In a single qubit system, a universal quantum classifier can be realised using the data-reuploading technique. In this study, we propose a new quantum classifier applying this technique to bosonic systems and successfully demonstrated it using silicon optical integrated quantum circuits. We established a theory of quantum machine learning algorithm applicable to bosonic systems and implemented a programmable optical circuit combined with an interferometer. Learning and classification using part of the implemented optical quantum circuit with uncorrelated two-photons resulted in a classification with a reproduction rate of approximately 94% in the proof of principle experiment. As this method can be applied to arbitrary two-mod N-photon system, further development of optical quantum classifiers, such as extensions to quantum entangled and multi-photon states, is expected in the future. Recently, reported a comments on the our paper [Appl. Phys. Lett. 119, 142102(2021)]. With our response, the APL journal rejected their non scientificcomments. There are some ambiguities about their claim: 1-They can check thephonon dispersion of their structure to see ZA out-of-plane mode. 2-They reportthe uniaxial stress-strain responses in Fig 2., which is unrelated to ourpaper. For a more helpful understanding of the mechanical properties of thenovel C6N7 monolayer, they can publish a paper. 3-They mentioned: Using the DFTmethod and with assuming a thickness of 3.35 A for the C6N7 monolayer based ongraphene thickness. Why did they choose this thickness while we know our C6N7monolayer is at without buckling? The distance of ZA out-of-plane movement ofions in C6N7 is different from Graphene. © 2022, CC BY.

The importance of silicon cannot be undermined - in photovoltaics (PV) as well as in semiconductor industries. However, silicon is very brittle. Silicon cells/wafers crack easily during manufacturing assembly and/or during device operations. Crack Catcher AI uses novel smart fracture mechanics approach with Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies to predict and control crack/damage evolution in thin silicon cells/wafers. This is critical as semiconductor 3D integration technology calls for wafer-to-wafer bonding with utmost alignment accuracy and yield/reliability.

A well-prepared face detection has become a common thing in this era of technology There are so many applications that utilize face detection for example in smartphone, CCTV, and many more. This research proposed a developed system detection object (face and pattern) using LabVIEW software. LabVIEW is virtual instrument that mimics an instrument simulation software that can display object detectors in real time with IGUI design. The accuracy of the detection that can read object using IGUI in real time was also discussed. This research presents a face detection approach and pattern in a colorless image compare to pattern and face texture that are maintained by Image Capture. This is then used to identify faces and patterns, while other previous research on face detection using 3D stereo vision cameras.

Magnetic induction tomography (MIT) is a technique used for imaging electromagnetic properties of objects using eddy current effects. The non-linear characteristics had led to more difficulties with its solution especially in dealing with low conductivity imaging materials such as biological tissues. Two methods that could be applied for MIT image processing which is the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) and the Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART). ART is widely used in the industry due to its ability to improve the quality of the reconstructed image at a high scanning speed. GAN is an intelligent method which would be able to carry out the training process. In the GAN method, the MIT principle is used to find the optimum global conductivity distribution and it is described as a training process and later, reconstructed by a generator. The output is an approximate reconstruction of the distribution's internal conductivity image. Then, the results were compared with the previous traditional algorithm, namely the regularization algorithm of BPNN and Tikhonov Regularization method. It turned out that GAN had able to adjust the non-linear relationship between input and output. GAN was also able to solve non-linear problems that cannot be solved in the previous traditional algorithms, namely Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) and Tikhonov Regularization method. There are several other intelligent algorithms such as CNN (Convolution Neural Network) and K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbor), but such algorithms have not been able to produce the expected image quality. Thus, further study is still needed for the improvement of the image quality. The expected result in this study is the comparison of these two techniques, namely ART and GAN to get the best results on the image reconstruction using MIT. Thus, it is shown that GAN is a better candidate for this purpose.

Management of patient data at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Community Health Center (UPT. Puskesmas) of Rhee Sumbawa District has not been fully computerized. The need for the development of an Information System to store medical records (history) of patient data. The research aims to develop information systems with descriptive research methods. For software development methods using Waterfall Models and built with Microsoft Visual Studio C# software and databases stored in Microsoft SQL Server software. Software testing uses Black Box Testing, which is testing software in functional terms. The results of research into digital data technology products that function to enter, change, delete data and minimize the time to find the data needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of data management.

Wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cells (WJ-MSCs) is proposed to be the best source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). It has better self-renewal and differentiation capacity compare to adult stem cells such as bone marrow- derived stem cells (BM-MSCs). However, their characteristics in different passages do not yet well described. This research aims to isolate and characterize WJ-MSCs with regard to their proliferation capacity, immunophenotypes, and differentiation capacity. The WJ-MSCs were isolated by the explant method. The cultured WJ-MSCs at P5 and P8 were then characterized using flow cytometric analysis with regard to its surface marker, which are CD44, CD90, CD105, CD73, and negative lineages. The proliferation capacity of WJ-MSCs was analyzed with the population doubling time method and the characterized cells were differentiated into three different lineages. The result revealed that the isolated cells highly express MSCs surface marker with >98% for all surface markers and 0.00% for negative lineages. Isolated WJ-MSCs also exhibited a high proliferation capacity with a range of 1.06 to 1.59 days. Both passages revealed excellent differentiation capacity into chondrocytes, adipocytes, and osteocytes.

This paper presents the design to the implementation of the proportional, integral and derivative (PID) remote control system of robot manipulator using Matlab-based Internet network. These studies seek the solution of distance operations, time constraints, and monitoring the operation response of robot manipulator motion as robot that possible to carry dangerous objects which is should be monitored remotely during the operation. PID control system that is controlled remotely by the client and server systems. The monitoring process of robot manipulator is Matlab-based. Testing is done by doing observation to the speed response of the DC motor as the robot's axis driver on open loop system condition, and then doing observation using PID control system. The test of axis robot driver has also been carried out with a variety of no-load and load conditions. The test results showed the motor driver of robot will work optimally when using PID control system. The data acquisition and the stability of data communication between the client and server are affected by the condition of the existing data transfer on the network and also the distance from the server to the plant. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Identification of coffee beans types is a process carried out in determining the category of civet and robusta coffee. The selection of civet coffee manually by the community in determining the variety of coffee beans. Manual selection makes the process slow. There is no certainty whether the selected coffee stated original civet coffee or a mixture with Robusta coffee. It needs to be built a system in identifying the types of coffee beans. In this study, the classification technology used for the selection process of Civet and Robusta coffee beans. This research uses first-order feature extraction with the Support-Vector Machines (SVM) algorithm, which aims to recognize civet and robusta coffee beans' patterns using texture analysis on grayscale images and feature extraction. In the study, the authors used the Rapid Application Development approach to build the selection system. The data used in this study were 120 images, consisting of 110 training data and 10 test data. The accuracy in identifying the types of coffee beans by using this method is 87.27%.

Quantum Contextuality Requires Counterfactual Gain

Quantum contextuality, where measurement outcomes depend on the measurement context, implies a failure of classical realism in quantum systems. As recently shown, the transition between measurement contexts can be mapped onto the path that a quantum particle takes through an interferometer. Here, we investigate the relation between contextuality and the counterfactual gain observed in the output ports of such an interferometer when one of the paths is blocked. It is shown that experimental evidence of contextuality can only be obtained when counterfactual gain is observed for a specific combination of blocked path and output port. Using a silicon photonic integrated circuit, we experimentally observe the counterfactual gain for a selection of input states and evaluate the associated evidence for contextuality. The results confirm that contextuality can only be observed in the presence of counterfactual gain. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.
