Optimization of Intelligent Classroom based on CAD Multi-Valued Color Image Segmentation Algorithm

In order to solve the problem that the efficiency of smart classroom is not high enough, a multi valued color image segmentation algorithm based on CAD is proposed to optimize the smart classroom. This paper explores the notion of smart education as well as a conceptual framework to enable children to receive excellent education and to spark their interest through creative learning. Firstly, CAD software is used to improve software design efficiency and optimize product technology;Secondly, the core technology of the smart classroom is improved by using the national value color image segmentation algorithm, and compared with the smart classroom without the multi value color image segmentation algorithm;Finally, the utilization efficiency of the improved smart classroom is counted. It is proved that the smart classroom based on CAD multi valued color image segmentation algorithm can give greater play to the role of smart classroom, reduce the teaching pressure of teachers by 20% and improve the learning efficiency of students by 20%. The intelligent classroom has a higher degree of informatization and more powerful functions, which is of great help to promote classroom communication and improve communication efficiency. The smart classroom is easier to run and adapt thanks to the optimization of the CAD multi threshold color picture segmentation algorithm, which considerably improves the system's work efficiency and capability. However, the smart classroom also has its own shortcomings, which are mainly reflected in the high investment cost, the complex design of the system and the high maintenance cost in the later stage. With the optimization of CAD multi valued color image segmentation algorithm, the smart classroom is easier to operate and adjust, which greatly enhances the work efficiency and ability of the system. © 2023 CAD Solutions, LLC.

Die-stacked dynamic random access memory(DRAM)caches are increasingly advocated to bridge the performance gap between the on-chip cache and the main *** fully realize their potential,it is essential to improve DRAM cache hit rate and lower its cache hit *** order to take advantage of the high hit-rate of set-association and the low hit latency of direct-mapping at the same time,we propose a partial direct-mapped die-stacked DRAM cache called *** design is motivated by a key observation,i.e.,applying a unified mapping policy to different types of blocks cannot achieve a high cache hit rate and low hit latency *** address this problem,P3DC classifies data blocks into leading blocks and following blocks,and places them at static positions and dynamic positions,respectively,in a unified set-associative *** also propose a replacement policy to balance the miss penalty and the temporal locality of different *** addition,P3DC provides a policy to mitigate cache thrashing due to block type *** results demonstrate that P3DC can reduce the cache hit latency by 20.5%while achieving a similar cache hit rate compared with typical set-associative caches.P3DC improves the instructions per cycle(IPC)by up to 66%(12%on average)compared with the state-of-the-art direct-mapped cache—BEAR,and by up to 19%(6%on average)compared with the tag-data decoupled set-associative cache—DEC-A8.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) is an important non-invasive technique for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases (CVD). After acquiring the patients' raw ECG signal data, signal processing is essential for the diagnosis. Conventional ECG signal processing is usually performed serially, which takes a long time to process signals with large amounts of data. In this study, we have proposed a GPGPU-based algorithm acceleration system to improve the efficiency of ECG signal processing. This system utilizes OpenCL for parallel algorithm development on GPGPU. GPGPU executes certain steps in the QRS complex detection algorithm via parallel computing, thereby accelerating the algorithmic process. Experimental results showed that the system achieved a speedup of 1.279 compared to serial computing when processing 39 ECG signal sequences in parallel. In addition, our system has been equipped with a progressive transmission mechanism and a function that intelligently determines whether an algorithm can be accelerated. These features make this system practical not only in biomedical signal processing but also in engineering and research fields with large amounts of data. © 2024 IEEE.

In document-level event extraction tasks, multiple event types often coexist within a document (the multi-event problem), and arguments may play different roles across different events (the argument intertwining problem). Existing methods often suffer from significantly reduced event extraction accuracy, mainly when focusing on scenarios with scarce annotated data and imbalanced event-type distributions. This paper emphasizes enhancing the correlation between event triggers and arguments to address these challenges. Therefore, we propose the Relation-Augmented UIE Model (RADIE), which introduces entity relationships into prompts using prompt-based learning and designs a relation-augmentation algorithm to improve the accuracy and completeness of event extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly outperforms baseline methods, mainly showcasing excellent performance on datasets with long-tail distributions. © 2024 IEEE.

The advancement of text generation models has granted us the capability to produce coherent and convincing text on demand. Yet, in real-life circumstances, individuals do not continuously generate text or voice their opinions. For instance, consumers pen product reviews after weighing the merits and demerits of a product, and professional analysts issue reports following significant news releases. In essence, opinion expression is typically prompted by particular reasons or signals. Despite long-standing developments in opinion mining, the appropriate timing for expressing an opinion remains largely unexplored. To address this deficit, our study introduces an innovative task - the identification of news-triggered opinion expressing timing. We ground this task in the actions of professional stock analysts and develop a novel dataset for investigation. Our Generator-Assisted Decision-Focused Approach (GADFA) is decision-focused, leveraging text generation models to steer the classification model, thus enhancing overall performance. Our experimental findings demonstrate that the text generated by our model contributes fresh insights from various angles, effectively aiding in identifying the optimal timing for opinion expression. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

The prevalence of social media platforms has resulted in an overflow of concise textual content, thereby posing challenges in the accurate summarization of informal and noisy data. Automated text summarization entails the mechanical conversion of lengthy text passages into succinct, coherent summaries. In this study, we delve into the amalgamation of automated text summarization and preprocessing, harnessing natural language processing (NLP) techniques to amplify text quality, minimize noise, and enhance the retrieval of essential insights. This symbiotic integration of summarization and preprocessing aims to streamline the intricacies of text comprehension, thereby expediting data summarization, including real-time sentiment analysis. The study employs evaluation metrics to compute and juxtapose results, providing insights into the impact of preprocessing on the summarization of short texts. Notably, the findings accentuate the elevated effectiveness of text summarization when fortified by pre-processing techniques. This research highlights the pivotal role of preprocessing in elevating the influence and efficiency of text summarization processes. © 2023 IEEE.

The Internet of Multimedia Things (IoMT) has recently experienced a considerable surge in multimedia-based services. Due to the fast proliferation and transfer of massive data, the IoMT has service quality challenges. This article proposes a novel fog-based multimedia transmission scheme for the IoMT using the Sugano interference system with a quantum genetic optimization algorithm. The fuzzy system devises a mathematically organized strategy for generating fuzzy rules from input and output variables. The quantum genetic algorithm (QGA) is a metaheuristic algorithm that combines genetic algorithms and quantum computing theory. It combines many critical elements of quantum computing, such as quantum superposition and entanglement. This provides a robust representation of population diversity and the capacity to achieve rapid convergence and high accuracy. As a result of the simulations and computational analysis, the proposed fuzzy-based QGA scheme improves the packet delivery ratio and throughput by reducing end-to-end latency and delay when compared to traditional algorithms like genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization, heterogeneous earliest finish time, and ant colony optimization. Consequently, it provides a more efficient scheme for multimedia transmission in the IoMT. © 1994-2012 IEEE.

The Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) has revolutionized the smart grid network, generating vast amounts of data that can be utilized for diverse objectives, one of which is Household Characteristics Classification (HCC). This can help the utility provider profile their customers and tailor their services to meet customer needs. To accomplish this task, we evaluated multiple Machine learning HCC models, with a focus on CNN-based models due to their wide popularity in the field of smart grid signal classification. We evaluated 1D and 2D variants of four different CNN architectures. Our experimental analysis revealed that ResNet-based models achieved the best performance on the task of HCC. Also, we found that 2D models tends to perform better than 1D variants. © 2023 IEEE.

Clustering and routing protocols for Internet of Things (IoT) need to consider energy usage and how to reduce it. Unbalanced power usage is a common concern with current solutions to cluster-based routing problems in the IoT ecosystem. This research developed a swarm intelligence-based clustering technique to achieve a more uniform dispersion of cluster heads. The data packets across cluster heads and the sink are routed via a Jaya algorithm. Based on average remaining energy, number of active nodes, number of nodes that have failed or have been removed from the network, and overall network throughput, this combined clustering and routing method's quality has been assessed. The integrative clustering and routing protocol based on the flower pollination algorithm and Jaya algorithm described here exhibit considerable improvements over the current state-of-the-art. The network throughput and the number of the alive node are essential statistics for evaluating IoT in which battery-powered devices periodically acquire surroundings data and transmit gathered samples to a base station. The proposed strategy improved network throughput and the number of dead nodes by at least 14% and 18%, respectively. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
