This paper proposes a measurement technique for an integrated complex filter. The proposed method is based on two measurement methods with integrated circuitry for calibration. It is accomplished by applying square waves to an FUT (Filter Under Test) instead of sinusoidal waves or by superposing transfer characteristics obtained by applying a single sinusoidal wave to an FUT. In both of the above methods, the output signal connected to the external measurement equipment via a 50 Ω coaxial cable and so on. In this case, the output signal of the FUT should be amplified by internal or external amplifiers, which degrades the response. However, it is cancelled out by the proposed calibration circuitry with some analog switches. In addition to the above, for the RC polyphase filter, the source resistance and the load capacitance degrade the measurement results and their effect is discussed. The validity of the proposal is confirmed through computer simulation for a third-order RCPF whose passband is 8–40 MHz fabricated by Phenitec 0.6 µm CMOS process. It is shown that the measurement error is −1.10 dB for the square-wave method and −1.00 dB and −0.43 degrees for the superposition method at 40 MHz. © 2025 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

In order to improve video delivery, an Enhanced Explicit Port Forwarding (EEPF) solution is proposed. Data are divided into ordinary packets and video packets using a packet identification mechanism. Traditional mechanisms transmit packets through routing table lookup. As the size of the routing table often becomes excessively large, this lookup can be time-consuming. While the EEPF solution directly includes the transmission path in the video packet, which can reduce the transmission time. And by setting header flags/fields in video packets, the transmission can be further optimized. For example, to reduce the amount of duplicate data to be transmitted for broadcast packets are not replicated until they arrive at the destination switch;to avoid packet loss caused by disconnection, the transmission path can be monitored and rerouting can be initiated immediately in the event of disconnection;to increase the chance of successful delivery, packets can be replicated before they are transmitted via a path with high packet loss risk;and to prevent video packets from being discarded, the switch queue status can be monitored and managed. The testing results have shown that the EEPF solution can effectively shorten the time of video packet transmission and improve the quality of transmitted video. © 2023 Taiwan Academic Network Management Committee. Elimination of noise from the acquired images is one of the fundamental tasks so as to restore the high quality of images to increase the results of segmentation, classification, recognition, detection etc. In this research work, Infrared imaging is used to capture the images with various temperature ranges during day and night time. Infrared thermography is used as a nondestructive image acquisition sensor. So infrared imaging sensors are used to identify and classify different ice types formed on the rivers during winter season in western countries. However, you can observe blur and degradation in the acquired images through infrared imaging, as the climatic nature is involved in the process. These factors affect the quality of the image and also the quantitative analyses of the images. Especially, when there are deeper faults which are found in an under laying substance and high thermal conductivity materials can also be studied. Acquired infrared images are usually affected with noises. In this paper, de-noising of infrared images is carried out using convolution neural network model in deep learning. In this work Gaussian white noise is added to the infrared images with varying noise intensities from 1% to 10% and then the convolution neural network model is applied to de-noise the infrared images. In the qualitative analysis of the infrared images edge factor, uniform region, texture, smoothness, non-uniform region, structure of the region of interest is considered. For quantitative analysis, mean square error, peak-signal- noise-ratio and structure similarity index measure is used. The results of traditional methods of image de-noising are compared with convolution neural network based method. It is concluded from the experimental work that the convolution neural network based method proves to be better for removal of Gaussian white noise when compared with traditional methods. © 2022 IEEE.

In this day and age of data innovation, vast amounts of data are being generated daily, much of it is useless to the general public unless it is correctly handled. This year has seen a huge increase in social networks' relevance, resulting in vast quantities of data provided by users. This vast amount of information is gathered from a variety of sources, including company websites, customer blogs, and item reviews. The text outline is probably the most significant point of view in daily life. Analysis of text sentiment is a method for assessing, summarising, and drawing conclusions about the most important content. In the field of sentiment analysis, attention methods have been crucial since they make use of sentiment lexicons to gather a huge amount of sentiment polarity *** an attention mechanism that acts as a link between linguistic information with a strong emotional component and deep learning algorithms, it may be possible to boost text sentiment significantly. In the LSTM model, word sequence addictions can be captured over the long term. For the first time, scientists have developed an attention model that combines LSTM with an incredibly deep RNN model to tackle the problem of sentiment analysis in the real world. The iterative method trains the first set of word embeddings using a Word to Vector technique. With the Word2Vec algorithm, text strings are converted into a numerical value vector and distance between words and comparative words based on meaning are calculated. Using the attention strategy has the added benefit of potentially enhancing machine learning's ability to learn sentiment representations. The attention model is more scalable and adaptable than previous approaches. The major objective of this work is to assess feelings and develop an abstracted content outline, decide on the semantic summarization of different materials and effectively process the data. © 2022 River Publishers.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.

Agriculture and its large yields are vital to human survival. Recently, machine learning and deep learning have been applied to determine agricultural output. This study estimated apple production utilizing a unique deep-learning(DL)-based technique. A study-designed convolutional neural network (CNN) classified golden and royal gala apple photos. Classifying CNN-extracted pictures with traditional machine-learning(ML) methods was a hybrid application. Datasets A is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. Based on Dataset A accuracy findings, the CNN-SVM hybrid model performed best. CNN-SVM and CNN-Gradient Boosting hybrid models performed best and accurately for Dataset A. The more balanced distribution of train, test, and validation sizes, the suggested hybrid CNN model, and the model's assessment made dataset C the best choice. The hybrid model was 99.70% accurate for Dataset A. Precision, recall, f-measure, and Cohen kappa were 99%. The study found that hybrid models could accurately predict apple fruit yield using golden and royal gala photos. © 2024 IEEE.

The world as a whole now depends on the data that people have stored online and how these developments are tracked in the future. To satisfy the requirements of safeguarding the information of an individual, a company, or a rapidly growing sector, there is only one standard. The first phase, encryption, and the second, decryption, are absolutely necessary to complete. Data is encrypted for protection, then it is decrypted for retrieval. The Advanced Encryption Standard provides the highest level of security for data protection, ensuring that its processing remains hidden. Data on edge devices is encrypted using the AES method by Fog. Since AES has never experienced a data breach, safety and security are the most fundamental truths that may be discovered through its use. Data from Edge devices is encrypted and then modified using fog computing to secure it using the AES technique. The data is then recovered by decryption. The secret key is primarily concerned with data entering and returning to the source, which transforms the proper propagation outcome. © 2024 IEEE.
