Text Categorization plays an important role in the fields of information retrieval, machine learning, natural language processing, data mining and others. With the development of computer and information technology, there have been many classification algorithms. Each text classification algorithms will get result at differing speeds and efficiency due to the various feature of test text. It has been found that Naive Bayes classifier has a higher accuracy and rate by classifying Movie Reviews in NLTK using Decision Tree classifier, Naive Bayes classifier, Maximum Entropy classifier and K-nearest neighbor classifier.

We consider a model of competition on complex networks in which two competitors have fixed and opposite states, and other agents, called normal agents, adjust their states according to a distributed consensus protocol. Suppose that one of the competitors could add a given number of new links to enhance his influence which can be defined as the total supporting degree of the normal agents or the number of supporters. We investigate the problem of how to add these links so as to maximize the influence of the competitor over the other one (called relative influence). Under different definitions of influence, two relative influence maximization problems, named Problem 1 and Problem 2, are proposed. We show that the objective function of Problem 1 is monotonous and sub-modular. Hence, there exists a polynomial-time greedy algorithm approximately solving Problem 1. For Problem 2, we prove that it is NP-hard. The Alternative Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM for short) algorithm and several heuristic algorithms are introduced to provide approximate solutions for these two problems.

Block-wise compressed image often suffers from the blocking artifacts. In this paper, we propose a novel deblocking scheme for compressed image, by combining image's sparse property and its self-similarity together, called group sparsity optimization. Instead of processing each image patch individually, in the proposed scheme, similar patches in one group are required to be well-represented on learned dictionary collaboratively, using group sparsity regularization. The group sparsity not only imposes every patch's representation to be sparse, bus also requires patches' coefficients in the group share the similar pattern. The experiment results on standard test images demonstrate that our scheme can improve the PSNR of the compressed images by an average of 1.25 dB, and outperform state of the art deblocking approaches.

In this paper, an improved LQG benchmark for the economic performance assessment of model predictive controlsystem is presented. The LQG benchmark is obtained by a regression of a series of discrete points calculated through solving LQG problem. The discrete points obtained by traditional method present an unbalanced distribution, thus leading to an unsatisfied regression curve especially at the lower part where the distribution is sparse. However, the lower part of the LQG trade-off curve is more significant for the economic performance assessment as they are closer to the minimum variance. To avoid this distribution phenomenon and get a better regression performance curve, we change the form of the LQG benchmark and propose a mathematic method which uses an exponential increasing weighting factor to build the discrete points. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is illustrated by a simulation example to economic performance assessment of a model predictive controlsystem.

This paper studied the MEWMA controllers used to control the drifted MIMO non-squared process in semiconductor manufacturing industry. We compared the performance of the existing controllers. In order to overcome the case that existing singular matrix in the controllers, we proposed to use the Moore-Penrose inverse when matrix is not invertible. Heterogeneous networks(HetNets) are expected to be an integral component of expansion of 3G and emerging 4G network deployments. However, in order to achieve the quality-of-service(QoS) requirements of all the users, interference mitigation techniques need to be developed to manage the radio resources of macrocells and small cells. In this paper, we focus on the optimal power allocation for downlink HetNets. Specifically, we take into account the different deployment targets and service requirements of macrocell base stations(BSs) and small cells(corresponding to picocells and femtocells), and classify them into two categories according to their deployers, namely, operator deployed BSs(OBSs) and customer deployed BSs(CBSs). Then, the framework of Stackelberg game with multiple leaders and multiple followers is adopted to investigate the downlink power allocation problem. To obtain the Stackelberg equilibrium(SE) distributively, we develop the power updating rules for both OBSs and CBSs. Moreover, the implementations of the proposed game are discussed. At last, numerical results show the convergence of the proposed game and the uniqueness of the SE.
