This system present a feasibility of computer-aided diagnosis, planning and simulation for orthodontic treatment. In the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) integrated environment, a flexible, friendly and functional interface for orthodontic treatment was designed. The methods of how to integrate VTK and MFC in different system are described, and the three-dimensional model of the dentition is reconstructed by using marching-cubes (MC) algorithms. Finally, the three-dimensional model for rendering and interaction is also introduced.

In this paper, aiming at the indoor scene under monitoring by visual sensor network (VSN), an object recognition approach based on structural feature is presented. Firstly, we regard the output of existing line segment detector LSD with proper parameters as the preliminary extraction result and it still will be further restored and split. Then, we give an inference model based on structural features of object including line segment ontology characteristics and relative relationship between the line segments. Finally, the objects are recognized with position information through inference. The effectiveness of the approach is verified, and the results show that our approach does not rely on segmentation and has robustness on partial defect and structural deformation to some extent.

This paper investigates the problem of joint design of a receding horizon control and the medium access scheduling for quantized controlsystems over limited bandwidth networks, in which only a limited number of actuators are allowed to communicate with the controller at each time instant. By introducing a communication scheduling matrix to describe the medium access status and considering the influence of quantizers, we can model the control system as a switched model with structured norm-bounded uncertainties. The stabilizing channels with guaranteed stability are chosen first. Based on the stabilizing channels, a receding horizon control strategy with optimal dynamic resource allocation is proposed by minimizing the upper bound on a finite-horizon quadratic performance index. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the developed method finally.

The strategy profile dynamics of (networked) evolutionary games ((N)EGs) are investigated. The algebraic state space expression of strategy profile dynamics using semi-tensor product is presented. Based on this framework, the Lyapunov function for (N)EGs is proposed and is used to investigate the convergence of the strategy profile dynamics. The relationship between Lyapunov function and the potential function of (N)EGs is also explored. Some examples are presented to illustrate the obtained theoretical results.

E-healthcare systems of Wireless Body Area Network(WBAN) promise enormous change in future healthcare industry. The system generally consists of multiple sensor nodes that monitor various medical signals and deliver data to a network coordinator for further processing. One of the major issues of such systems is energy efficiency, owing to the limited power supply and difficult replacement of batteries in some implanted sensors. Hence, developing an energy-efficient scheduling policy to prolong sensors' lifetime brings great significance to a WBAN. In this paper, we investigate the problem with Lyapunov optimization technique and propose a dynamic scheduling policy including sleep scheduling and opportunistic transmission, which takes into account time-varying channel condition. We demonstrate that our policy can push the energy consumption arbitrarily close to the global minimum solution while sustaining the network stability.
