The scarcity of fault samples presents a significant challenge for fault diagnosis in industrial processes. Conventional methods often fail to deliver satisfactory results when dealing with small sample sizes. In addressing the issue of small sample fault diagnosis in industrial processes, this paper utilizes the Variational Mode Reconstruction(VMR) algorithm to screen the best components decomposed by the Variational Mode Decomposition(VMD) through the envelope entropy then random weighting them and signal reconstruction to achieve data enhancement, to enrich the sample size and to prevent the model overfitting phenomenon due to the scarcity of samples. Meanwhile, this paper integrates Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-term Memory Neural Network (LSTM) to propose a network model of spatio-temporal feature fusion for feature extraction and classification. The experiments demonstrate that this model not only enhances data diversity but also ensures consistency before and after enhancement, effectively mitigating overfitting. Furthermore, it guarantees high recognition and generalization rates in fault diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

This study addresses the complexities of orchestrating multi-target transportation tasks within multi-agent systems, constrained by load capacity. The primary objective is to engineer an advanced path planning framework that assures collision avoidance and optimal load distribution. Diverging from conventional single-path strategies, this research incorporates load factors and requires continuous dynamic multi-target point and path planning to ensure agents can efficiently navigate through a series of predetermined key points. To address this complex requirement, a two-stage multi-agent task allocation and path planning method is proposed. First, an initial solution is obtained using a suboptimal algorithm, followed by optimization iterations using the large neighborhood search algorithm to improve task allocation. In the second stage, an accelerated algorithm based on priority search is used to plan optimal paths for each agent in a predetermined order. The proposed algorithm's effectiveness is comprehensively evaluated through a series of experimental evaluations and comparisons with the commercial solver Gurobi within a limited time. The results show that the proposed method achieves optimality in both running time and minimum path cost while ensuring the load balance of agents.

The safety protection of process control systems plays a crucial role in the overall safety of critical *** have increased the complexity of existing safety protection analysis. Traditional safety analysis methods fall short in accounting for cyberattack factors, making it challenging to conduct safety protection analysis under cyberattacks. To address this issue, this paper presents a new safety protection analysis method that considers multiple safety factors explicitly including cyberattacks using formal verification. The method consists of three main components: exhaustive system safety specifications,formal models, and system safety validation. The system safety specification component adds a cyberattack factor to system safety requirements based on the system theory process analysis(STPA) method. The formal model component considers the system's dynamic operation process, and safety protection behaviors under typical attack behaviors. The system safety validation component validates the effectiveness of system safety protection under cyberattacks by the UPPAAL tool, from the perspective of whether system safety constraints are triggered and whether the change curve of process variables is compliant. Finally, the effectiveness of the presented approach is carried out for a simplified fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) fractionating system.

To mitigate the detrimental effects of parameter perturbations and external load torque on the accuracy of speed and current tracking control in surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drive systems, while avoiding the complexities inherent in traditional speed-current series control architectures, this paper presents a single-loop deadbeat predictive control (SDPC) framework that incorporates online disturbance observation. The control input voltage vector is directly computed using an SDPC controller in conjunction with a set of discrete-time disturbance observers (DDOBs). This proposed methodology offers two notable advantages over existing research: (i) it substantially reduces the number of adjustable controller parameters, requiring only the tuning of the observer bandwidth and the speed scaling gain, which enhances its practicality for engineering applications;and (ii) the disturbance estimation and compensation mechanism utilizing DDOBs significantly improves the robustness of the SPMSM system. Furthermore, the SDPC framework ensures that the system maintains satisfactory transient and steady-state tracking performance in response to reference signals. Experimental comparisons validate both the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. © 2015 IEEE.

Simulators play a crucial role in autonomous driving, offering significant time, cost, and labor savings. Over the past few years, the number of simulators for autonomous driving has grown substantially. However, there is a growing concern about the validity of algorithms developed and evaluated in simulators, indicating a need for a thorough analysis of the development status of the simulators. To address existing gaps in research, this paper undertakes a comprehensive review of the history of simulators, proposes a utility-based taxonomy, and investigates the critical issues within open-source simulators. Analysis of the past thirty years' development trajectory reveals a trend characterized by an increase in open-source simulators and an expansion of their functionality scope. The categorization of simulators based on feature functionalities delineates five primary classes: traffic flow, sensory data, driving policy, vehicle dynamics, and comprehensive simulators. Furthermore, the paper identifies critical unresolved issues in open-source simulators, including concerns regarding the fidelity of sensory data, representation of traffic scenarios, and accuracy in vehicle dynamics simulation, all of which have the potential to undermine experimental confidence. Additionally, challenges in data format inconsistency, labor-intensive map construction processes, sluggish step updating, and insufficient support for Hardware-In-the-Loop testing are discussed as hindrances to experimental efficiency. In light of these findings, the survey furnishes task-oriented recommendations to aid in the selection of simulators, taking into account factors such as accessibility, maintenance status, and quality, while highlighting the inherent limitations of existing open-source simulators in validating algorithms and facilitating real-world experimentation. With the explosion of ChatGPT, the development of artificial intelligence technology ushered in another explosion. Similarly, with the rapid development of extended reality technology and Internet of Things technology, Metaverse will also usher in greater breakthroughs. However, in the development of the extended reality metaverse under edge computing, many security issues will arise. This paper focuses on data security, considering that data will be transmitted and processed between multiple devices and nodes instead of being concentrated in the cloud, which may bring To solve data security issues, relying on the integrated architecture of Metaverse educational applications based on edge computing (MEC), it provides an identity verification and access with higher security and scalability, better performance, and service requirements that meet the current environment control mechanism solutions, while analyzing other problems that will arise during the development of the extended reality metaverse. Aiming at the security problem on the edge side, a signature authentication scheme is designed based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) integrated blockchain encryption technology and the effectiveness of the method is proved. Genetic algorithm (GA) is an effective method for path planning problems. As a powerful variant of GA, island genetic algorithm (IGA) has considerable improvement in performance. In this paper, a new island model of GA is proposed to avoid the premature phenomenon and achieve better efficiency. First, a new method of creating subpopulations is presented based on K-means to expand the searching area for the optima. Meanwhile, recombining subpopulations is proposed as a new strategy to improve the diversity of populations and save computational time. Moreover, a method is designed based on Monte Carlo sampling to handle the uncertainty of maps. Comparative experiments are presented to verify the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Then, a proper number of samples is found by simulation to balance the accuracy and the time cost of Monte Carlo sampling. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem of quality assurance of intelligent logistics service in 5G+ edge computing environment, this paper proposes a mechanism based on federated cooperative cache, which aims to utilize the computing and storage resources of edge nodes to realize rapid processing and sharing of logistics data and improve the efficiency and reliability of logistics services. This paper first analyzes the characteristics and challenges of intelligent logistics services under 5G+ edge computing environment, and then introduces the concept and principle of federated cooperative cache, as well as its application scenarios and advantages in intelligent logistics services. Then, this paper designs an intelligent logistics service quality assurance mechanism based on federated cooperative cache, including five modules such as data partitioning, data transmission, data fusion, data access and data update, and gives the corresponding algorithms and processes. Finally, this paper verifies the effectiveness and performance of the proposed mechanism through simulation experiments. Compared with the traditional centralized cache and distributed cache, the proposed mechanism can reduce the data transmission delay, improve the data hit rate and data consistency, so as to ensure the quality of intelligent logistics services. In the future, the federated collaborative cache mechanism can be further optimized to consider the needs of multiple scenarios. Learning-based multi-view stereo (MVS) method heavily relies on feature matching, which requires distinctive and descriptive representations. An effective solution is to apply non-local feature aggregation, e.g., Transformer. Albeit useful, these techniques introduce heavy computation overheads for MVS. Each pixel densely attends to the whole image. In contrast, we propose to constrain nonlocal feature augmentation within a pair of lines: each point only attends the corresponding pair of epipolar lines. Our idea takes inspiration from the classic epipolar geometry, which shows that one point with different depth hypotheses will be projected to the epipolar line on the other view. This constraint reduces the 2D search space into the epipolar line in stereo matching. Similarly, this suggests that the matching of MVS is to distinguish a series of points lying on the same line. Inspired by this point-toline search, we devise a line-to-point non-local augmentation strategy. We first devise an optimized searching algorithm to split the 2D feature maps into epipolar line pairs. Then, an Epipolar Transformer (ET) performs non-local feature augmentation among epipolar line pairs. We incorporate the ET into a learning-based MVS baseline, named ET-MVSNet. ET-MVSNet achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction performance on both the DTU and Tanks-and-Temples benchmark with high efficiency. Code is available at https://***/TQTQliu/ET-MVSNet.

When encountering the distribution shift between the source(training) and target(test) domains, domain adaptation attempts to adjust the classifiers to be capable of dealing with different domains. Previous domain adaptation research has achieved a lot of success both in theory and practice under the assumption that all the examples in the source domain are welllabeled and of high quality. However, the methods consistently lose robustness in noisy settings where data from the source domain have corrupted labels or features which is common in reality. Therefore, robust domain adaptation has been introduced to deal with such problems. In this paper, we attempt to solve two interrelated problems with robust domain adaptation:distribution shift across domains and sample noises of the source domain. To disentangle these challenges, an optimal transport approach with low-rank constraints is applied to guide the domain adaptation model training process to avoid noisy information influence. For the domain shift problem, the optimal transport mechanism can learn the joint data representations between the source and target domains using a measurement of discrepancy and preserve the discriminative information. The rank constraint on the transport matrix can help recover the corrupted subspace structures and eliminate the noise to some extent when dealing with corrupted source data. The solution to this relaxed and regularized optimal transport framework is a convex optimization problem that can be solved using the Augmented Lagrange Multiplier method, whose convergence can be mathematically proved. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated through extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets.
