Constructing heterojunctions and hollow multi-shelled structures can render materials with fascinating physicochemical properties,and have been regarded as two promising strategies to overcome the severe shuttling and sluggish kinetics of polysulfide in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)***,a single strategy can only take limited *** catalytic hosts with synergistic effects are urgently ***,Mn_(3)O_(4)-MnS heterogeneous multi-shelled hollow spheres are meticulously designed by controlled sulfuration of Mn2O3 hollow spheres,and then applied as advanced encapsulation hosts for Li-S *** from the separated spatial confinement by hollow multi-shelled structure,ample exposed active sites and built-in electric field by heterogeneous interface,and synergistic effects between Mn_(3)O_(4)(strong adsorption)and MnS(fast conversion)components,the assembled battery achieves prominent rate capability and decent cyclability(0.016%decay per cycle at 2 C,1000 cycles).More crucially,satisfactory areal capacity reaches up to 7.1 mAh cm^(-2)even with high sulfur loading(8.0 mg cm^(-2))and lean electrolyte(E/S=4.0 pL mg^(-1))*** work will provide inspiration for the rational design of hollow multi-shelled heterostructure for various electrocatalysis applications.

Code clones are code fragments that are similar in composition or semantics of code statements, which can significantly improve software development efficiency and reduce costs by improving the quality of reusable code. However, existing code clone detection methods ignore the source code structure information and sequence information seriously. In this paper, we launched our research on the harder-to-break Type IV code clone detection, and propose a new method, namely Aug_Clone, to complete code clone detection task. Firstly, we utilize our published code semantic enhancement model to obtain the code semantic vector. Secondly, we perform code clone detection by calculating the similarity between these semantic vectors. At last, we evaluate our method on a large public data set, and experimental results show improvement over the state-of-the-art benchmarks, which demonstrates the effectiveness and efficiency of our method. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi Variant eXecution (MVX) is a security defense technique that uses software diversity to protect system from attacks. MVX improves security capability by enhancing system endogenous security compared to traditional passive defense techniques. However, the current MVX technique lacks formal theoretical analysis and cannot effectively assess the overall security of the system. To address the constraint relationship between complex attack means and dynamic defense environment, we construct a novel atomic combination attack chain model, which decomposes macro attack means into single atomic attack behaviors and provides theoretical support for analyzing the security capability of dynamic systems. Then, the defense model of the MVX system is established, and the defense model's security capability is analyzed using the attack model. Finally, the advantages and shortcomings of the security defense capability of the MVX system are evaluated based on a typical kernel attack example, and system optimization improvement measures are proposed. © 2022 SPIE.

Network data security is very important for each user and service provider, and every process of network data transmission is at risk of being tampered with. In this paper, we proposed a bidirectional tampering method of network data for Linux system. In this method we uses the combination of Netfilter and iptables, and uses the NetfilterQueue module in Python to tamper with the packets entering and leaving a Linux host. This tampering operation is transparent to upper users and may cause domain name redirection or many other serious consequences which threaten the security of hosts. Finally, the feasibility of this tampering method is verified by experiments. © 2022 SPIE.

Desingularization of bounded-rank tensor sets

Low-rank tensors appear to be prosperous in many applications. However, the sets of bounded-rank tensors are non-smooth and non-convex algebraic varieties, rendering the low-rank optimization problems to be challenging. To this end, we delve into the geometry of bounded-rank tensor sets, including Tucker and tensor train formats. We propose a desingularization approach for bounded-rank tensor sets by introducing slack variables, resulting in a low-dimensional smooth manifold embedded in a higher-dimensional space while preserving the structure of low-rank tensor formats. Subsequently, optimization on tensor varieties can be reformulated to optimization on smooth manifolds, where the methods and convergence are well explored. We reveal the relationship between the landscape of optimization on varieties and that of optimization on manifolds. Bank and point bar morphodynamics in the Lower Jingjiang Reach of the Yangtze River in response to the Three Gorges Project

Geomorphic dynamics of alluvial rivers in response to upstream damming have substantial impacts on navigation, habitat protection, and channel stability. The purpose of this study was to determine how flow and sediment regimes, and meander characteristics affect the morphological adjustment of bends in the Lower Jingjiang Reach(LJR) before and after the Three Gorges Project(TGP). Based on detailed field measurements and hydrological and topographic datasets from 1991 to 2016, banks and point bars morphodynamics of 12continuous bends in the LJR were comprehensively analyzed. Point bars in the LJR mainly experienced a net deposition before the TGP operation, but substantially deteriorated with a net erosion rate of 4.6 million m^(3) yr^(-1) in the post-TGP periods(2003–2016), and erosion on heads and upstream margins of point bars was a general adjustment pattern in the 12 *** most significant morphological changes of point bars and banks occurred in 2006–2011,indicating a delayed response of the channel evolution of the LJR to damming. Detailed observations suggested that the medium discharges(16,000–18,000 m^(3) s^(-1)) were the most contributive discharges in shaping the morphology of point bars and banks in the LJR after damming. In addition, we revealed the importance of sediment supply on meander deformation of the LJR, driven by sediment exchange over point bars, and more upstream planform deformation tended to occur in bends with high sinuosity(>2.0) in the LJR after *** relationship between meander deformation and sinuosity was manifested through the geometric adjustment range of point bars. The morphological adjustments of point bars in the highly curved or compound bends of the LJR were more conducive to cause flow deflections,leading to form concave-bank bars after the TGP operation.

Software testing is an effective means of ensuring software quality. The cost of software testing is the main component of the total cost of software development. The generation of test data is very important in testing, because the efficiency of testing depends on the test data used. A significant part of software testing automation is the test data generation. How to automatically generate test datasets is still an open problem. Search-based software testing (SBST) is a process of generating test data that employs meta-heuristic methods to resolve tough NP-hard problems. The test data generation problem belongs to NP-hard problems. This paper focuses on the automatic generation of test data for path coverage based on control flow criteria in structural testing. Some meta-heuristic algorithms have been used to search for software test data. To advance the efficiency and effectiveness of path test data generation, an adaptive simulated annealing particle swarm optimization (ASAPSO) algorithm is proposed. The probabilistic jumping property of simulated annealing (SA) algorithm is introduced into the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to make the particle accept bad solution at a certain probability during the searching process, and therefore boost the capacity of the proposed algorithm to bounce from the local optimum. The fitness function is constructed by the branch function superposition to properly guide the search process. In addition, to improve the convergence speed of the algorithm, an adaptive adjustment scheme based on inertial weight and an adjustment scheme based on learning factor are proposed as well. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectually avoid premature convergence and effectively upgrades the efficiency of generating test data automatically. Tunable bandgaps make halide perovskites promising candidates for developing tandem solar cells(TSCs),a strategy to break the radiative limit of 33.7%for single-junction solar *** perovskites with market-dominant crystalline silicon(c-Si)is particularly attractive;simple estimates based on the bandgap matching indicate that the efficiency limit in such tandem device is as high as 46%.However,state-of-the-art perovskite/c-Si TSCs only achieve an efficiency of~32.5%,implying significant challenges and also rich *** this review,we start with the operating mechanism and efficiency limit of TSCs,followed by systematical discussions on wide-bandgap perovskite front cells,interface selective contacts,and electrical interconnection layer,as well as photon management for highly efficient perovskite/c-Si *** highlight the challenges in this field and provide our understanding of future research directions toward highly efficient and stable large-scale wide-bandgap perovskite front cells for the commercialization of perovskite/c-Si TSCs.

Experimental and numerical investigation of the impacts of rotor tip-rake on excitation forces of pump-jet propulsors

The tip-clearance flow in a pump-jet propulsor exerts great impacts on the fluctuating pressures and resultant unsteady forces,which are important sources of structural vibrations and radiated noise *** blade geometry close to the tip is an important factor determining the vortex strength in the tip-clearance *** the open-water condition,the effects of raking the rotor tips on the duct-surface fluctuating pressures and the resultant unsteady forces acting on different components of the propulsor are investigated via physical model experiments and the numerical solution of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)equations coupled with the SST k-ωturbulence *** measured and simulated results of hydrodynamic pressures are consistent to each other,and the simulated flows help better understand why the fluctuating pressures change with the tip *** strong fluctuations of duct-surface pressures are caused by intensive tip separation *** duct-surface pressure fluctuations are effectively reduced by using the rake distribution near the tip towards blade back side and,for the combination of the five-bladed rotor and the seven-bladed stator,the resultant unsteady horizontal(and vertical)forces acting on the duct and stator are also reduced;while increasing rake leads to negative effect on pressure fluctuations and unsteady horizontal(and vertical)forces acting on all the components of the propulsor.
