As the starting point of Alishan Forest Railway, Chiayi City became prosperous because of the development of forestry. With a long history of metropolitan development, it has many heritage sites in the downtown area, which have become important tourist resources. Due to the large-scale migration, the industrial decline, and the rapid social development in recent years, the cultural industries, which had been blooming, as well as the distinctive local activities and snacks, has been gradually forgotten in the modernization drive. Most people would associate Chiayi City with chicken rice, cubic pastry and Alishan, paying no attention to the rich and distinctive cultural resources of the city, such as International Band Festival, Wake Up Festival, Hinoki Village, Chiayi Cultural & Creative Industries Park, soybean milk with tofu pudding, and cold noodles. By exploring the distinctive tourist attractions, snacks and festivals of Chiayi City, this study aims to flip the cultural tourism of the city, reinvigorate the industry of Cultural Creativity and, more importantly, enhance the citizens' sense of recognition as well as carry forwards the philosophy of the cultural assets. Moreover, with focus on the industry of Cultural Creativity, it attempts to reach the consensus between local culture and environment value, re-establish the structure of urban cultural life, and strengthen the capability of cultural marketing. The literature review, the historical research method, and the field study were adopted in this study. Through the qualitative analysis, this study summarized the historical records and cultural resources of the city, analyzed the stores with distinctive cultural features, and conducted deeper exploration according to the multidimensional suggestions by the scholars. By doing so, it aims to provide some suggestions on the strategies and guidelines of future activities for the Chiayi City Government and Cultural Affairs Bureau, promote the shaping of the city

According to research, the current situation of declining of children's birth rate is becoming a serious social issue in Taiwan. Therefore, most parents are willing to give their children the best care, and the trend of children's goods is refined and more creative. It can be seen that modern people are not afraid of expensive but pay more attention to quality and creativity. This study takes the common traffic signs as design target. Modern children's living environment is becoming more scientific and less exposed to outdoor activities. The preschool children's vision is not broad enough to judge the meaning of the traffic sign. Therefore, in the news reports, people often see cases of children misunderstanding the road, leading to tragedy. Parents play an important role in the child's growth and must teach children to identify relevant signs at the right *** study hopes to teach children the correct concept of transportation through relevant designs. Although the elements of traffic signs are very simple, the more complex the environment, the more streamlined it is to achieve simplicity and order. The ultimate goal of this study is to make children curious about the goods and teach the correct concept of transportation.

In recent years, short trips are popular. In addition, the government advocates weekend holidays and with the development of cultural & creative and tourism industries, people release the stress by recreational activities. Besides traveling in foreign countries, cultural & creative and tribal village experience with local characteristics gradually becomes the new option for the people. According to the researcher's finding, besides the scenery in nature, cultural experience draws more attention of the tourists. The team of this study has collaboratively hold cultural and creative short trips with Wu Fu Tan farm, Shuanglong village of Bunun tribe and Liou-chong-creek village of Siraya tribe for several times and output the related design. It assisted with local residents, local agricultural creative products and upgrading of design quality. The team not only planed the tours, but also constructed the model of design Empowerment by the members' professional competence of design to help tribal residents enhance quality of agricultural creative products in order to be more easily recognized by external world and transform traditional tribal culture into the force of innovation of tribal industry, develop the vision of future development of tribal culture and launch the prospect. This study will adopt field study to collect tribal information. By design Empowerment theory, it inquires, investigates, develops ideas and cultivates the force of local design. With the efforts of this team, this study aims to first learn local culture and subsequently integrate local industry and promote local ecological tourism to revive the place. By sincerity, it shares all in the tribes. This team will coordinate several agricultural products and night festival experience, manufacture tribe-based visual marketing design and combine online marketing and experiential trip of local villages to reinforce the reputation of the farmers and the tribes. This paper proposes a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) program to classify epileptic seizure. The diagnosis of epileptic seizure involves the identification and different characteristic of the Electroencephalography (EEG) signal. As such, it needs a method for identifying and classifying epileptic seizure. Deep learning is part of a neural network that has the ability and pattern to identify and classify epileptic seizure. CNN has been demonstrated high performance on image classification and pattern detection. In this paper, we combine the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and CNN to classify epileptic seizure. This experiment uses the wavelet transform to convert signal data of EEG to time-frequency domain images. The output of the wavelet transform is an image that will classify into five attributes. In this experiment, we develop a simple program that will compare with other CNN approach (AlexNet and GoogleNet). The results of this experiment are two kinds of data, accuracy, and loss. The resulting accuracy is 72.49%, and the loss is 0.576. This result has a better learning time than GoogleNet and smaller loss result than AlexNet.

This study aims to explore whether high school students can enhance students' learning motivation through challenging learning situationsin programming courses. This study was conducted for 12th-grade students in high school. The experiment lasted for eight weeks. Measurements included Pre- and post-tests measure MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) and the performance of programming. The experimental group learning design the game interactive project in Unity with C# programming language, and the control group learning build Arduino interactive project in mBlock with block-based programming. The results showed that there was no significant difference in performance, but the learning motivation of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group.

In order to design a wave energy generating system of a floating type, a 6- Degrees Of Freedom (DOF) motion technique was applied to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis on this floating body and the behavior is interpreted according to the nature of the incoming waves. In the numerical study, the tuning factor concept is employed, as it explains the relation between the maximum pitch angle and the length of the floating body and wavelength. The relation between tuning factor & pitch period for the generated waves is compared to analyze the effects of wave energy absorption. Linear waves are generated in a tank model using a single floater. In this paper, we focus on wavelength of a floater and 14 cases have been modeled for the same. It was found that the wave energy absorption varies in different parameters of wavelengths and also the different locations of the floating body in a wave affect the wave energy absorption, thus necessitating the importance of the location of a floater in a wave and its effect on wave energy absorption. In the past, advertisements commercial advertisements in TV, Newspapers and Radio broadcasts were very common in Japan and most other countries in the world. Meanwhile, the contact situation to the media has been changing due to recent changes in lifestyles and the spread of smartphones and tablet-type devices worldwide. Therefore, when a company would like to announce their own product, cross media advertisement has become important. However, when announcing products, it is quite costly to advertise on various media. Hence, there are some problems how should company decide, what method of advertisement is the best. In this research, based on the single source data, Nomura Research Institute Ltd. investigates and provides, we create a simulator to estimate advertisement effect in each media. This simulation is based on data. Therefore, the precision of the simulation is affected by the number of data. The objective of this research is to find a relation between the number of data and the precision of the advertising effectiveness. For this purpose, we conducted experiments to observe changes in advertisement effectiveness when changing the number of consumers using a simulator, and the results are summarized.

The characteristics of aborigine's craft is an indispensable part of Taiwan's culture. It represents not only the uniqueness of Taiwan's traditional culture, but also illustrates the aesthetic meanings of each tribe with cultural traces. The traditional artistic and aesthetic connotations of the Taiwanese aborigines are distinctive. If we can understand the cultural characteristics of the aborigines from the perspective of multiculturalism. We will be able to understand the roots and patterns of their inheritance, and unveil the cultural and aesthetic values of these ethnic groups. Hsiang-Bi tribe belongs to Atayal, in the village of Taiang Township, Miaoli County, and Ms. Yuma Taru of the Atayal family succeeds in reproducing the restoration of the Aboriginal costumes that have been lost for a long time. In order to restore and create the traditional clothing, with the innovative style. Yuma Taru not only inherited the art of the culture of the Atayal, and become important inheritance of the Atayal industry. She is also a very few people who possess the traditional abilities of dyeing and finishing skills. From the material recovery, planting, harvesting, wiring, dyeing, weaving and many other important processes are completed by this excellent artist. This study uses the Literature Analysis for the data collection and analyze, to understand the Hsiang-Bi tribe's clothing culture and features. Through analysis of the cultural and creative industry theory, we hope to explore the innovative style of tribal clothing, in hope to analyze and understand their successful factors. By understand the unique characteristics of the indigenous totems and bright colors. It is our hope that through the collection, the elements of these traditional cultures, the contemporary elements of clothing and the style of the images, to understand the modern dress to combined and created a new form of life and meaning.
