The crowd sensing technology can realize the sensing and computing of people,machines,and environment in smart industrial IoT-based coal mine,which provides a solution for safety monitoring through distributed intelligence ***,due to the difficulty of neural network training to achieve global optimality and the fact that traditional LSTM methods do not consider the relationship between adjacent machines,the accuracy of human body position prediction and pressure value prediction is not *** solve these problems,this paper proposes a smart industrial IoT empowered crowd sensing for safety monitoring in coal ***,we propose a Particle Swarm Optimization-Elman Neural Network(PE)algorithm for the mobile human position ***,we propose an ADI-LSTM neural network prediction algorithm for pressure values of machines supports in underground *** them,our proposed PE algorithm has the lowest average cumulative prediction error,and the trajectory fit rate is improved by 24.1%,13.9%and 8.7%compared with Kalman filtering,Elman and Kalman plus Elman algorithms,***,compared with single-input ARIMA,RNN,LSTM,and GRU,the RMSE values of our proposed ADI-LSTM are reduced by 36.6%,52%,32%,and 13.7%,respectively;and the MAPE values are reduced by 0.0003%,0.9482%,1.1844%,and 0.3620%,respectively.

The need to ensure the longevity of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and secure their communication has spurred various researchers to come up with various WSN models. Prime among the methods for extending the life span of WSNs is the clustering of Wireless Sensors (WS), which reduces the workload of WS and thereby reduces its power consumption. However, a drastic reduction in the power consumption of the sensors when multicore sensors are used in combination with sensors clustering has not been well explored. Therefore, this work proposes a WSN model that employs clustering of multicore WS. The existing Elliptic Curve Cryptographic (ECC) algorithm is optimized for parallel execution of the encryption/decryption processes and security against primitive attacks. The Elliptic Curve Diffie-Helman (ECDH) was used for the key exchange algorithm, and the Elliptic Curve digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) was used to authenticate the communicating nodes. Security analysis of the model and comparative performance analysis with the existing ones were demonstrated. The security analysis results reveal that the proposed model meets the security requirements and resists various security attacks. Additionally, the projected model is scalable, energy-conservative, and supports data freshness. The results of comparative performance analysis show that the proposed WSN model can efficiently leverage multiprocessors and/or many cores for quicker execution and conserves power usage. © 2013 IEEE.

Asynchronous Graph Neural Network (AGNN) has attracted much research attention because it enables faster convergence speed than the synchronous GNN. However, existing software/hardware solutions suffer from redundant computation overhead and excessive off-chip communications for AGNN due to irregular state propagations along the dependency chains between vertices. This paper proposes a chain-driven asynchronous accelerator, CDA-GNN, for efficient AGNN inference. Specifically, CDA-GNN proposes a chain-driven asynchronous execution approach into novel accelerator design to regularize the vertex state propagations for fewer redundant computations and off-chip communications and also designs a chain-aware data caching method to improve data locality for AGNN. We have implemented and evaluated CDA-GNN on a Xilinx Alveo U280 FPGA card. Compared with the cutting-edge software solutions (i.e., Dorylus and AMP) and hardware solutions (i.e., BlockGNN and FlowGNN), CDA-GNN improves the performance of AGNN inference by an average of 1,173x, 182.4x, 10.2x, and 7.9x and saves energy by 2,241x, 242.2x, 12.4x, and 8.9x, respectively. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s). Web different IoT apps offer lot more options for every player in the meat supply chain to monitor, control, and optimize their manufacturing method. Beginning within late 2017, industrial IoF2020 program will concentrate toward massive deployments of IoT via three use cases in the meat supply chain: pig farm management, poultry chain tracking, and for livestock visibility with openness. This initiative will include eleven collaborators spanning 5 nations. Installing and integrating IoT sensors for environmental and livestock management would alleviate producers’ difficulty getting knowledge that data needed regarding continuously tracking how well they are doing. Alert detection is additionally being created, integrating multiple sources of data in order to give farmers helpful input along with communicating news with other partners. By carrying out this, preventative or remedial measures can be done for infections, swine taint, bird mortality, feed waste, the natural world, et cetera. Additionally, EPCIS-based traceability from farm to fork will be allowed to ensure customers may get precise data about the source and caliber of their livestock. Each of these three use scenarios’ existing stage in work along with future plans are expected to be discussed. IoF2020 seeks to support the digital revolution in smart farming by tackling various educational and commercial problems while also promoting its use throughout Europe. It maintains mechanical necessary degree and security against physical along with toxic contaminants during industrial butchering of chicken, a lot measures have been taken. Osteoarthritis is associated with the significantly increased friction of the joint,which results in progressive and irreversible damage to the articular cartilage.A synergistic therapy integrating lubrication enhancement and drug delivery is recently proposed for the treatment of early-stage *** the present study,bioinspired by the self-adhesion performance of mussels and super-lubrication property of articular cartilages,a biomimetic self-adhesive dopamine methacrylamide-poly(2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine)(DMA-MPC)copolymer was designed and synthesized via free radical *** copolymer was successfully modified onto the surface of biodegradable mesoporous silica nanoparticles(bMSNs)by the dip-coating method to prepare the dual-functional nanoparticles(bMSNs@DMA-MPC),which were evaluated using a series of surface characterizations including the transmission electron microscope(TEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectrum,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),*** tribological test and in vitro drug release test demonstrated that the developed nanoparticles were endowed with improved lubrication performance and achieved the sustained release of an anti-inflammatory drug,i.e.,diclofenac sodium(DS).In addition,the in vitro biodegradation test showed that the nanoparticles were almost completely biodegraded within 10 ***,the dual-functional nanoparticles were biocompatible and effectively reduced the expression levels of two inflammation factors such as interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin-6(IL-6).In summary,the surface functionalized nanoparticles with improved lubrication and local drug release can be applied as a potential intra-articularly injected biolubricant for synergistic treatment of early-stage osteoarthritis.

In an era when healthcare was becoming increasingly crucial, many developing nations, including Yemen, struggled to provide basic medical services. Nearly half of Yemen's population lacked access to adequate healthcare, with the situation being even more dire in rural and remote areas. While sectors such as industry, agriculture, and environmental science rapidly embraced technological advancements, healthcare systems in these regions lagged, with limited research addressing affordable and accessible solutions. This gap was further highlighted by the global healthcare crisis and the urgent need for innovative, cost-effective approaches. In response, this study outlined the creation and deployment of a cost-effective health monitoring system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology to address these challenges. The system was designed to monitor vital signs, specifically heart rate (HR), using an Arduino Uno and ECG sensor, at a meager total cost of $27.25. It provided real-time monitoring for situations requiring immediate intervention. Power consumption tests demonstrated that the system operated efficiently, consuming between 1.061 and 1.35 watts, making it practical and affordable. Additionally, the potential integration of deep learning techniques promises to enhance the system's accuracy and efficiency. Although this study focused on IoT-based health monitoring, its potential extended beyond this, offering broader implications for future healthcare technology solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

Biological classification is the foundation of biology and paleontology,as it arranges all the organisms in a hierarchy that humans can easily follow and *** is further used to reconstruct the evolution of life.A biological classification system(BCS)that includes all the established fossil taxa would be both useful and challenging for uncovering the life *** fossil taxa were originally recorded in various published books and articles written by natural languages,the primary step is to organize all those taxa information in a manner that can be deciphered by a computer system.A Knowledge Graph(KG)is a formalized description framework of semantic knowledge,which represents and retrieves knowledge in a machine-understandable way,and therefore provides an eligible method to represent the *** this paper,a model of the BCS KG including the ontology and fact layers is *** put it into practice,the ontology layer of the invertebrate fossil branches was manually developed,while the fact layer was automatically constructed by extracting information from 46 volumes of the Treatise of Invertebrate Paleontology series with the help of natural language processing *** a result,27348 taxa nodes spanning fourteen taxonomic ranks were extracted with high accuracy and high efficiency,and the invertebrate fossil branches of the BCS KG was thus *** study demonstrates that a properly designed KG model and its automatic construction with the help of natural language processing are reliable and efficient.

The purpose of this work is to present the numerical solutions of the nonlinear mathematical Leptospirosis disease (LD) model using the computational performances of the artificial neural networks (ANNs) along with the optimization procedures based on the global search genetic algorithm (GA) and local search active-set algorithm (ASA) scheme, i.e., ANNs-GA-ASA. LD is a zoonotic disease that is occurring in the whole world, obtained by rodents that become the reason of death in the people. The LD model based on the susceptible-infected-recovered, i.e., SIR, is used to solve the mechanisms of disease spread. The optimization of an error-based fitness function, which is constructed through the differential mathematical system using the hybrid computing proficiencies of the ANNs-GA-ASA for solving the LD model. The stochastic ANNs-GA-ASA procedures are applied to the LD model to authenticate the precision, exactness, reliability and competence of the ANNs-GA-ASA. The obtained results using the ANNs-GA-ASA of the LD model will be compared using the Runge–Kutta scheme, which authenticate the importance of the ANNs-GA-ASA.
