A control circuit for active metasurface based on varactor diode is designed in this paper. By varying the reverse bias voltage on the varactor diode, the designed circuit can regulate the additional phase of the active meta-atoms. The circuit adopts a form of one master and multiple slaves, which can simultaneously control the bias voltage of 960 meta-atoms. Each slave can control up to 64 channels. The control accuracy is 0.04V. The power consumption of a single slave is 160mW. Though experiment verification, the circuit has a good effect in controlling the beam deflection of the metasurface and generating OAM beams. © 2023 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

The currently constructed millimeter wave imaging system has the problems of long sampling time and more sampling points of antenna units, and the use of compressed perception algorithm can improve the imaging quality when the number of sampling points are much smaller than the Nyquist distance sampling. The traditional compressed perception algorithm can achieve better sparse recovery than the matched filter imaging algorithm, but there is a large dimension of the measurement matrix and high computational complexity. For the problems of difficult data processing and large dimensions of measurement matrix, a sparse imaging regularization model is constructed based on approximate observation, and an improved soft threshold iterative algorithm is used with adaptive step size, which improves the convergence performance, reduces the computational complexity of the sparse recovery dramatically and achieves a better quality of sparse imaging than the traditional compressed perception algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

The Affine-Projection Maximum Asymmetric Correntropy Criterion (APMACC) is constructed, drawing upon the fundamental principles of the maximum asymmetric correntropy criterion and an affine-projection scheme. The APMACC algorithm incorporates the asymmetric Gaussian model as a kernel function within the Affine-Projection (AP) algorithm framework, thereby endowing it with robustness against asymmetrically distributed noise. Furthermore, the bound for step-size is established in the literature. Simulation results demonstrate that the APMACC has fast convergence and low steady-state. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a RIS-assisted multiuser MIMO communication method based on deep reinforcement learning (RMMC-DRL) is proposed for multiuser scenarios. Our objective is to find the optimal transmit beamforming matrix of BS and optimal phase shift matrix of reflective intelligent surface (RIS) to maximize the sum rate of multiuser, this problem is reduced into a constrained optimization problem. It is a non-convex optimization problem, so we solve it through deep reinforcement learning (DRL) and then use the results for communication. In the DRL, a deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG) framework that can handle continuous states and actions is designed, reward is set as optimization goal, and the transmit beamforming matrix and the phase shift matrix of RIS are obtained through the interaction with environment. Unlike the alternating optimization (AO) method, which solve the transmit beamforming matrix and the RIS phase shift matrix alternatively, the RMMC-DRL can obtain both transmit beamforming matrix and RIS phase shift matrix simultaneously as the output of DRL. Simulation results show that RMMC-DRL can learn and improve its behavior by interacting with the environment. Compared with AO method, RMMC-DRL can obtain higher sum rate and lower computational complexity. © 2023 IEEE.

Deploying task caching at edge servers has become an effectiveway to handle compute-intensive and latency-sensitive tasks on the industrialinternet. However, how to select the task scheduling location to reduce taskdelay and cost while ensuring the data security and reliable communicationof edge computing remains a challenge. To solve this problem, this paperestablishes a task scheduling model with joint blockchain and task cachingin the industrial internet and designs a novel blockchain-assisted cachingmechanism to enhance system security. In this paper, the task schedulingproblem, which couples the task scheduling decision, task caching decision,and blockchain reward, is formulated as the minimum weighted cost problemunder delay constraints. This is a mixed integer nonlinear problem, which isproved to be nonconvex and NP-hard. To solve the optimal solution, thispaper proposes a task scheduling strategy algorithm based on an improvedgenetic algorithm (IGA-TSPA) by improving the genetic algorithm initializationand mutation operations to reduce the size of the initial solutionspace and enhance the optimal solution convergence speed. In addition,an Improved Least Frequently Used algorithm is proposed to improve thecontent hit rate. Simulation results show that IGA-TSPA has a faster optimalsolution-solving ability and shorter running time compared with the existingedge computing scheduling algorithms. The established task scheduling modelnot only saves 62.19% of system overhead consumption in comparison withlocal computing but also has great significance in protecting data security,reducing task processing delay, and reducing system cost.

Missed polyps are the major risk factor for colorectal cancer. To minimize misdiagnosis, many methods have been developed. However, they either rely on laborious instance-level annotations, require labeling of prompt points, or lack the ability to filter noise proposals and detect polyps integrally, resulting in severe challenges in this area. In this paper, we propose a novel Cooperation-Based network (CBNet), a two-stage polyp detection framework supervised by image labels that removes wrong proposals through classification in collaboration with segmentation and obtains a more accurate detector by aggregating adaptive multi-level regional features. Specifically, we conduct a Cooperation-Based Region Proposal Network (CBRPN) to reduce the negative impact of noises by deleting proposals without polyps, enabling our network to capture polyp features. Moreover, to enhance location integrity and classification precision of polyps, we aggregate multi-level region of interest (ROI) features under the guidance of the backbone classification layer, namely Adaptive ROI Fusion Module (ARFM). Extensive experiments on the public and private datasets show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance for weakly supervised methods and even outperforms full supervision in some terms. Multifunctional therapeutic peptides(MFTP)hold immense potential in diverse therapeutic contexts,yet their prediction and identification remain challenging due to the limitations of traditional methodologies,such as extensive training durations,limited sample sizes,and inadequate generalization *** address these issues,we present AMHF-TP,an advanced method for MFTP recognition that utilizes attention mechanisms and multi-granularity hierarchical features to enhance *** AMHF-TP is composed of four key components:a migration learning module that leverages pretrained models to extract atomic compositional features of MFTP sequences;a convolutional neural network and selfattention module that refine feature extraction from amino acid sequences and their secondary structures;a hypergraph module that constructs a hypergraph for complex similarity representation between MFTP sequences;and a hierarchical feature extraction module that integrates multimodal peptide sequence *** with leading methods,the proposed AMHF-TP demonstrates superior precision,accuracy,and coverage,underscoring its effectiveness and robustness in MFTP *** comparative analysis of separate hierarchical models and the combined model,as well as with five contemporary models,reveals AMHFTP’s exceptional performance and stability in recognition tasks.

We propose a robust pipeline detection algorithm for obscuration environments, which includes two improvements: a pre-processing method called the Regional Adaptive Thresh-olding Algorithm (RATA) and a novel clustering method based on trend analysis and symmetric matching called as Symmetry Matching Clustering Algorithm (SMCA). This approach is highly effective in extracting targets from low-intensity regions and has been validated through simulation experiments. The gotten results demonstrate significant enhancements in the accuracy and reliability of underground pipeline detection in obscuration environments. Comparative analysis shows that, in some aspects, the proposed method outperforms existing algorithms.

The paper introduces a Kernel Weibull M-transform Least-Mean Square (LMS) (KWMLMS) algorithm aimed to enhance filtering performance for a nonlinear system. By incorporating the Weibull M-transformation into the cost function of the Kernel LMS (KLMS) algorithm, a weighting updated rule is gotten. Simulation experiments conducted for nonlinear-system identification under impulse noise conditions demonstrate that the created KWMLMS algorithm achieves significantly faster convergence compared to existing methods, indicating its superiority in dealing with impulsive-noises.

With the rapid development of multimedia technology, audio-visual learning has emerged as a promising research topic within the field of multimodal analysis. In this paper, we explore parameter-efficient transfer learning for audio-visual learning and propose the Audio-Visual Mixture of Experts (AVMoE) to inject adapters into pre-trained models flexibly. Specifically, we introduce unimodal and cross-modal adapters as multiple experts to specialize in intra-modal and inter-modal information, respectively, and employ a lightweight router to dynamically allocate the weights of each expert according to the specific demands of each task. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed approach AVMoE achieves superior performance across multiple audio-visual tasks, including AVE, AVVP, AVS, and AVQA. Furthermore, visual-only experimental results also indicate that our approach can tackle challenging scenes where modality information is missing.
