The Self-Propping Phase-transition Fracturing Technology(SPFT)represents a novel and environmentally friendly approach for a cost-effective and efficient development of the world’s abundant unconventional resources,especially in the context of a carbon-constrained sustainable *** involves the coupling of Thermal,Hydraulic,Mechanical,and Chemical(THMC)fields,which makes it challenging to understand the mechanism and path of hydraulic fracture *** study addresses these challenges by developing a set of THMC multifield coupling models based on SPFT parameters and the physical/chemical characteristics of the Phase-transition Fracturing Fluid System(PFFS).An algorithm,integrating the Finite Element Method,Discretized Virtual Internal Bonds,and Element Partition Method(FEM-DVIB-EPM),is proposed and validated through a case *** results demonstrate that the FEM-DVIB-EPM coupling algorithm reduces complexity and enhances solving *** length of the hydraulic fracture increases with the quantity and displacement of PFFS,and excessive displacement may result in uncontrolled fracture *** the parameters considered,a minimal difference in fracture length is observed when the PFFS amount exceeds 130 m^(3),that means the fracture length tends to *** study contributes to understanding the hydraulic fracture propagation mechanism induced by SPFT,offering insights for optimizing hydraulic fracturing technology and treatment parameters.

Generative Artificial Intelligence(GAI)is attracting the increasing attention of materials community for its excellent capability of generating required *** the introduction of Prompt paradigm and reinforcement learning from human feedback(RLHF),GAI shifts from the task-specific to general pattern gradually,enabling to tackle multiple complicated tasks involved in resolving the structure-activity ***,we review the development status of GAI comprehensively and analyze pros and cons of various generative models in the view of *** applications of task-specific generative models involving materials inverse design and data augmentation are also *** ChatGPT as an example,we explore the potential applications of general GAI in generating multiple materials content,solving differential equation as well as querying materials ***,we summarize six challenges encountered for the use of GAI in materials science and provide the corresponding *** work paves the way for providing effective and explainable materials data generation and analysis approaches to accelerate the materials research and development.

In this paper, we partly determine the cycle structure of two types of Nonlinear feedback shift registers (NFSRs). Based on these results, the cycle structure of a class of NFSRs with symmetric feedback functions can be completely characterized. Furthermore, an alternative proof of Kjeldsen's results is presented. Compared with the original proof based on abstract algebra theory, ours is straightforward and easy to understand.

This paper investigates the continuous-time unconstrained optimization via dynamical gradient flow systems. For strongly convex objective functions, a gradient flow with predefined time convergence is proposed, which is suitable for relaxing the objective function to only satisfy the PolyakLojasiewicz (P-L) condition. A predefined-time convergent Newton's flow is designed for the minimization of strictly convex functions. The proposed result is extended for strongly convex objective functions with time-varying parameters. In our schemes, the upper bound of convergence time can be used as a prior choice without involving system initialization and complex parameter calculations. The convergence of algorithms is rigorously proved by using the Lyapunov method. Numerical simulation illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Taint analysis is a common technology for software analysis, which is widely used in the region of information security. Aiming at the problem that the existing binary program dynamic taint analysis framework does not support "replay"analysis and the analysis efficiency is low, a taint analysis framework called DRTaint is proposed. DRTaint is a universal taint analysis framework that supports correlation analysis between data regions. Experiments show that DRTaint shows good performance advantages when performing taint analysis many times on one program. On the basis of DRTaint, this paper studies the malicious code behavior extraction method based on taint analysis, and the research finds that DRTaint can provide better support for malicious code behavior extraction. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Recently, a novel form of audio partial forgery has posed challenges to its forensics, requiring advanced countermeasures to detect subtle forgery manipulations within long-duration audio. However, existing countermeasures still serve a classification purpose and fail to perform meaningful analysis of the start and end timestamps of partial forgery segments. To address this challenge, we introduce a novel coarse-to-fine proposal refinement framework (CFPRF) that incorporates a frame-level detection network (FDN) and a proposal refinement network (PRN) for audio temporal forgery detection and localization. Specifically, the FDN aims to mine informative inconsistency cues between real and fake frames to obtain discriminative features that are beneficial for roughly indicating forgery regions. The PRN is responsible for predicting confidence scores and regression offsets to refine the coarse-grained proposals derived from the FDN. To learn robust discriminative features, we devise a difference-aware feature learning (DAFL) module guided by contrastive representation learning to enlarge the sensitive differences between different frames induced by minor manipulations. We further design a boundary-aware feature enhancement (BAFE) module to capture the contextual information of multiple transition boundaries and guide the interaction between boundary information and temporal features via a cross-attention mechanism. Extensive experiments show that our CFPRF achieves state-of-the-art performance on various datasets, including LAV-DF, ASVS2019PS, and HAD. © 2024 ACM.

Network topology construction is one of the basic means to study the target network. Whether it is the discovery of vital nodes, IP location or network characteristics mining, a complete and accurate network topology is needed. In this paper, a regional network topology construction algorithm based on sampling measurement is proposed to solve the problem of high time cost and resource waste of existing algorithms. Firstly, multiple vantage points located inside and outside the target area are selected to form a probing set. Then the IPes of the target area is extracted based on sampling to form the target IP set. Finally, the probing set is used to probe the target IP set periodically. The network topology of the target region was constructed based on the results of a 40-day internet measurement and compared with the existing database. The experimental results show that the coverage rate of routing nodes in the target area is improved by more than 90% compared with the measured data provided by CAIDA (Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis) and by more than 10% compared with the measured data provided by IPIP. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this study,a commercial magnesium alloy AZ31(Mg-3Al-1Zn-0.3Mn)sheet through a short manufacturing process was found to be ductile and highly formable in *** possessing a strong basal texture,the short-processed sheet without any annealing can be bent at a small radius,only 0.2 times its thickness in the 90°bending ***,it could withstand direct deformation by repeated *** in-situ microstructural characterization reveals that extension twin bands with strain localization appear in the bending *** subsequent flattening,these twin bands underwent detwinning,reducing local strain concentrations and enabling further bending *** outstanding bend formability originated from the significant-type dislocation loops slipping on the prismatic crystal planes within dynamic-recrystallized *** grains underwent a uniform refinement to several microns in the short manufacturing process and exhibited low residual *** active prismatic dislocation slip within refined grains was due to its much lower relative activation stress to basal slip(CRSSprism/CRSSbasal of only∼1.6)owing to the effective grain boundary ***,the prismatic dislocation activity was further enhanced when bypassing Al-Mn nano-particles during motion,leaving debris and loops that facilitated easy multiplication.

Background Determining how an image is visually appealing is a complicated and subjective task. This motivates the use of a machine-learning model to evaluate image aesthetics automatically by matching the aesthetics of the general public. Although deep learning methods have successfully learned good visual features from images,correctly assessing the aesthetic quality of an image remains a challenge for deep learning. Methods To address this, we propose a novel multiview convolutional neural network to assess image aesthetics assessment through color composition and space formation(IAACS). Specifically, from different views of an image––including its key color components and their contributions, the image space formation, and the image itself––our network extracts the corresponding features through our proposed feature extraction module(FET) and the Image Net weight-based classification model. Result By fusing the extracted features, our network produces an accurate prediction score distribution for image aesthetics. The experimental results show that we have achieved superior performance.
