摘      要：The cooperative lightning laboratories near Alcoa, Tenn., have been in operation since July, 1928. This paper outlines the purpose of the installation and describes the transmission line on which the studies are being conducted. A background is provided for a more complete appreciation of the technical data which appear from time to time. Conclusions drawn from an operating viewpoint are presented. © 1931. By A. I. E. E.
