摘 要:This study presents the absorptive purification of model biogas from acetone, toluene, and cyclohexane using a new class of absorbents based on a Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) and a commercially available absorbent (Genosorb). Purification efficiency was controlled using a conventional analytical technique based on gas chromatography (GC) and an alternative method based on sensor matrice (SM). The multidimensional SM signals were correlated and compared with the GC results. The lowest difference between SM and GC (3.69%) was obtained for the DES based on octanoic acid (OA) and nonanoic acid (NA) (1:1). With the application of Genosorb, the distinctions between the methods were slightly more pronounced, reaching 10.26%. Notwithstanding these variances, the outcomes achieved through SM demonstrated notable levels of conformity, accuracy, precision, and equivalence when compared with the GC results. Thus, SM is a promising method for practical applications, thereby enhancing its potential contribution to research. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.
