数字创新是企业在数字时代保持竞争力的关键驱动力,而领导者在数字素养方面的提升不仅仅是技能的增强,更是对企业数字化转型和创新的关键推动力。本研究基于高层梯队理论,提出领导者数字素养决定了企业对新技术和数字化趋势的敏感度和理解能力从而影响企业推动数字创新的能力和效果,基于此构建了领导者数字素养通过数字业务强度、知识管理的链式中介影响数字创新的模型,并引入数字化战略作为调节变量。采用多元回归和Bootstrap方法对432份企业问卷调查数据进行实证分析,结果表明:领导者数字素养正向影响企业数字创新;数字业务强度与知识管理在其中发挥部分中介作用;领导者数字素养通过数字业务强度、知识管理的链式中介作用间接影响数字创新;数字化战略对领导者数字素养和数字创新、知识管理和数字素养之间的关系起负向调节作用。本研究重点揭示了领导者数字素养对企业数字创新的驱动机制,为企业推动数字创新提供新的视角。Digital innovation is the key driver for enterprises to maintain competitiveness in the digital age, and the enhancement of leaders’ digital literacy is not just about skill improvement but also a crucial catalyst for enterprise digital transformation and innovation. This study, based on the Upper Echelons Theory, posits that leaders’ digital literacy determines their sensitivity and understanding of new technologies and digital trends, thereby influencing the capability and outcomes of driving digital innovation within enterprises. Building upon this, a model is constructed where leaders’ digital literacy mediates digital innovation through digital business intensity and knowledge management, with digital strategy introduced as a moderating variable. Multiple regression and Bootstrap methods are used to conduct empirical analysis on 432 enterprise questionnaire survey data. The results show that leaders’ digital literacy has a positive impact on enterprise digital innovation;digital business intensity and knowledge management play a partial mediating role in it;leader digital literacy indirectly affects digital innovation through the chain mediating role of digital business intensity and knowledge management;digital strategy plays a negative moderating role in the relationship between leaders’ digital literacy and digital innovation, knowledge management and digital literacy. The conclusion can reveal the impact mechanism of leader digital literacy on enterprise digital innovation and provide a reference for enterprises to promote digital innovation.
