摘      要:In general, electrodynamics requires two independent three-dimensional potential vectors for each Fourier mode, analogous to the position and momentum vectors of particle mechanics. The scalar potential may then be completely eliminated from the theory and a charged-particle Lagrangian will quite naturally contain a spontaneous-symmetry-breaking potential.
