mechanism model and data-driven model. In the melt conveying process of fiber production, the data from the heat exchanger to the entire section of the spinneret were selected for comparative experiments. Comparing the hybrid integration model proposed in this paper with Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), Support Vector Regression (SVR) and mechanism model which is called the first principle model, both MSE and MAPE evaluation indexes can reflect the superiority of hybrid integration model in prediction accuracy. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper develops a distributed method for formation control of ground mobile robots via partial differential equations（PDEs）-based approach. The collective dynamics of a group of mobile robots is modeled by a reaction-advection-diffusion PDE. Based the model, we design a boundary control by using of the PDE backstepping method,which results in the leader-actuating formation control scheme with the leader robots locate on the boundary. In the control scheme, each follower robot only needs to obtain its own position and the relative position to its neighbors, which reduce the cost of the followers. We verify the effectiveness of the control scheme through the mobile robots experiment. In the experiment, we use Link Track UWB module to realize the positioning function adding the Kalman filter algorithm to improve the positioning accuracy and we use MPC to realize the movement control of the car’s forward speed, lateral speed and angle.

Recommendation systems are used in every aspect of people's lives in the context of today's Internet boom. However, most of the research on recommendation algorithms focus on improving the accuracy of algorithms, while the diversity and novelty of recommendation quality are more or less ignored. In addition, the accuracy and diversity of recommendation algorithms are usually contradictory. Therefore, the paper proposed a novel multi-objective framework to balance accuracy and diversity. Under the framework, similar products and diverse products are recommended by user clustering. Two objective functions are designed to represent the similarity and diversity of clustering. One objective function is to bring together users with similar preferences. Another objective function is to recommend diverse items to users. The novel multi-objective evolutionary algorithm can return a series of different trade-off solutions in one run. The proposed algorithm is applied on a real-world baseline dataset: MovieLens. Experimental results show that diversity and novelty are improved without sacrificing too much precision

Conventionally, for model predictive power control (MPPC) of voltage source inverter (VSI) in a grid-connected microgrid, active power reference is often associated with dc power source while reactive power reference is often given as a constant zero. There is rare literature completely investigating the changing rationale of dynamic change of power references when the dc power source is invariable. In this paper, an economic dispatch method optimizing power flows based on evolutionary algorithms is proposed to dynamically determine the power references. From the microgrid’s hierarchical view, the MPPC at the device level is combined with the economic dispatch at the system level, via determining the common power references. Then, the system-level optimized power flow with the minimized cost is directly sent to the device-level power converters, enhancing the two levels' connection. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed strategy have been demonstrated by simulation results.

To prepare a highly stable, flexible sensor for body motion and vital sign monitoring, a conductive warp-knitted fabric (CWKF) with a two-bar tricot structure was prepared by in situ polymerization, and then a waterborne polyurethane-coated conductive warp-knitted fabric (WPU/CWKF) was prepared using a simple dip-and-dry method. The structure and properties of both CWKF and WPU/CWKF were analyzed, their strain-resistance sensing properties were investigated, and their application in body motion monitoring was discussed. The results indicate that conductive treatment of in situ polymerization can create polyester warp-knitted fabric with good electrical conductivity, with a resistivity of approximately 5 Ω·cm, which is approximately 11 orders of magnitude lower than that of the polyester fabric. After coating with WPU, the resistivity of the WPU/CKWF increased to approximately 40 Ω·cm. The modulus and hardness of WPU/CKWF were improved when compared to CWKF. Both CKWF and WPU/CKWF showed good strain-resistance sensing performance, but CWKF was more sensitive than WPU/CKWF, whereas WPU/CKWF was more stable than CWKF. Both the CWKF and WPU/CKWF sensors could monitor body motion in real time. Similar to their base materials, the CWKF sensor demonstrated a higher sensitivity for human movement monitoring, whereas the WPU/CKWF sensor exhibited higher stability. © 2023, The Authors. Intrusion detection and security calculation in industrial cloud storage based on an improved dynamic immune algorithm

Cloud computing is a new storage and calculation mode, which has been widely used as a tool to store and analyze users’ data. With the development of industrial intelligence and big data, it is also prevalent in industrial field to accelerate production or to discover more knowledge to make better decisions. There are three main properties in cloud computing, namely dynamic and time-variation, large-scale, and change-of-ownership. Therefore, the data security problems are different and complicated than those in conventional networks. The existing methods, such as encrypted storage, security audit, and access control, cannot solve these security problems proactively and efficiently due to their own drawbacks. Commonly, self-samples always have similar features, while non-self-samples are abnormal in their own way. This paper mainly focuses on these two sources of data, one is intrusion detection of external non-self-samples and another is security calculation of self-samples. In this case, an improved dynamic immune algorithm (IDIA) is proposed, which is composed of an improved negative selection algorithm (iNSA) with the way of shift mutation and an improved dynamic clone selection algorithm (iDCS) with random grouping strategy. The former algorithm is used to generate detectors, and the latter is used to update them dynamically and adaptively. On this basis, an automated industrial production system is designed to guarantee the data security that not been accessed by external or other users. Datasets of KDD CUP99 and real industrial production data are collected to evaluate the performance of IDIA. The experiment results show the proposed algorithm can detect the intrusive data samples and identify autologous ones efficaciously. © 2018

In this paper, we propose a biologically inspired visual integrated model for image classification, called VMVI-CNN. Motivated in part by recent neuroscience progress in revealing integrated functions of human visual system, two bio-inspired visual mechanisms (the visual memory decay mechanism and the visual interaction mechanism) are proposed and built within the VMVI-CNN to (1) control the feature information passing through, and (2) increase the richness of feature information. The proposed method is tested on three benchmark datasets (MNIST, Cifar-10, and Mini-ImageNet) and a real-world industrial dataset. The results demonstrate that the new model can extract distinctive features and exhibit a better recognition performance than the current state-of-the-art approaches. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.

The polymerization process is the critical stage of polyester production, and the reaction mechanism of the polymerization process is complex and involves a large number of variables. The melt intrinsic viscosity is an essential indicator of the polymer, control and prediction of melt intrinsic viscosity is particularly crucial for the synthetic fibers industry. This paper introduces the Copula feature selection method, and nonlinear features of the polymerization process are selected to establish the least squares support vector machine (LSSVM) model for the viscosity prediction. Since the Just-in-time learning (JITL) can account for the dynamic behavior of the process, and the Copula function can determine the nonparametric measure of the dependence between variables, a Copula-based JITL is proposed for viscosity prediction of polyester fiber polymerization process. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by the actual industrial data.

In order to improve the robot's ability to perceive the environment in the navigation process, a hierarchical model based on place cells and grid cells was proposed by referring to the cell characteristics found in the biological brain related to spatial cognition. Firstly, the perception system of the environment is constructed by the discharging characteristics of grid cells. Inspired by the experimental findings of differences in the firing field sizes of place cells recorded at different positions along the dorsal to ventral axis of hippocampus, the training process is divided into different stages and virtual goal points are set up to construct a hierarchical model. Compared with the original SARSA algorithm, the model can effectively shorten training time and improve learning efficiency in the water maze experiments. © 2019 IEEE.
