An adaptive decentralized asymptotic tracking control scheme is developed in this paper for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems with unknown strong interconnections,unknown time-varying parameters,and ***,by employing the intrinsic properties of Gaussian functions for the interconnection terms for the first time,all extra signals in the framework of decentralized control are filtered out,thereby removing all additional assumptions imposed on the interconnec-tions,such as upper bounding functions and matching ***,by introducing two integral bounded functions,asymptotic tracking control is ***,the nonlinear filters with the compensation terms are introduced to circumvent the issue of“explosion of complexity”.It is shown that all the closed-loop signals are bounded and the tracking errors converge to zero *** the end,a simulation example is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

A Vehicle-to-Vehicle Cooperative control Method for Intersections with Cav- Dedicated Lane

With the development of intelligent connected technology and autonomous driving technology, connected autonomous vehicles (CAV) and connected human-driven vehicles (CHV) will coexist for a long time in the future. The popularization of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication enables the improvement of CAV platooning efficiency and the joint control of CAV trajectory and signal timing. Therefore, this paper proposes a CAV-dedicated lane-based vehicle-to-vehicle interactive intersection control method, which is suitable for managing mixed traffic flow of CHV and CAV at a single intersection. In the proposed method, the road capacity is enhanced by separating the mixed traffic flow with a CAV-dedicated lane. Through vehicle-to-vehicle interaction and CHV induction, the traffic flow spatiotemporal distribution is regulated by a limited number of controlled vehicles. Furthermore, by jointly controlling CAV trajectory and signal timing, vehicles can efficiently pass through the intersection in the CHV phase without the dedicated CAV phase. The optimization of signal timing and vehicle trajectory at the intersection aims to improve intersection capacity and smooth vehicle trajectories. In addition, the car-following and lane-changing models of CHV are revised based on the prospect theory to validate the performance of platooning strategies under cooperative induction information in practical traffic operations. Simulation results demonstrate that compared to control methods without considering vehicle-to-vehicle interaction, the proposed method in this paper has significant advantages in reducing average vehicle delay and improving intersection efficiency. © 2024, The Authors. EK-Net++: Real-time scene text detection with expand kernel distance and Epoch Adaptive Weight

Recently, scene text detection has received significant attention due to its wide applications. Accurate detection in complex scenes of multiple scales, orientations, and curvature remains a challenge. Component-based methods have emerged as the dominant approach for offering a more flexible way to achieve superior performance. However, Component-based methods employ the Vatti clipping algorithm for multi-instance training to handle the difficulty of arbitrary-shaped text. Yet we identify several bias results from these approaches called the "shrinked kernel" leading to decreased accuracy. Additionally, almost all text detection methods fail to consider the characteristics of different datasets and directly assign fixed loss weights to multi-instances. To address these limitations, we propose a new approach named Expand Kernel Network (EK-Net++), which presents the expand kernel distance map to compensate for the previous deficiency and incorporates three-stage regression to complete integral instance detection. Furthermore, we design the Epoch Adaptive Weight algorithm which dynamically distinguishes the characteristics of different datasets. EK-Net++ not only achieves precise positioning of arbitrary-shaped text but also strikes a balance between performance and speed. Evaluation results show that EK-Net++ attains state-of-the-art or competitive performance compared to other advanced methods, e.g., F-measure of 86.72% at 35.42 FPS on ICDAR 2015, F-measure of 85.83% at 40.13 FPS on CTW1500. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

With the remarkable development of the power grid, traditional manual maintenance modes cannot meet the requirement of efficiency and reliability. Robotic technology is applied for power line maintenance to bring down risks and ensure inspectors' safety. Based on the power transmission line maintenance platform, a 5-DOF manipulator is designed to perform the maintenance tasks for the quad bundle conductors. Then the kinematics analysis of the manipulator is analyzed. The manipulator doesn't meet the Pieper criterion. So an improved adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) is proposed for figuring out the inverse kinematics. The weights of the pose and the constraint of the prismatic joint are introduced to the algorithm. What's more, half of the particles are initialized around the incipient value of joints and half of the particles are randomly initialized with the constraint of joints in this algorithm. Results show that the manipulator is able to work in the environment of quad bundle conductors and the proposed algorithm can improve the precision of inverse kinematics and prevent the leap of joints. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The application of trauma and hemorrhage medical treatment training has generated higher and higher requirements for the authenticity of the medical model. With the increasing integration of mixed reality technology and the medical field, multi-view-based 3D reconstruction technology can generate trauma medical object models not limited to specific targets, with low cost and high precision. However, the current reconstruction methods have weak points such as the inability to build the object surface beyond the direct view of humans, the uneven distribution of reconstructed point clouds, many holes, and reconstructed triangles. And it is time-consuming and laborious to fill and modify manually and requires highly skilled modeling expertise. Therefore, the models generated by traditional 3D reconstruction methods cannot meet the needs of interaction and touch in mixed reality applications. In order to solve these problems, we propose a new model generation method based on multi-view and point cloud processing, which enables the model to reduce the computational cost under the premise of meeting the need for direct interaction and touch in mixed reality applications. Finally, based on the reconstruction method proposed in this paper, a new medical trauma hemorrhage control and rescue training system is designed and implemented, which proves the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper. © 2023 Owner/Author.

With the improvement of communication technology and the management of demand-side, more and more researches focus on the aggregation technology of flexible resources on the demand side. This paper proposes to build a self-organizing response framework in the scenario of massive resources, and resources can independently choose to join or exit the aggregates to participate in the regulation of grid active power balance. However, self-organizing aggregates cannot generate aggregation scenarios that accurately match the dynamic needs of the power grid during autonomous operation, so the grid needs to further guide the evolution of the aggregates. Firstly, the process and principle of realizing self-organization and evolution of resources in cyberspace are outlined. Then, the evolutionary driving sources of the self-organizing aggregates are analyzed to construct the evolutionary dynamics model framework from both the steady and the dynamic dimensions, and the data-driven modeling is carried out through the back propagation neural network to obtain the evolution law of resource self-organization. Finally, an iterative evolutionary guiding strategy based on price feedback is designed. The optimal guiding value of the market price cap is obtained through iteration under the expected aggregation scale target of the power grid, and also the dynamic evolution time of the aggregates is predicted to determine the timing of the release of the guiding strategy. The proposed strategy is constructed and tested on the NETLOGO resource self-organization simulation platform. The results show that the self-organizing aggregates can evolve to the expected state of power grid demand with high accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

Formal safety guarantees on the synthesis of controllers for stochastic systems can be obtained using correct-by-design approaches. These approaches often use abstractions as finite-state Markov Decision Processes (MDPs). As the state space of these MDPs grows, the curse of dimensionality makes the computational and memory cost of the probabilistic guarantees, quantified with dynamic programming, scale exponentially. In this work, we leverage decoupled dynamics and unravel, via dynamic programming operations, a tree structure in the Canonical Polyadic Decomposition (CPD) of the value functions. For discrete-time stochastic systems with syntactically co-safe linear temporal logic (scLTL) specifications, we provide provable probabilistic safety guarantees and significantly alleviate the computational burden. We provide numerical studies and validations of the theoretical results on several typical case studies and showcase that the uncovered tree structure enables efficient reductions in the computational burden. A distributed fault-tolerant formation control law is designed in this paper for multi-agent systems under external disturbances and actuator faults including time-varying loss of effectiveness faults. The initial position of each agent is already on a circle and the control purpose is to form a desired formation on this circle. Based on this local information, a distributed adaptive formation control law is designed by employing the congelation of variables method to deal with time-varying actuator faults. In this paper, a data-driven optimal control method is provided for the half-vehicle suspension system via adaptive dynamic programming. The main contribution of this paper is that the data-driven adaptive dynamic programming method is applied to the optimal control problem of half-vehicle suspension system, which only requires the input-state data of the system. First, the structure of the half-vehicle suspension system is analyzed, and the optimal control problem is introduced. Next, the model-based adaptive dynamic programming method is provided. Based on the model-based method, a data-driven adaptive dynamic programming method is given. The properties of the provided methods are analyzed. Finally, simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the data-driven adaptive dynamic programming method. © 2022 IEEE.
