A large number of students struggle to grasp geometric principles, especially in three-dimensional (3D) space. In turn, this is why digital educational tools have been integrated more and more into the learning environment: because they entertain students. One of these technologies is Augmented Reality (AR) which has become a widely researched and effective tool for education. Where learning is situated with content embedded within the physical environment (support), AR better enables offerings to be adapted. This paper presents AR-GeoShapes, an augmented reality-based educational tool developed to help students learn solid geometry concepts. Built with the Vuforia marker less SDK in Unity, AR-GeoShapes is an exercise that runs on mobile devices for users to learn shapes interactively. Further to evaluate whether using AR-GeoShapes helps increase memory retention and improve learning achievement, a comparative study involving 58 students was conducted. The results demonstrate that the experimental group, utilizing AR-GeoShapes, exhibited significantly higher memory retention and learning outcomes compared to the control group. These findings suggest that AR-GeoShapes are a valuable tool for enhancing students' comprehension of geometric concepts. © 2024 IEEE.

Aims: This paper aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of the relative applications of text mining in cybersecurity. Objectives: The amount of data generated worldwide has been attributed to a change in different activities associated with cyber security, and demands a high automation level. Methods: In the cyber security domain, text mining is an alternative for improving the usefulness of various activities that entail unstructured data. This study searched databases of 516 papers from 2015 to 2021. Out of which, 75 papers are selected for analysis. A detailed evaluation of the selected studies employs sources, techniques, and information extraction on cyber security applications. Results: This study extends gaps for future studies, such as text processing, availability of datasets, innovative methods, and intelligent text mining. Conclusion: This study concludes with interesting findings of employing text mining in cybersecurity applications;the researchers need to exploit all related techniques and algorithms in text mining to detect and protect the organization from Cybersecurity applications. © 2023 Bentham science Publishers.

In understanding human emotions, sentiment analysis has been invaluable in social media monitoring, consumer comment analysis, and psychological evaluations. Customer service, human-computer interface, and public mood comprehension depend on appropriate emotion categorisation. Despite its potential, sentiment analysis struggles with sarcasm, multimodal data integration, and emotion processing. Implementing real-time applications requires improving deep learning model computational complexity. Multimodal Optimised Emotion Analysis using Deep Learning (MOEA-DL) uses CNNs for image processing, RNNs for text., and LSTM networks for sequential audio data. This improves emotion recognition by combining modality strengths. Marketing sentiment, mental health monitoring, social media sentiment, and consumer feedback use MOEA-DL. Multimodal solutions are better than text-based ones for communicating emotion. Customer contacts, film reviews, and social media platforms are used to evaluate the proposed strategy. According to simulations, MOEA-DL categorises emotions more accurately and robustly than previous sentiment analysis methods. Its adaptive neural network lets the system learn and perform well in many cultural and language environments. © 2024 IEEE.

A novel QoS-Driven Optimization for Energy-Efficient Clustering Routing (QDOEECR) protocol tailored for IoT-based Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), addressing the critical challenge of energy efficiency in sensor nodes with limited battery life. The protocol’s innovative approach lies in its advanced techniques for optimizing the selection of sub-sink nodes and identifying the optimal path to the sink node, ensuring improved adherence to Quality of Service (QoS) standards. Performance evaluations, conducted through MATLAB simulations, demonstrate the QDOEECR protocol's superior performance, achieving significant advancements over existing routing protocols. These include 30–35% reduction in end-to-end delay, 25–30% improvement in throughput, 35–40% decrease in energy consumption, 28–32% reduction in packet loss, and 32–38% extension in network lifetime. These results establish QDOEECR as a groundbreaking solution that not only enhances energy efficiency but also elevates network performance metrics beyond the capabilities of current state-of-the-art protocols like CBCCP, HCSM, and ZEAL. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's institute of computer Applications and Management 2025.

Die-stacked dynamic random access memory(DRAM)caches are increasingly advocated to bridge the performance gap between the on-chip cache and the main *** fully realize their potential,it is essential to improve DRAM cache hit rate and lower its cache hit *** order to take advantage of the high hit-rate of set-association and the low hit latency of direct-mapping at the same time,we propose a partial direct-mapped die-stacked DRAM cache called *** design is motivated by a key observation,i.e.,applying a unified mapping policy to different types of blocks cannot achieve a high cache hit rate and low hit latency *** address this problem,P3DC classifies data blocks into leading blocks and following blocks,and places them at static positions and dynamic positions,respectively,in a unified set-associative *** also propose a replacement policy to balance the miss penalty and the temporal locality of different *** addition,P3DC provides a policy to mitigate cache thrashing due to block type *** results demonstrate that P3DC can reduce the cache hit latency by 20.5%while achieving a similar cache hit rate compared with typical set-associative caches.P3DC improves the instructions per cycle(IPC)by up to 66%(12%on average)compared with the state-of-the-art direct-mapped cache—BEAR,and by up to 19%(6%on average)compared with the tag-data decoupled set-associative cache—DEC-A8.

This research study presents a new application of reinforcement learning (RL), specifically Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO), in creating immersive virtual reality (VR) games aimed at aiding skill acquisition and emotional regulation for individuals with anger management difficulties. People with Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Stroke Survivors are mainly considered. The study examines how PPO-trained agents improve cognitive, social, and emotional regulation. Techniques include thorough hyperparameter optimization for the PPO algorithm with two sets. Iterative agent training in Unity and AWS Sagemaker uses cloud computing resources for parallelized training. Emotional regulation and positive behaviour change are assessed empirically and through user studies. Virtual reality (VR) cooperative RL games may offer comprehensive treatments for anger management, according to the results, which show promising gains in emotional regulation and teamwork. By enhancing interest and effectiveness in satisfying emotional regulation demands, the study demonstrates that AI-driven therapies and "gamified therapy,"which mixes game components into therapy, can revolutionize mental health. © 2024 IEEE.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced rigorous social distancing measures to be put in place to halt the virus’s spread;compliance was extremely difficult. In response, we have designed a highly advanced intelligent drone system that maintains and controls distance measures following social distance principles through advanced machine learning skills. This paper describes an intelligent monitoring and compliance system in public places using drone technology with a focus on social distance requirements. Boosting the efficiency of human detection in real-time video streams acquired by drones, our solution employs the You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) and YOLO version 6 (YOLOv6) object detection algorithms which are the most potent computer vision tools today. The distances between the recognized individuals are computed based on the Euclidean distance measurement to distinguish cases of nonadherence to social distance measures. Our technique integrates the recently developed deep learning models with aerial imagery and monitoring to make it easily scalable for population health surveillance. Thus, we prove impressively that the underlying inventive method works well in different environmental conditions and can potentially contribute to people’s safety in the event of a pandemic. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Colored Petri nets (CPNs) provide descriptions of the concurrent behaviors for software and hardware. Model checking based on CPNs is an effective method to simulate and verify the concurrent behavior in system design. However, the model-checking method traverses the full state space, which suffers from the state-space explosion problem. A reduced state-space generation method related to the property of concurrent systems is proposed. Specifically, we extend CPNs to define a property-related model (CPN-PR) and give a property-related analysis method whose results can be used to generate the CPN-PR model. A reduced state-space generation method is developed based on enabled binding element filtering rules. The stutter trace equivalence between the state spaces of CPN and CPN-PR has been proven by showing that the reduced state space may not change the model-checking result. A comparison experiment is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

Sentiment analysis, a crucial task in discerning emotional tones within the text, plays a pivotal role in understandingpublic opinion and user sentiment across diverse *** numerous scholars conduct sentiment analysisin widely spoken languages such as English, Chinese, Arabic, Roman Arabic, and more, we come to grapplingwith resource-poor languages like Urdu literature which becomes a challenge. Urdu is a uniquely crafted language,characterized by a script that amalgamates elements from diverse languages, including Arabic, Parsi, Pashtu,Turkish, Punjabi, Saraiki, and more. As Urdu literature, characterized by distinct character sets and linguisticfeatures, presents an additional hurdle due to the lack of accessible datasets, rendering sentiment analysis aformidable undertaking. The limited availability of resources has fueled increased interest among researchers,prompting a deeper exploration into Urdu sentiment analysis. This research is dedicated to Urdu languagesentiment analysis, employing sophisticated deep learning models on an extensive dataset categorized into fivelabels: Positive, Negative, Neutral, Mixed, and Ambiguous. The primary objective is to discern sentiments andemotions within the Urdu language, despite the absence of well-curated datasets. To tackle this challenge, theinitial step involves the creation of a comprehensive Urdu dataset by aggregating data from various sources such asnewspapers, articles, and socialmedia comments. Subsequent to this data collection, a thorough process of cleaningand preprocessing is implemented to ensure the quality of the data. The study leverages two well-known deeplearningmodels, namely Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), for bothtraining and evaluating sentiment analysis performance. The identification of objects that blend in with their surroundings has long been a concern in fields including defence, wildlife monitoring, and surveillance due to the difficulty of detecting such objects. This finding is significant because it could greatly enhance our capacity to detect camouflaged objects, transforming the field of real-time object detection. Existing image processing methods often fail miserably when adequately capturing this aspect. This dissertation's primary focus is identifying devices with complicated patterns, legacy interference, and inadequate contrast;nonetheless, in disguised scenarios, all of these features cause identification to be unsuccessful. This research often suggests a new approach called the Linear Edge Detecting Scheme for Camouflaged Object Detection (LEDS-COD) in these difficult cases. The LEDS-COD system can enhance item visibility in low-comparison settings by highlighting critical edges and descriptions. Pattern differentiation methodologies and modern facility-side recognition techniques are combined to accomplish this goal. The approach successfully differentiated items because it zeroed in on texture and comparative details that would otherwise go unnoticed by humans or advanced algorithms. LEDS-COD is useful in many areas, including the Navy, autonomous surveillance systems, and animal protection, where the real-time identification of hidden devices is essential. Results from a simulation study using various datasets, including concealed objects, show that LEDS-COD surpasses conventional detection methods in recognition accuracy, processing speed, and perseverance. The recommended technique exceeded the requirements for obtaining improved object detection estimates for challenging conditions like those with complex backdrops and changing illumination. According to this study, LEDS-COD can be devastating in improving real-time camouflage detection. © 2024 IEEE.
