Software testing is a very important phase for software project process. It is a very difficult job for a software manager to allocate optimally the financial budget to a software project during testing. This article considers the problem of optimal allocation of the software testing cost. There exist several models focused on the development of software costs measuring the number of software errors remaining in the software during testing. The purpose of this paper is to use these models to formulate the optimization problems of resource allocation: Minimization of the total number of software errors remaining in the system;On the condition of assuming that a software project consists of some independent modules, the presented approach extends previous works by defining new goal functions and extending the primary assumption and precondition.

We propose a pairwise codebook partitioning technique for robust watermarking based on vector quantization. We group codewords in pairs by similarity. One is labeled '0' and the other labeled '1'. For each image block, we first find the pair that owns the nearest codeword. The watermark is then embedded by selecting from the pair the codeword whose label equals the corresponding watermark bit. The extraction process can be performed blindly. Simulation results show that the proposed method can survive JPEG compression, high-quality VQ compression and some common signal processing operations.

Multi-process job schedule is a very difficult problem often faced by project managers. This study initially considers the problem of small-scale multi-process job schedule by using Stochastic Petri Nets (SPNs) technique. The SPNs model of multi-process job schedule is come up with in the paper, and then the basic steps of search algorithm for job schedule are put forward successively. On the bases of these works, the multi-process job schedule algorithm is given, and the schedule strategies are discussed at same time. For getting the optimal solution of the small-scale multi-process job schedule, the algorithm based on the random search strategy is proposed and the analysis of result believing rate is also discussed. The example of how using the search algorithm to plan the job based on SPNs is given at the last of paper.

In this paper a switching force/position controlsystem of robot manipulator by using fuzzy logic is proposed. This system contains a fuzzy controlsystem. The first aim of this paper is achievement of a good end-effector trajectory tracking performance when the manipulator moves in free space. The second is considering the system behavior when contact forces arise. The objective is to control the contact force and enable the robot actively accommodate the reactive force of environment instead of rejecting it. Performance of the force control schemes for different values of compliant environment are considered and analyzed.

The discretized quadratic optimal/sub-optimal tracker and the continuous-discrete Roesser model (RM) conversions for linear continuous three-dimensional (3D) systems are newly proposed in this paper. The proposed optimal control approach provides a novel methodology for indirect digital redesign of a continuous 3D RM with a continuous cost function. Moreover, a sub-optimal controller is newly presented, that decrease the overall memory size requirements of the optimal tracker. An Illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
