Accurate forecasting for photovoltaic power generation is one of the key enablers for the integration of solar photovoltaic systems into power *** deep-learning-based methods can perform well if there are sufficient training data and enough computational ***,there are challenges in building models through centralized shared data due to data privacy concerns and industry *** learning is a new distributed machine learning approach which enables training models across edge devices while data reside *** this paper,we propose an efficient semi-asynchronous federated learning framework for short-term solar power forecasting and evaluate the framework performance using a CNN-LSTM *** design a personalization technique and a semi-asynchronous aggregation strategy to improve the efficiency of the proposed federated forecasting *** evaluations using a real-world dataset demonstrate that the federated models can achieve significantly higher forecasting performance than fully local models while protecting data privacy,and the proposed semi-asynchronous aggregation and the personalization technique can make the forecasting framework more robust in real-world scenarios.

With the collaboration of several intelligent services, a crowd intelligence service network has been formed, and a service ecosystem has gradually emerged. As a novel service organization model, the Service Ecosystem (SE) can provide more sophisticated, precise, and thorough services and has attracted widespread attention. However, it also brings negative effects such as involution, and information cocoon room. Thus, how to analyze the collaborative decision-making mechanism between the SE regulation algorithm and the crowd intelligence group, exploring the reasons behind the negative effects, and finding effective intervention strategies have become problems in this field. To solve the challenges, we propose a Computational Experiments-based method Decision-making processes Analysis model in SE, namely CEDA. The proposed CEDA model consists of three modules: the autonomous evolution mechanism module, the learning evolution mechanism module, and the collaborative decision-making analysis module. Among them, the computational experiments can provide a customized test environment for the analysis of collaborative decision-making processes and find out the appropriate intervention strategy. Finally, the validity of the CEDA model is verified through the case of academic ecosystem involution. The results show that computational experiments can provide new ideas and paths for collaborative decision-making processes analysis. © ICST institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

In recent years, numerous technological advancements in Artificial Generative Intelligences (AGIs) have demonstrated significant potential to transform the intelligence acquisition mechanisms in connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs). Integrating technologies like ChatGPT into CAVs can enhance human-machine interactions. However, the emergence of such new traffic entities may introduce unforeseen hallucinations and complex risks that surpass our current understanding. To address these challenges, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering technologies are being explored to enhance the reliability and safety of autonomous driving systems. RAG retrieves relevant contextual information, such as driving experiences and real-time road network status, from external databases to ensure that foundation models have access to accurate and timely data for informed decision-making. Prompt engineering optimizes the performance of large language models in autonomous driving systems by designing and refining prompts that guide the models' responses, thereby improving their relevance and accuracy in various driving scenarios. Together, these technologies enhance the robustness and trustworthiness of autonomous driving systems. This paper proposes DriveRP, a framework that integrates RAG and prompt engineering within the Descriptive-Predictive-Prescriptive Intelligence framework of Parallel Driving theory. DriveRP aims to enhance the safety and interpretability of autonomous vehicle trajectory planning, decision-making, and motion control, ultimately achieving the "6S"goals. Grounded in Digital Twins and Metaverse-embodied parallel driving theory, DriveRP provides the infrastructure and foundational intelligence for parallel driving with Multi-modal Large Lange Models(MLLMs). Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) have been gaining popularity in recent years due to their promise of realizing the decentralized Web 3.0. However, most DAOs rely heavily on token-centric value systems as well as allocate decision-making authority and yield-sharing rights according to the held tokens, which often lead to monopolization of power and rights. To address this issue, this paper contributes to propose a truly democratic organization model, named True Autonomous Organizations and Operations (TAOs), that does not count upon tokens and is guided by principles of contribution-based and on-demand allocation. We first discuss the design of TAOs, including their infrastructures, power structures, and value systems, and then provide a technical roadmap for implementing TAOs in the DeSci context. This research can provide a valuable guidance for the construction and application of TAOs. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents management-Oriented Operating systems (M2OS) that leverages the power of parallel intelligence theory, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) and foundation models to revolutionize the manner of management in Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS). The parallel architecture on M2OS is proposed, including the parallel interactive actual M2OS and artificial M2OS. Among them, the artificial M2OSs provide digital infrastructures for organizations to operate, collaborate, and make decisions in the virtual space, and conduct computational experiments to evaluate management decisions and predict future states of the actual M2OS. Through parallel execution and closed-loop feedback between the artificial and actual M2OSs, the management and control, experimentation and evaluation, as well as learning and training of the actual M2OS can be realized. Moreover, the functional layers of M2OS, including the infrastructure layer, data layer, scenario layer, modeling layer, decision layer, and application layer, are discussed. These layers work together to support the intelligent, autonomous, collaborative, and adaptive nature of the M2OS, and facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimize business operations, and empower managers with real-time actionable insights. The proposed M2OS paradigm has great potential to transform the management paradigm and opens up new possibilities for intelligent and collaborative decision-making. © 2023 IEEE.

In urban environments, complex transportation demands, including land, air, and maritime transport, are increasingly growing. While significant advancements have been made in land transportation and autonomous driving, research on urban air mobility (UAM) systems is still in its early stages. This paper presents an innovative urban air unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) framework: AirVista, which is designed and built based on the Artificial systems, Computational experiments, and Parallel execution (ACP) approach, integrated with a multimodal large language model (MLLM) agent. Considering that UAM tasks often require UAVs to possess fine-grained spatial perception and reasoning capabilities, and given that existing MLLMs are somewhat lacking in exploring 3D spaces, this paper further proposes an instruction fine-tuning strategy integrated with 3D spatial knowledge, which has been validated experimentally for its effectiveness. Additionally, to enhance the understanding of the efficiency of MLLM for UAV tasks, this paper delves into prompt fine-tuning templates tailored for UAV task decomposition. Through experimental demonstrations, we showcase that the prompt-tuned MLLM exhibits efficient task decomposition and execution capabilities in handling complex UAV tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, crowdsourcing systems that tackle complex tasks through the collective efforts of many individuals have garnered substantial attention. However, the existing crowd-sourcing systems face some challenges such as overreliance on human experience and effort, information overload, and risks of privacy breaches. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes an intelligent and trustworthy crowdsourcing frame-work based on blockchain and retrieval-augmented generation. The framework centers around foundational models to integrate the three distinct and sequentially interdependent phases: task decomposition, task allocation or recommendation, and task execution, enabling the automatic provision of a personalized, comfortable, and efficient user experience. Blockchain and smart contracts are utilized to protect user privacy and interests without leaning on any third trusted authority. Additionally, the operational process of the framework is explained and validated by taking printed circuit board design and manufacturing as a case study and ChatGPT as its generator. © 2024 IEEE.

Road boundary detection is essential for autonomous vehicle localization and decision-making,especially under GPS signal loss and lane *** road boundary detection in structural environments,obstacle occlusions and large road curvature are two significant ***,an effective and fast solution for these problems has remained *** solve these problems,a speed and accuracy tradeoff method for LiDAR-based road boundary detection in structured environments is *** proposed method consists of three main stages:1)a multi-feature based method is applied to extract feature points;2)a road-segmentation-line-based method is proposed for classifying left and right feature points;3)an iterative Gaussian Process Regression(GPR)is employed for filtering out false points and extracting boundary *** demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method,KITTI datasets is used for comprehensive experiments,and the performance of our approach is tested under different road *** experiments show the roadsegmentation-line-based method can classify left,and right feature points on structured curved roads,and the proposed iterative Gaussian Process Regression can extract road boundary points on varied road shapes and traffic ***,the proposed road boundary detection method can achieve real-time performance with an average of 70.5 ms per frame.
