In this paper, we study distributed optimization problem over multi-agent networks where the goal is to find the global optimal of a sum of convex functions over strongly connected and directed graphs. A novel distributed algorithm is proposed where both row and column-stochastic matrices are utilized to bypass the limits of the implementation of doubly-stochastic matrices or eigenvector estimation in related work. Besides, it has an evident expression and accelerated convergence by introducing the momentum term. Combining the Generalized Small Gain Theorem with Linear Time Invariant (LTI) system inequality, the algorithm is proved to be able to linearly converge to the exact optimal solution. Furthermore, the ranges of stepsize and momentum paramater are characterized, respectively. Finally, simulation results illustrate effectiveness of the method and correctness of theoretical analysis.

This study aims to design a real-time electrocardiogram (ECG) and heart rate monitoring system based on Android. The system connects Android device and a Shimmer3 ECG module, which is a wearable ECG device collecting ECG data with five electrodes. The ECG signal is amplified and filtered by internal circuit processing in Shimmer3 ECG module, and the ECG data is transmitted to an Android phone via Bluetooth. The baseline drift in ECG signal is removed through wavelet decomposition and reconstruction. Then, the processed ECG data are used to find the R wave peaks by an algorithm for automatic R peak locating and RR interval calculation. RR interval waveform is plotted and displayed on an Android phone in real time. Finally, ECG and RR intervals are saved for data playback and subsequent analysis.

We first derive the asymptotic expansion of the bilinear finite volume element for the linear parabolic problem by employing the energy-embedded method on uniform grids, and then obtain a high accuracy combination pointwise formula of the derivatives for the finite volume element approximation based on the above asymptotic expansion. Furthermore, we prove that the approximate derivatives have the convergence rate of order two. Numerical experiments confirm the theoretical results.

Scene classification is a classical task in optical aerial imagery. In practical applications, it is difficult to obtain a balanced training samples supporting model training. Therefore, the dataset usually follow the Long-Tailed distribution, which is challenge for classification task, especially for multi-categories scene classification. It would make model intend to learn the representation of head classes with majority samples, which lead to under-represent middle and tail classes with minority samples and affect a better classifier construction for long-tailed classification. In this article, a novel Prototypical Supervised Contrastive Learning Based on Decoupling Framework called PSCL-DF is proposed for Long-Tailed Classification in Optical Remote Sensing Imagery to make a better feature learning and better classifier leaning. Finally, extensive tests are performed on the two artificially generated long-tailed datasets, demonstrating the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed methods. Our results show that decoupling feature extraction and classification achieve significant performance gains.

With the rapid growth of data volume, knowledge acquisition for big data has become a new challenge. To address this issue, the hierarchical decision table is defined and implemented in this work. The properties of different hierarchical decision tables are discussed under the different granularity of conditional attributes. A novel knowledge acquisition algorithm for big data using MapReduce is proposed. Secure Multi-party Computation (SMC) plays an important role in information security under the circumstance of cooperation calculation, so SMC on privacy-preservation is of great interest. In this paper we discuss an issue which is a special SMC problem. Based on Scalar Product Protocol, Monte Carlo Method and Oblivious Transfer, we give two solutions to the problem about how to decide the areas. That is, a polygon is divided into two parts by a line: S 1 and S 2 . Furthermore, we analyze the security and computational complexity, as well as the comparison of these two protocols. The results of analysis show that the proposed protocols are secure and efficient. We believe the two protocols will be useful in other geometric and combinatorial problems.
