Engineers frequently have the need to make 'sense' out of a large amount of seemingly meaningless information. The analysis of such data requires tabulation of the data as the first step. The libraries of most main frame computers have suitable graphics and statistics programs to carry out such work, but the users of small computers are frequently without them. This study is expected to provide the best design of bipedal robot, which will help widen the application in the future. A new design system is presented through simplification of the control circuit, and the design of computer programs not only lowers the research barriers of the robots but also decreases the development costs. This design system call be Used for various operations of manufacturing processes to make up the shortages of the flexibility for the robots. In recent years, the progress in electronics and the control technology has made the robots useful not only for dangerous and automatic tasks, but also for advanced and friendly people service. Thus, the robots have been Used in the factories for automation and towards the general use ill regular life. Of all robots, the bipedal robot attracts the most attention for its humanoid outlook, user-friendly design, and artificial intelligence for the human society. Many bipedal robots are developed to satisfy consumers' needs. The control circuits and the program design are the key issues to make the bipedal robots. Ill this study, a synchronous robot controller for 31 -axis freedom is developed. The authors also equip a memory in the hardware architecture to store all moving commands of the bipedal robot. In terms of internal programs, the authors develop a human interface that synchronizes the movement of the robot and collects the pace data of the robot. The authors use the statistical method to analyze the data and establish a database of the robot's movement. There are several classical numerical techniques which engineers can use in their work. However if the techniques are computationally intensive, engineers are not likely to use them. Many of the techniques are tedious when done by hand or even on on hand calculators. With the advent of personal computers (PCs), these techniques can be easily used, provided that the proper computer programs are available. The object of this paper is to provide several such programs. The programs presented give results which are accurate to at least 6 significant digits. Actual precision will depend on the computer used. Greater precision is available in FORTRAN by converting to double precision.

Scientific workflows are becoming increasingly popular as a way to automate complex scientific computations consisting of multiple programs. One of the main motivations behind this development is increased robustness and reproducibility of computational analyses. Chaining together multiple programs using plain scripts, as is often the first step in automating a pipeline, can easily become fragile and error prone due to the manual management of file paths and program invocations. Also, plain scripts are not optimal if for some reason you have to cancel a run and try to restart it from any partially finished steps. It can be hard to know which output files are properly finished and which are truncated from the cancelled run. Last but not least, plain scripts do not by default save an execution trace of what was run, such that the full procedure used to create a specific output file can be clearly presented. These are all aspects that scientific workflows are designed to help with.

DAJUST is the generic name of a software package for powder diffraction formed by the core programs AJUST and SGAID (both written in Fortran) controlled by an easy-to-use Java user interface (DAJUST_UI). While AJUST performs whole-pattern matching (cell-parameter refinement, profile fitting and intensity extraction), SGAID provides a list of the most probable space groups. For the extraction of the integrated intensities, AJUST uses the Le Bail procedure but with a different formula for refining the integrated intensities. Laboratory, synchrotron X-ray and neutron sources, and both reflection and transmission experimental geometries, are supported. Other program options include automated background estimation, asymmetry correction, and corrections for absorption, variable divergence and/or illumination. The extracted intensity data are written in text format and can be directly processed by the direct methods program XLENS [Rius (2011). Acta Cryst. A67, 6367] and the multisolution direct-space structure determination program TALP [Vallcorba, Rius, Frontera & Miravitlles (2011). Acta Cryst. A67, C272].

The computer package FLUIDS contains five sets of computer programs written in C++ for the calculation of fluid properties. Both model fluids and data from fluid inclusions can be analysed in the programs. Bulk density, molar volume and composition of fluid inclusions are calculated with the program BULK, which uses microthermometric data, micro-Raman spectroscopic data, cation ratios and volume-fraction estimations as input. The program offers a broad variety of equations of state, which are selected according to the fluid system or the temperature and pressure conditions of interest. The isochores that correspond to the output or test V-x properties of fluid inclusions are calculated by the program ISOC. In calculating the isochores, this program takes account of the compressibility and expansion of selected host minerals. The program TEST allows different equations of state to be compared directly with experimental data, thereby facilitating selection of the most adequate model in the programs BULK and ISOC. Loner is a group of programs that handle individual equations of state (EoS) for all fluid systems presented in the programs BULK and ISOC. Aqso is a group of programs that allows purely empirical modelling of electrolyte-bearing aqueous solutions, Henry's law for dilute gas-bearing aqueous solutions, and osmotic coefficients for dilute electrolyte-bearing aqueous solutions. This paper documents a package of menu-driven POLYPASCAL87 computer programs for handling grouped observations data from both sieving (increment data) and settling tube procedures (cumulative data). The package is designed deliverately for use on IBM-compatible personal computers. Two of the programs solve the numerical problem of determining the estimates of the four (main) parameters of the log-hyperbolic distribution and their derivatives. The package also contains a program for determining the mean, sorting, skewness, and kurtosis according to the standard moments. Moreover, the package contains procedures for smoothing and grouping of settling tube data. A graphic part of the package plots the data in a log-log plot together with the estimated log-hyperbolic curve. Along with the plot follows all estimated parameters. Another graphic option is a plot of the log-hyperbolic shape triangle with the ( xi , Chi ) position of the sample.
