Collaborative control technology and application of support and modification for soft-rock roadway in a kilometer-deep coal mine

The soft-rock roadways in kilometer-deep coal mines are often damaged by large deformation and have to be periodically expanded and repaired, which seriously restricts the safe and efficient production of coal mines. A typical soft-rock roadway in a kilometer-deep coal mine is selected as the engineering, and the main reasons for roadway deformation are analyzed, and the ground stress and mechanical characteristics are obtained. The Flac3D numerical model, which can accurately reflect the deformation characteristics of surrounding rock in kilometer-deep soft-rock roadway, has been constructed, and the evolution laws of stress field and its damage mechanism have been analyzed with the vertical stress, vertical displacement and plastic zone. The damage range of roadway surrounding rock is elucidated by endoscopic observation, and the synergistic control technology of support and modification is proposed. The on-site engineering application is carried out in Qianyingzi Coal Mine, and the results show that the collaborative control technology of support and modification ensures the safety and stability of deep soft-rock roadway. The results provide important and preliminary technical references for realizing safe and intelligent mining in coal mines.

A MPSC strategy with adjustable C-rate of lithium-ion cell for PMSM driving EV

Battery is the core equipment of the electrical vehicle (EV), battery life, and performance are critical to EV. Only motor variables are considered in most model predictive control (MPC) strategy in which battery indexes are neglected. A model predictive speed control (MPSC) strategy with adjustable C-rate of battery is proposed in this paper on EV with permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). The rest capacity of battery is involved in the cost function, and the operating speed is related to the rest capacity of battery which adjusts the C-rate of the discharging currents further to protect battery. As the EV runs, the C-rate is decreased step by step according to the improved cost function, and the energy is saved to prolong mileage. The benefits of the proposed method including discharging capacities and operating mileage are corroborated by the simulation and repetitive experimental results under same conditions.

Docetaxel (DTX)-based chemotherapy is the primary therapeutic approach for advanced prostate cancer (PCa) when endocrine therapy proves ineffective. Traditional chemotherapy exhibits poor specificity and induces severe side effects, such as immunosuppression, neurotoxicity, and hypersensitivity. In this study, we aimed to develop a new targeted nanodrug delivery system to accurately identify PCa cells and deliver drugs. We prepared mesoporous polydopamine (MPDA) nanoparticles using a one-pot method. After loading DTX onto MPDA, siRNA was attached to the surface, which was coated with polyethylene glycol lipids film (PEG-Lips);together, this formed MDS@L. The aptamer A10-3.2 was coupled to the surface of PEG-Lips to obtain MDS@LA, which was characterized using different techniques, including transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. MDS@LA exhibited excellent stability, acid-responsive release, and photothermal properties, enhancing its antitumor effects. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments revealed that MDS@LA precisely targeted PCa cells and effectively delivered DTX and siRNA, leading to significant inhibition of PCa cell growth and proliferation. This versatile nanoplatform offers a promising, precise, and efficient therapeutic approach for advanced PCa, addressing the limitations of conventional chemotherapy.

Constructing nanozyme-based single atoms with exposed metal-Nx catalytic sites for alendronate sodium (ALDS) tablet quality control is a complex and uncommon task. Herein, we presented an innovative colorimetric assay to detect ALDS utilizing carbon-supported Fe/Co dual-atom nanozymes (Fe/Co-SA-NCs) derived from a precursor of porphyrin covalent organic frameworks (COFs). The Fe/Co-SA-NC nanozymes, featuring an Fe-N-5 active site and electronic interactions between Fe and Co, exhibited enhanced peroxidase-like activity. Experimental findings and theoretical calculations elucidated that the superior activity of Fe/Co-SA-NCs stemmed from the synergistic effect of the dual atoms, which boosted substrate adsorption and reduced the reaction barrier. When integrated with ALDS and Fe/Co-SA-NCs, the peroxidase-like activity of Fe/Co-SA-NCs could be inhibited due to ALDS-Fe3+ coordination. Leveraging this mechanism, a rapid and selective colorimetric method was developed for detecting ALDS. The Fe/Co-SA-NC sensor showed a detection limit of 0.96 mu M for ALDS in phosphate buffer, surpassing traditional techniques in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and simplicity. Moreover, the system was successfully utilized to control the pharmaceutical quality of ALDS and to determine ALDS in urine samples. This work opens a powerful avenue for developing efficient dual-atom nanozymes from COFs and expands the potential applications of nanozyme clinical pharmacy.

Objective: The objective of the study was to explore the regulatory mechanism of the Xiaozheng Tongluo method on lipid metabolism in liver tissue based on the sterol regulatory element-binding protein-2/(SREBP2)/3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase(HMGCR)/low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR) signaling pathway. Materials and Methods: C57BL/6 mice were selected as the blank group. The apolipoprotein E-deficient(Apo E^(-/-)) mice were randomly divided into the model group, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) group, and control group. The general condition of the mice was determined by the mouse's state and liver weight. Liver hematoxylin and eosin staining and Oil Red O staining were used to observe the pathological changes and lipid droplet deposition of the liver. The protein expression levels of SREBP2, HMGCR, and LDLR were detected by Western blotting and polymerase chain reaction. Results:(1) The rats in the model group were in poor condition, and their liver weight increased significantly. Compared with the model group, the condition of the TCM group and the control group improved to varying degrees, and their liver weight decreased significantly.(2) Compared with the normal group, the hepatocytes in the model group were arranged in a disorderly manner,and the red-stained lipids of stem cells increased significantly. Compared with the model group, the degree of liver lesions in the control group and TCM group was reduced, and the red-stained lipid of hepatocytes was significantly reduced.(3) Compared with the blank group, the expression of SREBP2 and HMGCR protein in the model group increased significantly, and the expression of LDLR protein decreased significantly(P < 0.05).Compared with the model group, the expression of SREBP2 and HMGCR protein in the TCM group decreased significantly, and the expression of LDLR protein increased significantly(P < 0.05). Design strategies for chiral iridium(iii) complexes with stable circularly polarized luminescent properties have emerged as important research topics in the field of organic photonics. Given the high rigidity, low chemical activity and multi-closed-loop structure of R-camphor, its chirality cannot be easily affected. Furthermore, the introduction of indolo[3,2,1-jk]carbazole is beneficial for the narrow emission spectrum. Thus, two yellow-emission chiral iridium(iii) isomers, Delta-(mpincz)2Ir(R-camphor) and Lambda-(mpincz)2Ir(R-camphor), were designed and systematically investigated to elucidate their photophysical properties, chiroptical properties, electrochemical behaviors, theoretical calculations and electroluminescence. The maximum emission peak of racemic Delta/Lambda-(mpincz)2Ir(R-camphor) in a degassed toluene solution is located at 560 nm with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 48 nm, which demonstrated strong circularly polarized photoluminescence (CPPL) in toluene solution with a luminescent dissymmetry factor (gPL) of 1.15 x 10-3 and -1.0 x 10-3, respectively. Based on Delta-(mpincz)2Ir(R-camphor) and Lambda-(mpincz)2Ir(R-camphor), efficient organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated via vacuum evaporation deposition, with maximum external quantum efficiency (EQEmax) values of 14.65% and 15.58% and asymmetry coefficients (gEL) of 1.86 x 10-4 and -2.29 x 10-4, respectively. This work may provide an effective strategy for the preparation of circularly polarized narrowband Ir(iii) complexes.

Enhancing Zinc-Ion-Transport Kinetics in Solid-State Zinc Batteries via an Internal/Surface Dual Acceleration Strategy

Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) hold substantial potential for enabling highly flexible and stable zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) due to their nearly anhydrous nature. However, the development of SPEs is still hindered by their poor zinc-ion-transport kinetics. Herein, utilizing CALF-20 as both a filler and a functional coating, a bilayer solid-state electrolyte (BSSE) was designed. On the one hand, the intermediate CALF-20 filled poly(ethylene oxide) hybrid gel demonstrates strong interaction with CF3SO3 - anions, thus promoting Zn2+ dissociation and transmission. On the other hand, the outer single CALF-20 layer supports Zn2+ ions with abundant transmission paths and a low Zn2+ migration energy barrier, which doubly accelerates ion migration at the interface. This internal/surface dual acceleration strategy allows the BSSE to deliver high ionic conductivity and Zn2+ transference number. Both the Zn parallel to Zn symmetric and Zn parallel to MnO2 full cells exhibit an obvious prolonged cycle life. This dual acceleration strategy sheds light on the design of high-ionic-conductivity, steady, and practical ZIBs.

Loss, Thermal and Mechanical Responses of Rotor in Marine Generators Under SISC Degree and Load Variation

The electric power supply on marine ships depends on the generator. Once the generator fails, it affects the operation of the marine ships. Stator interturn short circuit (SISC) is a common electrical fault in generators. In the case of a short circuit fault, the generator will be in the reinforced exciting current (REC) mode. At present, most research results mainly focus on fault detection methods, rarely concentrating on rotor temperature properties. In this article, the air gap magnetic flux density (MFD) model in the combination of different loads and SISC degrees is established, and the characteristics of the terminal voltage are presented. Moreover, the change rule of the stator current, MFD, and the loss of rotor are comprehensively investigated while considering REC mode. To reveal the law of the rotor thermal response and the biggest value of the deformation/stress/strain at the rotor core acted by temperature, the multiphysics field analysis model with electromagnetic-temperature-structure coupling is established. Experiments are carried out to verify the theoretical and finite element analysis (FEA) correctness by a 5 kW prototype generator.

Physicochemical Properties of Air-Quenched Electric Arc Furnace Slag as Free-State Sandblasting Abrasives and Application Potential Analysis

Air-quenched electric arc furnace slag (AEAFS) is a black sphere or spheroid particle prepared by an air quenching theology using electric arc furnace steelmaking slag as raw materials, possessing the character-istics of small particle size, moderate density and high hardness Combined with the tight supply and demand of the existing abrasive market and the continuous increase in price, AEAFS is tried to be used as a free abrasive for sandblasting processing according to its physical characteristics. In order to make sure that the AEAFS meets the requirement of free abrasive blasting, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of its physical and chemical properties. The research shows that the AEAFS is a spherical particle with weak magnetism and particle size being mainly 2.8 mm (accounting for more than 90%). Its Vickers hardness is in the range of 600-1 000 HV;its compressive strength is between 20 and 465 N and increases first and then decreases with particle size. The water content is more than 0.019%, except that the particle size is less than 0.5 mm. All the others meet the requirements of ISO-11126-6: 2018 standard. The content of f-CaO is between 1.122% and 1.612% increasing with the particle size, AEAFS has good chemical stability and weak acid resistance. In summary, AEAFS meets the performance requirements of the medium used in the sandblasting process and is a potential alternative product for sandblasting abrasives.
