摘      要：A separate PC connected to both the fieldbus and the plant network is described. Called AMBox, it allows asset management functions to be implemented in parallel with an existing control system. Furthermore, no changes to the installed control system are required. This paper discusses the implementation of AMBox functionality for fieldbus Profibus-PA;enhancements for different types of fieldbus are planned.
