Notable tech companies such as Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and a number of game companies have launched bold plans to bring the metaverse to life. It is inevitable that in the years to come, virtual worlds will change significantly as a result of the metaverse ecosystem's ongoing enhancement and the rapid advancement of new technology. Nonetheless, a great deal of work still has to be done before the metaverse can be incorporated into our everyday lives and physical reality. This paper explores the metaverse's rising importance in the area of medicine and looks at its technological roadmap. We see a metaverse having the potential to drastically change intelligent healthcare facilities in the future, ushering in a new age of creative healthcare solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

P3DC:Reducing DRAM Cache Hit Latency by Hybrid Mappings

Die-stacked dynamic random access memory(DRAM)caches are increasingly advocated to bridge the performance gap between the on-chip cache and the main *** fully realize their potential,it is essential to improve DRAM cache hit rate and lower its cache hit *** order to take advantage of the high hit-rate of set-association and the low hit latency of direct-mapping at the same time,we propose a partial direct-mapped die-stacked DRAM cache called *** design is motivated by a key observation,i.e.,applying a unified mapping policy to different types of blocks cannot achieve a high cache hit rate and low hit latency *** address this problem,P3DC classifies data blocks into leading blocks and following blocks,and places them at static positions and dynamic positions,respectively,in a unified set-associative *** also propose a replacement policy to balance the miss penalty and the temporal locality of different *** addition,P3DC provides a policy to mitigate cache thrashing due to block type *** results demonstrate that P3DC can reduce the cache hit latency by 20.5%while achieving a similar cache hit rate compared with typical set-associative caches.P3DC improves the instructions per cycle(IPC)by up to 66%(12%on average)compared with the state-of-the-art direct-mapped cache—BEAR,and by up to 19%(6%on average)compared with the tag-data decoupled set-associative cache—DEC-A8.

Web search engines are used for retrieving information but still there exists ambiguity in their retrieval process. It is so because traditional search engines laid emphasis on matching of keywords rather than maintaining semantic relations among terms lack of ability to produce precise results, presence of ambiguous keywords and verifying needs of users are few hindrances that are acting as scenario for web search engines. The paper focuses on improving search quality of users by collecting user experiences through creating hierarchical user profile it leads to collaborative search engine that helps in reaching at particular decision then the collected user's data are uploaded to recommendation server which are than displayed a search engines like Google/Yahoo. © 2024 IEEE.

Intelligent traffic control requires accurate estimation of the road states and incorporation of adaptive or dynamically adjusted intelligent algorithms for making the *** this article,these issues are handled by proposing a novel framework for traffic control using vehicular communications and Internet of Things *** framework integrates Kalman filtering and *** smoothing Kalman filtering,our data fusion Kalman filter incorporates a process-aware model which makes it superior in terms of the prediction *** traditional Q-learning,our Q-learning algorithm enables adaptive state quantization by changing the threshold of separating low traffic from high traffic on the road according to the maximum number of vehicles in the junction *** evaluation,the model has been simulated on a single intersection consisting of four roads:east,west,north,and south.A comparison of the developed adaptive quantized Q-learning(AQQL)framework with state-of-the-art and greedy approaches shows the superiority of AQQL with an improvement percentage in terms of the released number of vehicles of AQQL is 5%over the greedy approach and 340%over the state-of-the-art ***,AQQL provides an effective traffic control that can be applied in today’s intelligent traffic system.

This research aims to develop an interactive learning system based on Arduino Uno basic material. To realize this system, Augmented Reality technology is used which will explain each Arduino Uno pin function along with an explanation of each example of the basic circuit provided. This started with the Arduino Uno learning process which often caused damage to the Arduino or the components that were connected to the Arduino itself during the process of making the circuit. This problem can occur due to a lack of basic understanding of theory. The use of Augmented Reality technology is able to display objects in the form of Arduinos in virtual 3D, so that 3D objects can appear, markers are used to mark each object, the introduction of the Arduino Uno itself can be simulated by providing a real picture using the multi marker method where there is a main marker containing 3D objects in the Arduino series and supporting markers containing explanations of the series. Thus, learning is not limited to conventional learning and minimizes errors in trials. The method used to develop the system is the waterfall method. The waterfall method itself is part of implementing a design with a good and reasonable target. Based on the tests obtained, the Arduino Uno learning application is able to run well using multiple markers, 3D or 2D objects can be run on a smartphone, and black box testing and marker reading testing are carried out with different lighting levels and reading from different sides. © 2023 IEEE.

The automobile service industry's explosive growth highlights the need for creative approaches to boost operational effectiveness and user experience. This study introduces a Hybrid Garage Assistance system, integrating Classical Machine Learning (ML) techniques with Generative AI to optimize garage service discovery and analysis. The system employs sophisticated data processing methods, including Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) vectorization and regex-based service detection, to extract actionable insights from unstructured garage *** to the system are machine learning models Random Forest (RF) and XGBoost (XGB) which achieve high precision and recall in classifying garage services. A hybrid search mechanism, combining cosine similarity with ML-driven predictions, ensures the delivery of highly personalized search results. To further refine decision-making, the system incorporates Generative AI models such as Perplexity for web-based research, Gemini for location-specific analysis, Mistral for email sending and GPT-4 for detailed service recommendations and dall-e for creating user specific parts images. These advanced tools provide users with comprehensive information that enables them to make well-informed decisions about garage *** evaluation of the system is conducted using robust metrics, including precision, recall, F1-score, and system latency. Experimental results reveal a precision of 85%, recall of 70.8%, and an F1-score of 77.2%, demonstrating the efficacy of integrating classical ML with generative AI. The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled the creation of new solutions to real-world problems, including digitalization and real-time monitoring. Plenty of research has been done in applying IoT schemes in various areas, such as Industry 4.0, smart cities or, as in the case of this paper, smart agriculture. One of the main problems in rural areas is the Internet coverage. In many cases, the infrastructure is very poor, and mountainous terrain further complicates the communication among devices. In this paper, we develop an IoT framework based on the Long Range (LoRa) wireless technology, specially designed to solve this issue (i.e., the lack of communication coverage). In particular, we have endowed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with a LoRa gateway to improve the coverage of LoRa devices in mountainous regions. Our experiments show that not only the distance between sender and receiver but also both the height of the UAV and the Fresnel zone clearance are critical factors for communications performance in mountainous areas. © 2023 IEEE.
